Hi, I was the same, videos dont really give you the tone and gear change sounds you need. I made the video with a Gopro and Lav mic to try a better record the tones, headphones should give you a good reproduction. good luck with the install, im sure you wont regret it. We dont have the S650 in Europe as yet but it looks like the Dark Horse is coming here. Thanks for watching

Just bought the exact same car (2022) with performance pack and Tremec manual. Too cold in Cape Cod (US) to drive it, so may send it to Steeda for similar mods. Thx for sharing your experience!

Hi ICE. Nice to see the evolving M1. The H pipe sounds great. I installed the Ford Performance X Pipe to keep it all Ford under warranty. I must say the H sounds more muscle car. The increase in volume was less than I expected...
Have you thought about adding catted headers and a tune when warranty ends? Would that be ok in Spain? Im tempted because the car could you some better low end torque, do you agree?

@@jonyfrommars Hi, the H pipe sounds great, just how I wanted it to be. I think the X pipe makes more power on the gen 3 motor. I would fit less restrictive cats if they would give me a decent HP gain, iv not looked at headers as yet due to the guarantee situation as I have 7 years on the car and it's was registered in mid 2023. The Borla Ford Performance centre muffler is a lot louder than the standard Borla centre muffler, something to be aware of. Two different part numbers, two completely different sounds and loudness levels.
Hi, thanks for the info. The Borla Muffler I looked at had an H pipe with the Helmholtz design integral in the resonator. I would be interested to see what the sound difference is between it and the H pipe. Thanks for watching
Awesome video! I have exactly the same car in Spain with also the Steeda H-pipe installed.
About the inspection after 3 years, there are some guys who you can pay to get it done without having to swap everything.

Hi, well when Ford removed the resonator they made exact cuts so I could go back to them if needed and have the original resonator installed in 20 mins using the clamps supplied with the H pipe. As you have an active exhaust I would change it to quite mode for the ITV. The resonator is just for sound, not emissions. Im in Estepona, Thanks for watching 👍🏼
@@icemach1964 Awesome, I can swap it back as well! My Ford dealer refused to install it as it was not original.
I did use heavy duty clamps, the one that Steeda provides are a bit flimsy.
But what I mean to say is that there are places where you pay €50 for the ITV and they don’t even look!

@@Mikertje1 Hi, strange that Ford would not install the H pipe, Steeda work with Ford and have HQs in the USA and Europe. I don't need an ITV for 3 years so if I still have the M1 by then I will see if I need to change it. Good luck with your mods 👍🏼

Hi, the active exhaust works the same. Only difference is the sound, it's louder but still has that deep tone. When the H pipe is installed, Normal mode will be similar to the original track mode sound and track mode is now 1 stage louder but in a good way with all the lovely V8 sound. I really like the sound, I did not want it raspy or ridiculous loud and it's not. For me it's perfect. Thanks for watching 👍🏼

@@pacomolina8105 Hola, tengo el resonador original, si es necesario puedo instalarlo fácilmente para la ITV. El resonador es solo para la reducción del sonido, pero tengo escape activo y puedo poner el modo silencioso. Gracias por ver el video
Hi i'm kinda late here but I just found you. I have a 22 mach one none hp i bought x pipe from my dealer thay tried to install it. Said it wont fit . Because it is for a gt . Is there a difference?
Hi George, did the dealer supply the H pipe? If so tell them to return it and order a Steeda. You can email Steeda to confirm the correct part for your car. Other brands should offer the same service. It's not hard to install, it should take a dealership 2 hours max. Thanks for watching 👍🏼
@icemach1964 thanks yes the dealer ordered it because I wanted to stay with ford performance. I bought it understating it is nonrefundable. I just don't understand it is different from a gt.

Hi, I live in Spain and I think the order came from the USA so it did take 3 or 4 weeks if I remember. The quality of the products the I ordered was really good and the drink holder cover looks factory, I am really pleased with it. Did you contact Kevin, he normally replies quickly. Worth the wait. Hi Javi, probably not, I have heard a lot louder than mine here. I have the original resonator that can be refitted in 3 years time for the ITV if needed. My car has active valve exhaust so I can make it quieter if needed. Thanks for watching

Buenas......instale la semana pasada el steeda pipe-H en mi mustang mach 1. Ahora surgió un problema que suele pasar en algunos mustang..........Me sale un error "Modo de escape no disponible"..........me quema el fusible de las valvulas de escape. Hola, es un problema común con el escape activo en S550. El cable de la válvula de escape en el El lado del pasajero está tocando el chasis del coche. Se rompe el fusible. Hay algunos videos en RUclips. Gracias por ver el video
