Furtherest we walked in a day….. Rome in July …. Over 40degrees…. Husband I walked 54 kilometres…. And we are in our 60s…. I would do it again in a heartbeat !
*Your cinematography is exquisite! I seriously believe you both have the gift of sharing past, present, and future all at once. Quite Brilliant! I see you. Others see your tenacity. 💗🤗*
Gosh, I can only vaguely remember my last visit to Pisa. I was working on cruise ships, docked in Livorno, took a bus to Pisa, couldn't climb the tower in "those" days though. Took that typical cringy pic of me holding up the tower, but print, not digital, so haven't been able to find it in my stuff... I didn't know you could walk the walls. I guess I've added it to my list of "must do's" 😝 Great video as always guys!!
Guys the monumental cemetery was filled with earth from the holy land brought over into the port. So you are on the soil of the holy land there! Special place ❤
Thanks! You've got 18 more regions to do! PS I've been to Pisa years ago, but didn't know about the wall until I watched a vlog from Lucrezia (Learn Italian with Lucrezia) when she walked to that very point. Beautiful time of day too!
Those coffees look so yummy, and I’m not a coffee drinker. First thing in morning is right up my alley. We loved Pisa when we went there. Would love to go back. That chocolate crossaunt Mateo is eating looks to die for. So did yours. Tower was closed when we were there. It would be weird to climb up, especially being I’m so off-balanced naturally. Wall walk was amazing. That cemetery was a surprise. Love this video. TFS.
We went to Pisa in March but as part of a larger tour day so we really only had time for the tower so we definitely want to go back for a few days. The rest of the city is so nice looking we only saw that area where the tower was.
Wonderful vid most we walked wife and party was between 15 and 20 thousand steps last month in Florence. We missed you by a few days. Fun travels and be safe!
You guys have taken us to a lot of beautiful churches and for some reason this one in Pisa is my fav. Maybe it's that beautiful pulpit. and going up the inside of the leaning tower to the top was great. Love your vids! Stay safe!
What a wonderful full day tour of Pisa guys! I truly was going to skip Pisa on our trip to Tuscany next year, but after watching this I think we will add it to the itinerary! Definitely will try the pizza and the gelateria. Thanks and love the long video…like watching a proper travel show, and all filmed by phone! Amazing!!❤
Amazing video looks like Pisa should be added to my list of beautiful Italian places to go!!! Thank you for sharing, I love being able to come along on your adventures ❤
Love your video guys ❤so the most I’ve walked in Italy was early September this year, 36 degrees, 21421 steps, Murano, Burano day trip from Venice 😅 did a day trip to Pisa, beautiful but very busy.
We went to Galileo Art Cafe for the gelato with chocolate sauce which you recommended in Pisa. We showed the workers your video but they told us they dont do that at this time of year 🥲 We did have the Pistachio puff pastry and coffee though 😀
My wife and I walked 29,450 steps in Rome this past July, which is the most we walked on one day. The day before and after this we did a further 27,000+ steps.
Speaking of the Medici, just outside the piazza, where the leaning tower is across from the river, they founded a school whose name translates to the Better than Average School” 😂
Sadly, here in Australia, coffee flavoured ice cream is hard to find but I'm digging on your chocolate coffee combo. Did you ever have Starbucks Java Chip ice cream? It no longer exists, but wowza, was it good!
@@andreacatzel8259 Yes, in Brisbane and thankfully it's not readily accessible lol. Special treat. But Ben & Jerry's used to have a coffee flavour and also Haagen Daaz had decent coffee. The problem generally in Aus/NZ is they can't resist adding nuts, syrup, coffee beans - everything but chocolate! Go figure.
We stayed five days in Pisa and used it as a base for train travel to Lucca, Cinque Terre, and Florence. Then took the People Mover to the airport to rent a car for our visit to the Volterra area. We were really happy with our decision to stay in Pisa. We also had gelato at Gelateria De' Coltelli.
I loved being in Pisa for multiple days ☺️ It has such a laid back vibe outside of the Piazza dei Miracoli 😝 We enjoyed it a lot and had an amazing apartment too with many small quiet local restaurants in the area. We did the walk along the walls and all the sights on Piazza dei Miracoli. We also climbed the tower wich felt like walking in a fun house to me 😂 We also had the combi ticket and really enjoyed the Campo Santo as well ☺️ And I agree with the ticket seller that the babtistry is not that interesting on the inside 🤷♀️ If you want to walk the whole length of the city wall I recommend NOT doing that in the middle of the day, there is not much shade to be found along the way 😅 Also bring enough water, exits are limited and often not near a shop where you can buy water.
I just got back from there two months ago. But the furthest I’ve walked in Rome or Italy in general was in Rome. We walked about 9 1/2 miles. 28,000 steps from one side of the city to the other. You definitely need calories during the day if you’re gonna walk that much.

