You are amazing! I wish I know you when I was learning layout at Hanna-Barbara Productions from the 70's to the late 80's! And I love your thinking and the way you explain things by being clear and direct, yet with humor. If I was not living in Helsinki at the moment, I would be sitting in your class with wide eyes and listening with large ears. Thank you, Phil Mendez
Absolutely fantastic. The experience and skill just flows out of this guy. Some people just have such a talent for communicating ideas and engaging an audience. This lesson is so important.
Soooo goood! Jeff, this is very helpful content. More artists need to see this video. Good pace, simple terms, honest and to the point. You seem to be a wonderful teacher. Bravo!
Great examples and explanation. Any chance that you share a close up (hi-res) of the images for reference. It would be nice to have them in all its glory!
Great comp intro. Which class is it? Which video? Please put a link to a landing page on your website so get more interested people and help us find the class.
forgive my insolence, but this is the difference between the 'convention' and genius...genius has always found a better different way to present . these are excellent examples of convention...a place to start. I think the example u showed of when u were thirty...had some real imagination and unconvention to coin a phrase. i wish and maybe you also would have continued into the unknown and unproven.
I learned more about composition in this video in 20 minutes than I did all my life, including drawing classes... Thank so much!
I was also watching this video 4 days ago, omg, what a coincidence ha ha ha 😭
As an aspiring artist, this is arguably the BEST 23:11 minutes I have ever found on RUclips!
Thank you for your generosity.
I love the Watts' sincere love of the craft
