    I just love this song and have been learning it. Seeing this video has given me more areas of it to push it to the next level of playing it. Thank you so much for sharing this Nate. I now have my 88 key piano Yamaha P145 and my next step is to sign up for your lifetime membership to keep progressing. I bang away at the piano for hours, being retired gives me lots of time. Thanks again.

    Hey Nate, love to see you do some Meatloaf songs. All written on piano by Steinmann......quite often complex but you are the perfect person to hit the middle ground on playability for the average player.....

You have a Great DAD who innitiated you to the Best of Best 70 .....This is like a beginner plus intermediate course at the same time lots of work on the brain for beginners but understood by writing down everything you say (added2) pattern same for every note. sound so much better! Only have a few days left to my goal of playing wish you were here for my 65 birthday lol! and this one..... Your making my Dream come true .Thank you so much for doing my request May the Angels pour blessings on you ! 🙏

    Incredible work! Thank you very much, Nate! I'm slowly getting comfortable with singing; I've always just played music but never really sang much. My significant other has expressed to me the desire to hear me sing more. I have a lower pitch than you do but I'm trying to keep up!

    I truly feel blessed that I can play just about any instrument I pick up. But man I can’t sing worth a crap. I note this because you can sing. I don’t know what it’s like to play CN and sing along with it. Well, in a manner that others could stand it. lol. Also, seems you have a good father.

    Another Pink Floyd song Tutorial. You rock Nate and your creating longterm followers. Keep it up hardly anyone is doing these kind of songs even though Floyd is one of the greatest bands ever. Food for thought. I would pay(in heart beat) for a course on how to play Pink Floyd songs with a few more tutorials included. Nobody has that nobody.

    Amazing Nate!
    I was thinking that you should have a grading system for the songs - the more difficult higher the grade!
    So that we can see if we are already in the level to play the song!

    • @PianowithNate
      @PianowithNate  Год назад +1

      It's a good idea! The only issue is, I often give options to play a song at several different levels within a video, so i wouldnt want anyone to not try something that has a high grade, if there is also an easier way that i mention in the video!

    All your videos are super, but this one went into the stratosphere. Very cool. You obviously put a lot of time and effort into it. Great job. Request, Jackson Browne, Sleeps Dark and Silent Gate from the Pretender album. I know you enjoy doing Jackson. As always, thanks for your great videos. Btw, which came first, piano or guitar, and do you have a preference.

      Thanks Tim! It's true, I did put a little extra effort into this song as it's such a classic and I couldn't resist using making this video as an excuse to learn the guitar solo :)

    Great tune, well done tutorial. ...but why are we not playing c# if we in the key of Bm? But just regular c? Thanks man.

    • @PianowithNate
      @PianowithNate  4 месяца назад

      Thanks for the kind words! It's a good question...the short answer is because that's how they wrote it, and it happens to sound great! (C is a bVII chord in the key of D/Bm and its a very common way to step outside of the key...it has very anthemic sound) I recently made a video about this very topic that I think will illuminate this for you further: ruclips.net/video/OLohhSGPssg/видео.htmlsi=M81Ex3ZWIxhKpHyU
