Another great upload! I appreciate you sharing your adventure with us, you really opened my eyes to planning my own adventure in Livorno. I already have skip the line tour booked for Florence through Viator, I've been reading through the reviews and they are very positive. Can't wait until you upload Rome! This is so exciting.
@@mygirlash1 Florence was great! And we had a really good experience with Viator. We would caution to make certain that you validate your bus ticket by going through the front door and validating it in the machine on board. You also have to make sure to validate any train tickets right before you get on the train. There are validation machines on all the platforms. If you have a digital ticket you validate it in the app. They are known for fining tourists who don’t understand to do this. Have an amazing adventure!! And let us know how it went when you get back. 😁🚢
@@JulieWilkins-o3j Our tour guide thought they were overrated. But we absolutely loved it! So glad we went and did that. And the coolest part is there’s so many of them now. You just run into random ones while you’re walking around. What was your favorite drink at the Wine Windows? We got Prosecco but now feel like we need to go back for lemon cello spritz.
Me too, it was brilliant. We loved that there was something for everyone 1 month to 100. We took our 7 year old & she loved it too. It was very hot off the ship ❤
@@rosmcg2681 That’s cool you were on together! Such a small world. The something for everyone is one of the best things about cruising. When we’re on the ship we have 1 rule. If you’re not having fun go find something you enjoy. There’s just too many things to do to ever be bored on the Escape!😁🚢
Thanks for sharing! Great coverage and very informative! I just have one question about the Viator tour. We are heading on the NCL Med cruise in May 2025. Did you guys come from the Florence Port or did you guys come from the Livorno port? I am very interested in the coach tour to Florence and Pisa.
@lorrainefloyd9845 Good question! Florence is actually a couple hours from the coast. Cruise ships can either dock in Livorno or La Spezia. We docked in Livorno. But you can get the same kind of tours from either port. Do you know which port you dock in?
Hi! Can you tell me the name of the tour? I have the link but I can’t find your exact tour 😊. We are going on our Mediterranean cruise next July. Thank you!
Good morning - I have a few questions about using Viator. What time did they pick you up and what time was your scheduled return through Pisa -I want to spend as much time in Florence as possible -and we are also doing it on the second day and therefore I want to be very cognizant of timing
@@jacquelinepowell7257 Good question, we met our tour bus at 9:15 am. It’s about 1 1/2 hours to Florence from Livorno. We got about 3 hours in Florence. Then drove on to Pisa where we had about an hour. We got back to the ship about an hour before all aboard. If you want as much to explore Florence and don’t care about going to Pisa there were excursion options that gave about 5 hours in Florence and skipped Pisa. Hope this helps! 😁🚢
@@airmanma Sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy Florence and Pisa. We thought Florence was one of the most beautiful cities we’ve been to. And, we took tons of fun pictures with the leaning tower. Although, you really only need to go once. It was an on your own kind of tour so it is what you make of it. Perhaps a more guided tour would be a better fit next time. Thanks so much for watching!! 😁🚢
Recently came across your vlogs and I am enjoying your med cruise series 👏🏼
Thanks for watching! We hope you enjoy the rest of the series! 😁🚢

THIS EXCURSION WAS NOT WORTH THE MONEY WE PAID FOR IT. I WOULD SKIP THIS ONE, IT'S PRETTY BORING.
