I’ve been making this for years and have learned that half a chopped up frozen banana also adds creaminess instead of all that honey. I use a lot less honey and instead some sweetener like stevia or monk fruit sweetener to lower the sugar level. Another great flavor combo is pineapple, banana and fresh ginger. Delish! It’s fun to experiment with any fruit combo. I live in rural Pennsylvania and picked wine berries growing along our lane here and combined them with the banana, too. The thickness of the greek yogurt is so important and it is easy to strain regular yogurt to get the thickness with cheesecloth and a strainer! It’s so difficult to get through Summer restricting ourselves from too much real ice cream and using this is the answer! Cold, creamy, flavorful, healthy, fun , and satisfying!
I made this yesterday. I got my frozen mango chunks from Walmart. 2% Greek yogurt and honey. In fact I ended making two batches. You can add yogurt and honey to taste. I did not add lime. This is a 10 minute task. I let it freeze a little more than an hour and it was perfect. Next I plan on trying peanut butter banana, or chocolate banana peanut butter. Happy eating.
I didn't have mangoes (yet) but tried this recipe with frozen pineapple and it is DELICIOUS. And super easy and quick to make in my trusted Vitamix. Thank you for posting.
I made it last week and it was incredibly good. I also made it with coconut milk and dash of salt instead of Greek yogurt; it was yummy as well. Thanks for the idea Pailin.
Please give me your recipe exactly how you made this icecream, I will be very happy as my grandchildren are coming over and they love mango icecream and you have said how wonderful the icecream turned out that you made, would you be kind enough to give me teh exact recipe, please thank you in anticipation.
@@Larry-qf7lw I’ll reply to your question as I recently gave a demo to a group of ladies on how to make this ice cream and had typed out this recipe. Use spatula to stir bottom of bender to make sure the frozen mango get distributed to bottom of blender. 3 - When you see all the ingredients begin to mix, begin blending using Speed 1 or 2. 4 - Blend just enough until the mixture looks even. *Do not over blend.* 5 - Pour the mixture into the frozen container or tray and cover it. I made the same recipe but substituted ripe peaches. I omitted the lime, because after I tasted it, it didn't seem to need it. It was delicious! I'm making it again for our July 4th BBQ. It's light enough that it makes a good topper for a heavy meal. And if you prep the fruit and pan in advance, it takes just a few minutes to prepare. Thanks for the easy recipe, loved it. Yes,I skipped the lime and substituted honey for maple syrup, as I had it on hand. I have the braun blender as well so thanks for the tip.
EPIC ! Paillin not only made an awesome" time line" video, she also provided valid/crucial info that many others miss. A: The use of honey (or corn syrup) instead of sugar to insure a perfect creaminess(fyi; sugar doesn't melt in a cold mix) B: Mentioning the URGENCY of keeping everything cold; mixing bowl, freezing tray and, most important, the "mixture", explaining perfectly how unwanted ice crystal can form if these steps are ignored. Yes she is an awesome teacher! She gives important tips as she goes like oiling the cup for the honey to easily pour and gives details about the ingredients and equipment to choose. This is left out of most cooking videos in favor of a perfect appearance. Paillin worries less about looking perfect and more on getting the important elements down. She’s awesome and so relatable in a way that’s not put on. Love her!
I made this mango ice cream TODAY! I had 3 ataulfo mangos left over, I followed your instructions, I used maple syrup bc is what I have. OMG what a delicious ice cream!!! and so easy. Thank you!!!
Thank you Pailin for sharing this amazing recipe. By using Honey, it helps to achieve that delectably/creamy smooth texture . I just made it and I love it.

Hi Hi...Am Watchin this video...But i want to know what can i use instead of the yogurt because am not finding it in trinidad where i live...any ideas 🤷🏾♀️
Interesting I thought that this would be the average "oh let's just take banana as binder", but I'm impressed. Besides the Greek yoghurt doesn't distort the flavor of the mango to much. A great recipe that can be altered with almost every fruit that isn't watering to much.
This is sooo good. Mangoes are kind of crap here so I took a chance on frozen. It made it really convenient, and still came out delicious. The mass produced frozen chunks are apparently not super ripe, so I will leave out the lime juice next time.
Love this recipe, it’s so easy!!! I usually just blitz frozen mango with a little bit of water, it’s super creamy and tastes like summer and it’s good to eat in just one minute- and it contains only the natural sugar from the mango plus all the vitamins and fibre. It goes so well with yoghurt, kefir or shaved ice. But I also love blitzing frozen mango with a coconut milk and lime or mango and soy milk.
As a young man, I made that mistake of blending in my wooden spoon into my milkshake...lol. As a Chef, VitaMax is the way to go, think the home version is just a bit less than the commericial models, so if you are considering getting one, do yourself a fav and get the commercial one its way more powerful. The last blender you will ever need. :D Love the videos!
This recipe, is so delicious! I made it and poured it into my large aluminium ice trays! I put popsicles sticks in the middle of each square! Each day, I took one or two and made It last longer! Thanks for posting! 👍
I am already feeling like it is summer. I like the preparatory tips, where you say you need to add the yogurt first. Also the tip about how the honey drizzled out effortlessly. So many tips to pick up in such a short period. Thanks for sharing. Will be back for more.

