Your instincts are on point … the grindstone on the crane looks like a pulley,and if the chain is “going over the pulley and back along the crane arm”, the “wheel” of the pulley should be turned so it’s in line with the arm. Beautiful build!
Ok so far this is the best looking mine entrance I've seen! The red candles as dynamite sticks are so perfect, and the little bell by the minecart... Just grand. I'll definitely be using this for inspiration on my mineshaft entrance!

First, your coordinates are seeming off...I have the seed and the X/Z but, you forgot to say World type...Are you using Default, Large Biomes, or Amplified? (Update: Marloe...This Seed is for 1.17 only. The coordinates you have actually send you to the middle of a desert in 1.20...Can wait for the next biome house!) Second, Is Spruce wood your favorite type to use?

Just built this on a realm. It is simply gorgeous. I made the upstairs an Enchantment room and put storage under the house. It is perfect.

Tip- I guess grindstones (On the first build Not on the crane) can be replaced with lantern
And set the video speed to 1.25x it will be actual normal

Ah yeah that’s because world generation was changed in 1.18 so any seed before that won’t work in the current version! And yes it most certainly is :)
