I am OLD lol. Hearing you constantly call Magic Mountain, *"Six Flags"* shows the generational divide, and how young you are (or how old I am, lol). Growing up in the '80s and even the '90s, hardly anyone referred to Six Flags Magic Mountain as "Six Flags" (not even on the local news). Locally most people referred to it as "Magic Mountain" back then. But nowadays Six Flags is so engrained in the blood of the park that if you're under a certain age, you'll know it mainly to be "Six Flags". No disrespect, just saying! It just shows that Six Flags has fully absorbed this park's identity away from it simply being "Magic Mountain". Great video!
2:00 I've heard this from another regular too. But what about going around the other way: X2, Tatsu, WCR first? Because those 3 rides suffer more down time, especially X2 and WCR, and they're 3 of the longest waits in the park typically. Usually they're working at park open and you can see if they're running when you enter (though just found out sometimes X2 won't be and they won't tell you until you get up to it). Just seems like a good time to get these rides in when they're running first thing and lines are low.
A lot of the time those rides wont be opening at opening so for 5+ years straight I go through the right side because I personally favor those rides over the ones to the left, which you can always hit later on in the day. Full throttle, goliath, twisted, batman, crazanity, and still continuing to hit more rides all at once than the left side.
So they sometimes delay the opening of X2, Tatsu and WCR? I think that happened to Coliwood Studios on 7/11/23, X2 just wasn't running when they went there first thing. But then they got on Tatsu which already had some line. They eventually got every ride but X2, because it shutdown when they came back to it and had 90+ minute wait another time. Ya, if X2 just doesn't open for first hour you lose a lot of the benefit of going that way. Would you say Twisted, WCR, and Full throttle have the longest lines typically, followed by X2, Tatsu, Crazanity and Wonder Women? or how would you rank them?
@@SpiderWaffle x2 is hit or miss. Tatsu usually has long waits along with crazanity and Wonder Woman. Twisted is hit or miss as well. There’s no particular order tbh.
This place is awful. You cannot buy food to save your life there. The very few open places were wall to wall people. Even the express pass waits were an hour. Terribly disorganized and badly run. Ruined my memories from younger days. Never again
