I love the current color but I also get the idea of the black with silver wheels combo. I personally would try to colormatch and keep the current tone

Can't wait to see this build progress. I'm a big fan of the orange Jaegermeister liveries and I think something similar would look great on this with some gold wheels. If you go with black I think having a gold livery like the Lotus f1s would look amazing.

And please no K swaps (nothing against them, but they're played out when it comes to cross swaps). Keep it all BMW. Keep it authentic.
In other countries, like mine in eastern europe, people only dream about these old beamers, its my dream car bmw e21, and its beautiful even if it has race body kit on it, personal opinion you should paint it in a color that is the same age as car, but choose something that stands out, this green color reminds me of german techno nights, i think its overkill, maybe blue? Either way, thats awesome, there are people who only dream about building these cars which most of yall get for cheap prices...
You Should Put the orange Jägermeister livery on it, or the Withe n Red Malboro

LEAVE THE COLOR!! That is the THE perfect 70's Race car livery get a color code and then repaint it so you get rid of all the Scabby repairs and shit...If you redo that yellow/green it will pop like crazy and look period cool as fuck, and you'll have the ONLY car that colour...Cause things havent been that color for a long long time!
Paint it Inca-orange (OEM 70's BMW color) with Jagermeister livery.
Don't know if this car has them but you can make e21 323i brakes fit, the entire axel in the back, the struts in the front. The front 4pot calipers from the 323i should work. Use the master brake cilinder from the 323i.
That head looks sweet, the hot cam goes together with the high compression ratio because of the overlap. But you will need high octane gas in it.
If you do decide to paint it black it would be dope to go with a john player special livery

My opinion…don’t do the JPS, Jagger, or Marlboro liveries. They have been over done. I like the “art car” idea that BMW Racing did in the 70’s. They were very special and unique. Some were extremely complex, so maybe a custom wrap? I loved the Lichtenstein and “blue print” liveries to name a couple…Really enjoying the progress videos!

Hold on right now to put a 4-cylinder BMW E36 M3 engine into the 2002 Alpina "Replica". and then such a BMW 2002 must be white and then it must have M3 accents light blue, blue and red,

Classic bmw has a lot of cool colors on 2002 Florida blue, verona red, Colorado orange, mintgrun, Manila. So many dope options

Julian do what I'm doing in my 02, get a honda b18 or b20. They match the original m10 engine sound.

I could be wrong but your fenders are box fenders. The alpina fenders are bubble or pig cheek fenders.