What a magnificent church. You could literally spend the day there in His presence. Thank you!

Best pisa video i have seen
Thank you so much, your kind words truly mean a lot to us! 🥰
well done guys - and those Margarita pizzas for ten euros - what a steal!
Bologna’s tower is 1100! You gotta do Emilia Romagna next❤
i think i saw you guys today in Siena in front of the Duomo 😂

Great videos! Can I ask, what camera are you guys using for video?
Another wonderful video ❤
Thanks Ross, we're so happy you enjoyed it! 🥰
thanks so much for your video... saw your Lucca vi; first time to visit in Sept; great recommendation on walking Pisa wall... :)
Thanks An, we're so happy you're enjoying our videos and we hope you have an amazing time when you visit in September! 😍🇮🇹
My wife and I were in Venice at the same time. It was crazy humid. I had ALL the Aperol Spritz’s 😁
Nice video as always 😍👍
This video makes me big mad the tour I did only stopped at the tower! ❤😂 oh well! Gotta go back now 😂
We went to Galileo Art Cafe for the gelato with chocolate sauce which you recommended in Pisa. We showed the workers your video but they told us they dont do that at this time of year 🥲 We did have the Pistachio puff pastry and coffee though 😀
great stuff! I once managed 19.6km in Naples in a day. Sore feet!
you are a great couple and you love art

16 miles is our longest walk (a guide helped us around). I did 14 in Rome in September. Too much!
Nice video, just wondering why you didn't go to the top level above the bells? That's where you get the views without the cage blocking
Thanks Alex! 🤗 And we wanted to, but unfortunately it looked like it was closed 😕 Were you able to get to that level?
Speaking of the Medici, just outside the piazza, where the leaning tower is across from the river, they founded a school whose name translates to the Better than Average School” 😂
Nice job 😊
Thanks Frank! 🥰

Nina…. Do you have a Messina where you are? They do a great coffee gelato!

@@ninablackwell4792 oh boo… I hear you! I’m in Sydney…Messina is the only gelato for me. Spoilt, I know! 😂
Morning sunrise photog walk with walking tour of Florence ended up being 10.5 miles in n 10/4/23!
a Pisa tutto è pendente..... dipende dalla tipologia del terreno. Rimane una città molto bella da visitare

Actually, I did the calculations and 28,000 steps is about 13 1/2 miles. So I guess I walked further than I thought.
She reminds me of Mona Lisa from Parks and Rec.
The most we walked in a day is probably 10 miles (16 km) in Rome.
Same here, up and down Verona. Italy is so beautiful!
Noooooooooooo, I was there three days before you!! What a pity!! It would have been a good opportunity to meet you..... nooooooooooooooooo.
Quick tip when youre not so occupied taking 30 different poser selfie for one landmark is to go to the toilet on the train prior to your stop.
ma scusa a che ora cenate voi normalmente
Pisa is good as they have this tower thing that's all squint
The food sucks . Everything else is cool
