Thanks for this! I'm planning to visit the park for two days during this upcoming Christmas season, with the intention of riding as many coasters as possible, plus the drop tower, so this is an enormous help! Thanks also for pointing out all the super-obscure shortcut paths that I would have never found myself.
Oooh earlier the better is my motto. Plus I believe a lot of schools in SoCal is going on spring break this week so the park might be crowded! So for me, I would try to come about an hour before opening time!
Thanks! I was totally prepared for my Magic Mountain trip today because I watched this video first 😁 X2 & Tatsu first with Twisted Colossus near the end of the day -- all 3 must rides. All-in-all I was able to ride 9 different coasters and still got multiple rides on X2 & Twisted Colossus 🤘
Thanks so much for explaining the X2 bridge and all the shortcuts!! I'm visiting in a couple of weeks for the first time, and was a little confused about their loose article policy... Were you putting your things in a locker each time? I'll have all of my things in a fanny pack, and I'm hoping I can just keep that on me...
I’m heading to the park on Monday April 17th. Do you think it’ll be as lonely as it was for you? I don’t want to deal with crowds. It’s after Easter and after all the spring breaks
I know that Goliath and full throttle is under maintenance. Other rides are dependent on the day of. I am hoping most of the rides will be open for you!
I’ll be visiting Six Flags for the first time next week and this feels like it was very helpful. Going to go Thursday around 4 for a few hours and if it’s really busy I’ll get the lay of the land maybe. Then Monday is all day thing.
Solid plan. If I can help it, I also like to head to the park near closing time to get a feel of the layout before the full-on experience the following day!
That broke my heart- scream is one of my favorites 😮😂

AWESOMMME! I’m glad the video helped :))))
Love how you summarized all the points at the end :) and showed all the shortcut paths! Also think your munchy lunch edit is super creative 🍔

All rides except X2 have free bins where you can place your personal items! X2 requires you to get a locker for 1 dollar!
@@coastersinjun Thanks so much!
The biggest tip I have is to watch Coasters in Jun before going to a theme park😙
Love the vibes in this video! I've only got a few weeks left on my season pass and need to make the most of it!
Hahha thank you! Christmas time is a good time to go! :D
Comment below on YOUR own personal tips when visiting SFMM! :)

What mech store was the shortcut across from full throttle that led you to the other side of the park??
I don’t know the name of the store but it’s basically the first gift shop you see on the right when you walk inside the gate!
@Coasters In Jun thank you!!
Im heading to the park on the 18th do you know what rides will be closed that day?
I know that Goliath and full throttle is under maintenance. Other rides are dependent on the day of. I am hoping most of the rides will be open for you!
@@coastersinjun Ok thank you!
LA❤❤❤
wow seemed like no one was there.
Yeah all rides were a station wait :) It was still before the holidays and finals season for students
1 thing i kinda dislike about sfmm is that its a giant park and it takes forever to reach rides
I agree but the pro is that the park is so big that we can fit 20 rollercoasters (and counting!)
