Brilliant video. I am still playing a very modded Sims 4 mostly offline, but I have made the decission not to buy anything else for this game (I do not own every pack). After For Rent I had to build a save back up from a backup file twice. I basically had to bulldoze all of Tomerang the second time and every residential rental on every map as the rentals that came with the pack were corrupt and so were all the rentals I built with the pack at launch. For awhile I didn’t trust playing with the pack I paid for. It seems to be mostly working these days.
Some people weren’t as lucky as me and lost saves forever that they had been playing in for years and years. I do have a silly attachment to my pixel people but I am happy to just play with what I already own and not give EA another dime!

I appriciate your video, and your transparency. Maybe you could probably see the perfective of the "negative" comments being posted on EA game changers , esp on pack reviews. Just as you did with this video, is all the sims players want from EA game changers. As much as I understand creating sims content is just a hobby, just fun.. I also understand money is made. Money for free advertisement, the ea companion program is fairly new because making sims content WAS a hobby. I can't blame it fault someone who loves this franchise as much as I do, to want to do what they love for a living. But with that being said EA game changers are making commission on sims packs, telling their very young and impressionable audience they "love" a pack when it's really just broken? They are not only breaking the trust of their subscribers, they are also breaking family/person computers, they are breaking sims games, and breaking the law aka false advertisment. EA has this program, so that it's a choice wether you want to apply. It's a choice for someone to choose play the game for fun or choose to make money.
I don't have many expectations on humans, but I what do appreciate (and pray) that EA affiliates who pose as fans of this game, start getting HONEST!
Just as you did with this video right here. Could you imagine if the simsie's and the James turner's published a video like this one??!!! Change could be possible! Less "mean" comments because less people wouldnt be getting scammed anymore, less money would be going to EA, and we could really start to see a revamp of The Sims 4. Greed is a nasty drug, probably the worst, that all these EA game changers were getting a small taste of.
Just think, if someone making a very small commission off a game code & maybe a feature build in an official pack could change their entire moral code, and start advertising broken games..imagine what nasty things EA would do? Would EA cater and sell to the majority of VERY YOUNG Sims Creators and not players? So those creaters could keep pushing advertisment and sales out to EVEN YOUNGER audience? Sounds kinda like a...pyramid scheme right? It's already happening, the morality of EA is gone.
I haven't lost hope in the creators though, like I said they are just kids and generally liberal. I'm hoping they open their eyes, and truly see all of this mess for what it really is. If you are platformed by an audience it is a responsibility to be honest and speak for those who don't have voices. In this case: most of your average sims players.
And for those creators who can't make a video like this! Start working on yourself as try to find what it is more important to you, honesty or greed?
Good work, and keep spreading awareness in your own way.
