Okay, your video made up my mind. We are going to do this in July on our cruise. I like the bento box snack. Other videos showed an array of snacks on the buffet area. Is that now replaced by the bento box? Thanks so much for this great video!
Yes, the bento boxes surprised us too. But they were really good and better than the snack trays. Best parts of the car were our own comfy seats, a tour guide, and the back platform. Sitting on the left side of the car was the best for the view. We hope you enjoy! You’ll have to let us know what you thought when you get back.

We are planning to do the same train ride but we’re not sure - how do you book the VIP seats? I didn’t see that as an option. Did you book through NCL or did you book a different way?
Thanks so much for watching and subscribing to our channel! We did book the VIP car directly through NCL. It is limited because there are only 14 seats in the car. If you don’t see it as an excursion option on the app or website, I recommend calling NCL directly to see if there’s any availability. We hope you have the most wonderful time!!!
Thanks for your videos! They’re amazing! We just booked this excursion, is it far from where the boat docks? Do you meet your group on the boat or make your way to the train on your own?
Thank you so much! In Skagway the docks are still restricted due to the rockslide from last year. So you had to take a shuttle from the ship to the pick up point for all excursions. And this was directly across the street to where we boarded the train. It could not have been easier!
How do you book the VIP car? Didn't see it on the railroad site. Guessing this excursion wasn't through NCL?
We did do the VIP car through NCL. It was an excursion option. But there were a very limited number of seats. So, if you want it, I would check your app. And, if available, book it! It was our highlight excursion for sure.
Hello, we booked a trip on September. Which excursion did you booked? I saw they have White Pass Railway, Klondike Gold Fields & Panning and White Pass Scenic Railway? Thanks and love your videos.
We did the VIP car on the White Pass scenic railway. I believe the only VIP you can sign up for is through NCL. You can get tickets to the regular cars from the railway. And the depot is very close to where they let you off from the ship. Hope that helps! You will have to let us know if you did the VIP car. And what you thought of it.

@@susanafernandez8960 Any excursions you purchased through the cruise line should have tickets waiting for you in your room. At Skagway, we had to take a bus to the meeting point. Because of some landslides. They are not allowing people to walk. All the excursions meet at this meeting point. There will be people there with signs. It was slightly confusing at first, but we just asked someone with the regular White Pass Railway sign and they showed us where to go. We waited under a pergola for the excursion. They walked us across the street and right onto the train. It could not have been easier once we found our meeting point. You were going to have the best time!! You will have to come back and let us know how it went. Of course, let us know if you have any other questions.😁🚢

The VIP car was $399/person before any free at sea discounts. It was our biggest splurge for an excursion but, we really felt like it was worth it. Thanks for watching!!
