They were SO good and it gave us a chance to walk around downtown at night and do a little souvenir shopping. There is some shopping at the port. But it was much better in town. There was more than enough time. Taking a taxi, for that could not have been simpler.
Hello! Can I correct you please. The island you were on is Vancouver Island, not Victoria island. Rather, Victoria is the name of one particular city. The city of Vancouver, a much bigger city, is located on the mainland, not on this island.
Just so you know, there is a Victoria island in Canada but it is in the Arctic Ocean.