It looks great and delicious, by the way. 😋👍🏻 Instead of adding the wooden spoon as a tamper and blending all mango cubes together, just blend some mango cubes, then add the rest afterwards and blend again. 😃
Hello, I wanted to say thank you for teaching me this recipe. I used the 300g mango but it turned out amazing too. So rich and sweet and also healthy, no condensed milk needed. Can I make the ice cream using other fruits? Or maybe chocolate?
Summer is nearly here in Australia, and the mangoes are gorgeous. I’m going to make this on the weekend for an Asian dinner party, so I’ll do half yoghurt and half coconut cream. Thank you!
This is a really helpful video. I like how you've included helpful tips and why it's good to know or do for each part of the process, such as the type of mango, using the spoon/tamper to push it down while blending, keeping the pan cold, etc. There are a bunch of cooking videos that simply show you the steps. It makes me feel more confident about my food turning out like it should by being given these extra tips and notes. Thank you!
I just made this and it turned out really good so yummy!!!! can't believe it was that easy!! and also healthier than the other recipes out there that use sugar. and honestly guys, it tastes like mango icecream.

The yellow mango is sometimes called "Champagne" or "Manila" mango. It's much sweeter than the multi-colored larger ones and like Pai says, the yellow ones are much less fibrous than the Green/Red/Yellow ones. Hard to find even here in Las Vegas and rarely on sale and double the price and WORTH IT! I have bought a case/flat of them for cheap in Filipino Groceries here.
Here in Mexico there are two main yellow mangos the Ataulfo which is used in the video and the Manila that you mention. The Manila tends to be slightly smaller and sweeter. For ice cream I would use the Manila.
I've been looking for a quick and easy Mango Ice Cream recipe for AGES!!! My mum used to make it for my brother and I as kids, but with so little time on anyone's hands nowadays, it's difficult to find time to make even the simplest sweets. So this was a wicked welcome recipe!! I DO have a question about the mango: You had specific measurements for the honey and yogurt, but how much mango should actually be used? Does the amount of mango used affect the final product?
Absolutely amazing! I can't wait to try this, I'm trying to introduce my nieces to healthier eating and this is going to be awesome! Thanks for sharing 💞

Wow. The ice cream turned out amazing! I bought mangos straight away after watching this. Please thank your mom for suggesting this reciepe. I love it since there's no need for a can of condensed milk (like some homemade ice creams require) and i can enjoy it since i know the amount of sweetness going into it. Great reciepe! Thank u for the other videos as well.. You make cooking enjoyable..

Yes 😋 2 if my favorite fruits!! I'm going to try that next time I make this!!
It looks great and delicious, by the way. 😋👍🏻
Instead of adding the wooden spoon as a tamper and blending all mango cubes together, just blend some mango cubes, then add the rest afterwards and blend again. 😃
The perfect recipe to help me beat the Texas heat. Very easy and very tasty. Thanks.
Sawaat de krup, this is my favourite channel ever
WOW! Amazing recipe! I just did the mango ice cream and I can't believe it came out SO yummy 😋
Lovely!👍💃🙏💖
Hello, I wanted to say thank you for teaching me this recipe. I used the 300g mango but it turned out amazing too. So rich and sweet and also healthy, no condensed milk needed. Can I make the ice cream using other fruits? Or maybe chocolate?
Love it. You are a genius! I never ever write comments but had to do it for you. Great taste. Can't be easer to make. Thank you.

Thank you!
I was looking for easy ice cream and mango....YESSSSS
Mango is my favourite! I will definitely try this recipe.
Thank you SO MUCH For telling me how long to freeze it. I made sorbet once and it froze to ice 🧊! 😊

Tell me about that. I have 3 mango trees in my house, and when summer comes they produce too many fruits 😂😂😭
I just made this and it turned out really good so yummy!!!! can't believe it was that easy!! and also healthier than the other recipes out there that use sugar. and honestly guys, it tastes like mango icecream.
Ohhhh this looks absolutely heavenly!!! It’s currently January but we’re having a 72* winter where I live right now so mango 🥭 ice cream sounds divine! Thank you so much for your recipes, tips and tricks!👌🏻😋
I blended my wooden spoon stirer. Ice cream was great with slightly woody flavour

We don’t have those type of mangoes here which is such a shame coz they’re the best. Can’t wait to try it this summer
frozen mangoes from a supermarket did help here - doubt London ever gets same quality of mangoes as those in Thailand though
**tastes mango ice cream**
*"GOD it's so mango-ey"*
ماشاء الله وصفة في المستوى بالتوفيق والنجاح
Imagine eating it with sticky rice and coconut milk. Yummmm
Hello! Great recipe. Will a food processor also work? I do have a blender, but I'm not sure if it'll mix as effectively. Thanks in advance!
Hi! I think you're going to have to ask her that one directly as she doesn't see the comments on here once the post is more than a week old (as per her note above). So click on "Show more" above to see how to contact her. Cheers! Adam

I looove mangoes! Anything w/mango in it 😄. I'll definitely give this a try. TY!
I read the recipe
Yum yum!! Love the way this Woman cooks or makes stuff with so must enthusiasm
Who doesn't want to make this beautiful delicious icecream 💕
I've been looking for a quick and easy Mango Ice Cream recipe for AGES!!! My mum used to make it for my brother and I as kids, but with so little time on anyone's hands nowadays, it's difficult to find time to make even the simplest sweets. So this was a wicked welcome recipe!!
I DO have a question about the mango: You had specific measurements for the honey and yogurt, but how much mango should actually be used? Does the amount of mango used affect the final product?
300g
Technically it's frozen yogurt, but I can't wait to make it.
Me too!😃💃💖
Tried making this and it was awesome! Thanks for sharing your recipes! Just brilliant 👌🏻👌🏻

Keep doing the good work I wish you would make a lot more videos like this amazing I think it's by far the best recipe video especially with you explaining everything so good and I would say since we could see clearly from this video that you understand a little bit about fruit I think you should do a lot more videos about how to pick up fruit what is ripe and what is not

Thank you for sharing such talent. I will try my hands on such sweet mango ice cream someday.
