    What is even more frightening is that his police officer mind was so depraved, as to murder a stranger within minutes of meeting him, and immediately switched into corruption and cover up mode. That doesn't sound like a first time murderer.

    Think about what really happened here. A man pulled up to a car on the side of the road. Walks up and opens fire and because he didn’t kill him. He opened fire again. Forget who is a cop and everything. Just look at it as they are two human beings. This is cold blooded murder. Give him life in prison or the death penalty.

      No everyone that breaks the law should be charge just as everyone else job title or money shouldn’t have any day so in the charges or time. I myself believe if you murder someone you should get the sentences to death and be put too death as soon as you leave the court room. But just because of a job title isn’t an excuse too charge someone and make that charge higher then anyone else would receive. Because I myself feel that drug dealers should get a minimum of 8-20 years! Drugs kill more ppl then weapons do in America.

      Not to mention, having children while you’re a police officer… danger and losing your life is a risk. If they are so concerned about his kids growing up without him around, he chose the wrong line of work. Maybe that’s why he was so trigger happy. “Better him than me” is probably what he was thinking. He had no reason to pull over, other than to make sure the person was ok. Jones said he was “good,” several times - never speaking in a threatening manner - and cop oddly questioned, “Really?” Twice. I don’t believe Jones pointed the gun - not knowing if this guy was going to rob him he may have showed the gun in his waistband to tell this guy to back off - but I doubt he did that either. I think the cop pulled his gun (without identifying himself), Jones replied “Hold on, man..” and started running. The cop may have found the gun in the car and planted it outside for all we know. Never should have happened, terrible loss of life.

Secondly when i exit my vehicle I make it clear that I’m a police officer. This guy is a sorry excuse as man let alone an officer. Makes us all look bad. Smh

      In this case though, the entire situation was caused by an over the top cop who thought it would be a good idea to stop like a crazy man perpendicular to the street in an unmarked car and not legitimate himself... All this during the night.

    • @chidy9699
      @chidy9699 2 года назад

      There is a big reason training is emphasized in situations like this. In most U.S. police departments you would think the training is more fitting for a soldier than a police office. They are taught everything is a threat and trained to pull out their gun with very little basis. Granted it's not every police department, but by far most of them. I completely understand your point, and especially in this situation Raj was way outside what he would've been trained to do. In many cases like this the training has a large impact though.
      On one hand they need to be trained to react so that in a fast and dangerous situation they dont freeze up or fumble, like you wouldn't want to play times Square after 2 weeks with an instrument, but at the same time not trained so much that their first instinct is to pull a gun out, which is all to often the case.

    It seems like when a police officer blatantly kills another person and the explanation of why that life was taken , the words of the police officer are taken more seriously than the victim . The former police officer had his chance to defend himself in a court of law , yet he chose not to take the stand and hoping that his defence attorney would be able to sway the jury into believing that the defendant was justified in killing the victim .

      A cop's words are ALWAYS taken more seriously, no matter what the alleged crime is. That is why all cops should have bodycams by now.

    He unloaded those second round of shots to try help back up his story. Corey was dead from the first three I dont belive that brotha ever had a chance to get out of that car this positioned and situated his body so everything would match up. Remember he's by himself with no body camera on or no dash cam available because he's in an unmarked vehicle. This is a blantened attempt at a cover to make it seem like he was in danger. This is sickening

    Per the defense laywer's argument, no police testimony can be counted on as being accurate or truthful because stress makes them remember things in only a way that is beneficial to them.

    You gotta love when they say a 7 year police veteran. Since when did working somewhere for 7 years make you a veteran at your job. I love it how we hold the police up to a whole different standard than we do ourselves. They are no body different.

    I think he saw the gun laying on the passenger seat and CJ thought he was being robbed so he ran, then Raja threw the gun in that direction to make it look like CJ was armed at the time of the shooting,

      Exactly! If Corey had a gun pointed at him, why would he say put your hands up instead of drop the gun.

    • @lizsmith1796
      @lizsmith1796 2 года назад +5

      that's a good argument.....but lets say Corey grab the gun and ran...I feel it would have been justified...because Raja came at him aggressively by driving up to him and talking to him condescending and Raja NEVER identified himself as a cop, If I was approached like that I would felt threatened and scared, and I would have done anything to protect myself...

    I don’t understand the charge for attempted murder (the guy died) for the missed shots?
    Jones was hit twice in the arms running away, but the shot that killed him (heart/lungs) hit him from the front - was he shot dead with the second round, despite wounded on the ground with no gun in sight; or the first round while Jones was facing the cop, right after saying “Hold on man..” he put up his hands (maybe holding the gun, maybe not) was shot anyway, then started to run? Either one is murder in my opinion.

    • @johnthree1611

      Not only that, he was also charged with attempted first degree murder. He basically is charged with attempted first degree murder, yet murders the guy.

      Are you trying to say was Raj a COINTELPRO organized stalker. It's worldwide and well known for spying on just citizens, FISA turned it loose full blown under the disguise of police hunting terrorist cells. Now it's a crime but most into it don't abide by laws. Look up the Church Committee investigations of cspan news in 1975. If they're still up on YOU TUBE

    "that you could never shoot someone in the back"
    "you can"
    That's sick considering any law abiding citizen that does it with good intent to save their own life will see prison time.
