@@alliepettola3808 no, we thought our hotel was in a great location. And, the taxi system in Barcelona was great. There was a street market right outside our hotel the 1st night. Such a fun, local surprise! And, there was a marathon the day we boarded our ship 🚢 and it came right by the hotel. There were great restaurants within walking distance too! 😁 Hope that helps! 😁🧳

@@704musicent Yes it is the same menu. Starting January 1st every restaurant has a set cover charge. When you go to the restaurant they will ask if you want to use your dining credit. Otherwise you pay the cover charge. The restaurants are different prices so we would suggest you use your credit for the most expensive restaurant that you want to go to. 😁🚢

@@123teals If you want the king crab it was about $100/person. But, we preferred the snow crab and it was more like $70/person. Hope this helps and have a great trip!!😁🚢

Glad it was helpful! They will get you a taxi right from the front desk. There was a marathon on Diagonal street the morning we needed to catch a taxi but it was still pretty easy. It was very reasonable and they took us right to the ship. Have an amazing time!!😁🚢

@@carlacollins3491 to get to the hotel from the airport just get in the taxi queue. It is just outside the terminal. DO NOT GO WITH A DIFFERENT PERSON SAYING TAXI!!! They are scammers. The airport staff will direct you when you get to the taxi line. Just tell them where you’re going. 😁🧳

@@Joakimjakobsen We definitely prefer early check-in. You do have to keep your carry-on bags with you until your room is ready. But, since the Escape in the Mediterranean has 2 embarkation days (Barcelona and Rome) we were able to get in our room by the time we were done with lunch. We don’t mind having our bags with us in the main dining rooms. There’s plenty of room at the tables. Even with the transatlantic you should still have access to your room about 1 pm. Hope this helps! Have an amazing time!!! We think a transatlantic would be really cool!😁🚢

We’ve heard this too. Not sure what they’re putting in the laser tag arena. We heard they’re taking out Los Lobos to enlarge Cagney’s. It will be interesting to see what they do. 😁🚢

@corefouradventures2861 sounds like Spice H2O will fill the vacant Lazer tag area. Looking at the Encore Ship information they already show a expanded Cagney's Steakhouse and Teppanyaki Restaurant.

@@latroutman Good question, we did not take an NCL excursion in St. Thomas. We just paid for a taxi ride to Magen’s Bay. We brought our own snorkel gear but you could rent it at the beach. We just found bringing our own we bought on Amazon to be cheaper and more sanitary since we went to several beaches on that cruise. Hope that helps!! This was a favorite beach for us! 😁🚢

Good question! There’s a Thermal Suite on every ship but amenities vary by ship. We would recommend researching the ship you’re going to be on before you decide on the package to make sure it has the amenities you are looking for. 😁🚢

@@Michaela1942 Yes, that is true in Spanish. However, the locals pronounce it the way we did. Just like they pronounce Paso Robles “Paso Ro-bulls”. We are locals and chose to pronounce it the way it is pronounced here.

You should do ok without knowing the language. We knew just a little Spanish and Italian and did fine. Make sure to download an offline translation app. We used google translate. In the ports you will need euros. We got some before we went from our bank. But, you can use an ATM there if you need to. Just make sure to pick a bank ATM, those weird looking ones not at a bank have really bad conversion rates. Or, most places took our card too. Just make sure to pay in euros and let your bank do the conversion. You will get the best exchange rates that way. Enjoy your trip and let us know how it went!!😁🚢

We’re not positive but we do know they generally try to accommodate people so we would recommend going directly to the wheelchair assistance area. If you have to wait they can probably get you a chair while you wait. 😁🚢

The juices that they use as mixers in the bars are part of the package. Fresh squeezed juice with breakfast is not. It can seem confusing. But, think about it this way and it makes more sense. Ex: vodka cranberry from the bar, covered. Fresh squeezed orange juice for breakfast NOT covered.

They no longer have a la carte pricing for the specialty restaurants. If you want to eat at more specialty restaurants then you get with More at Sea, you will pay the Cover charge for that restaurant. According to NCL they are as follows: All specialty restaurants will have a cover charge. Cover charges are as follows: Steak, Teppanyaki / Hasuki, French, and Seafood have a $60 cover charge. Brazil, Asian, Food Republic, and Sushi have a $50 cover charge. Italian, BBQ, Pincho, and Mexican have a $40 cover charge. Hope that answers your question.

Carol and Pepper absolutely loved it. And, we’ve heard rave reviews from most people we talk to about Los Lobos. But, to each their own. Doesn’t sound like it’s the restaurant for you. ❤️🚢

We enjoyed Q but, would probably not use a specialty dining credit there in the future. 🍗🚢

4 sushi rolls is more than the average person can eat. We are far from dieters especially on vacation. Agree to disagree on this one.

We found it more than all of us could eat. 4 people=16 dishes.

That cheesecake speaks for itself. It’s fantastic! And, as someone who makes real baked cheesecake herself, I thought it was well made. You’re going to love that you can have multiple desserts now with the More at Sea program. Up to 3 appetizers and 3 desserts now! No way you could go away hungry after that. 😁🚢
