It’s so difficult to find a doc who is even willing to have this conversation. How can anyone make the best decision if you can’t have a frank and honest conversation with your medical team?

My husband was crushed in the military. He was a limb salvage and wasn't even told! We found out months into the salvage when I asked a woman who kept interviewing both of us what she was studying, and she said "Oh, your husband's limb salvage, of coarse." "What's that?" "Uh.....your husband's leg would normally have been amputated." Yea, thanks, Navy. He's miserable not able to freaking do anything, and never even given a chance to talk about it.

@@cjdflkj what do u mean "he's miserable not able to freaking do anything" can u please elaborate on that at 15 I got limb salvage surgery because of cancer I'm 18 now and wish I didn't get limb salvage because I'm limited but having my leg feels amazing tho but further surgeries I'm not looking forward to, but the worst part is the regret of going with limb salvage, I can walk normally but I'm too limited 😬please respond u or your husband
