I made the pie and HOLY MOLY! I’ve died and gone to heaven. Browned butter is AMAZING!
My mouth just turned into the Niagara Falls!!!
Oh how was heaven feels like😉 Thanks God he sent you back so that you can have more of this dessert✌😂
Good Lord mango season is here in Southeast Asia and ripe sweet fragrant mangoes are everywhereeeee!!!
Mango season here in So Flo too! Time to go walking my neighborhood to get those that fall outside peoples fences 🤤
In India too. I love mangoes 🥭🥭🥭
Iô
Thank you so much for sharing. Love your videos.!
Same here in Australia. We live in Queensland, so we get the most beautiful local produce. Mango...can you imagine how much better mangoes will be in Heaven lol whoop whoop!!!
A true Filipino classic. Another really good variation which may sound crazy to some would be using avocados sweetened with condensed milk.
How about the avocado and macapuno ice cream, yummy 😋?
This is a nice pie version. One of my favorite desserts called "Mango Graham Float". I was lucky to get to try this 22 years ago when a friend brought it to school and we share during lunch. we were fought over sharing one cubed slice of this that we beg her to have her mom make more for us. It became famous when a condensed milk company included this recipe on their packaging to sell more of their products and more and more people made slight variation of this. Tiktok also shows me of ice cream and cupcake/jelly version of this. mango really is the one to make this dessert great.
Brown butter sounds delicious! But if you're in a rush or a much simpler process but tastes as good, you just simply use the whole Graham crackers to layer ( no need to Crumb them and no need for butter), and it will soften like cake as it's stored in the freezer overnight. Some just cool them in the fridge but it's really best when frozen. The brown butter crust is a more fancy version 😋. Pai I love it when you feature Filipino dishes ❤
BAKING TIP:
If you (bake) the pie crust for (7 minutes) than let it (chill) it will take your pie crust to a whole new level of deliciousness!!!😋
Omitting the brown butter tastes “as good”? Really?
@@Cyberia24 yes, in my opinion. You may want to try it to find out 😃
@@Cyberia24
I concur with Louise, I’ve had it both ways….try it !!!!
Also fresh mango and ice cream in the blender w/ a lil milk (mango shake) is awesome!
Simplicity at its best!
That’s how I make Mango Float for my husbands birthday. He is Filipino, it’s his favourite dessert. I add roasted sliced almonds as well 😁
Can’t wait to try this recipe. I absolutely love mangos and the addition of brown butter in the crust sounds amazing!! Thanks. 🙏
I just made this: SO TASTY... Pailin is right about how fresh the mangos are AND how long you have to make it rest... great dessert! love your channel. thanks!
I love all your filipino recipes in this channel. Thank you. Anyway, I always make this dessert but for the crust, I would blitz toasted walnuts along with graham crackers to make it more flavorful. 🙂
Pai! I just made this last night and couldn’t wait to try it (I know dessert for breakfast)! It’s so light and refreshing! My Filipino family was thoroughly impressed with me! Note: The lime really makes a difference…so good!😃
I remember learning a recipe for this back when I was in elementary school here in The Philippines. This is basically the first Filipino dessert recipe I've ever learned from our home economics class.
This brings back memories. 😊
This recipe is my latest crave. I followed it to a tee. Bought 6 riped mangoes at a cheap price. And "baked" 2 Mango Royale. I gifted one to my neighbour and another for my family. It was superb! Will bake another 2 for this Christmas Celebration 😍
This looks absolutely delicious!!! Will definitely give it a try! Thanks for sharing all these amazing recipes ❤️
This is a keeper. I can taste that barely scorched butter and I always loved it. I'll add this to my list of things to cook when I go to my daughter's house
I’m a good cook but a lousy baker and my Chinese wife loves mangoes so you’re helping me make her happy! 👏👏👏👏
I love your warm personality and lovely dimply smiles. Makes the mango pie much more delicious!
You have such a great way of explaining things. I've seen brown butter a million times, but the way you made it and described the process makes me finally want to try making it.
I made this yesterday. It turned out well and is delicious. I wish I could send pictures ... it looks almost as good as yours. Thanks for all the tips.
Been eating this my entire life but 1) I've never seen it this pretty and 2) that lime trick I am excited to try the next time i make it. Thanksssss!
Music to my ears when I heard she mentioned it’s a Filipino dessert! Mango lover here. 😋🥭💕 Can’t wait to try this. I love no-bake desserts. 😋😍😋
This looks fresh and perfectly sweet! Perfect for Mother's Day!!
Making this over the weekend. Thanks for the recipe and the video!
Hot Tip! Run your knife under a hot tap to heat it up each time you cut a slice of pie and it will make a cleaner, easier cut. If you find the pie sticks to the bottom of the pan (because you didn't line it) then fill your kitchen sink with some hot water and dip your pie pan into it for a minute to melt the butter in the pie crust base a bit.
I'm sure my son will love this! Will look for ripe mangoes! You are simply awesome! Love your recipes and have tried some of them! Keep them coming Pai!!!
You are a breath of fresh air. Just found your RUclips video on how to eat Thai food with a spoon, assisted with the back of the fork. Fried chicken from your hometown Hat Yai, and now this mango recipe. I just bought a dozen mango at Costco a few days ago waiting for them to ripen, and I have a full box of graham crakers, and a half carton of whipping cream, and the rest of the items to make this mango pie. Going to amke tomorrow. Thank you, and THUMBS UP!!!
This looks so easy to make, I love that it doesnt have coconut in it either so mango is the star of this dish.
That looks so simple and so good. Can't wait to try it this summer! V refreshing.
This looks and sounds great! I can't wait to try it, Thank you for sharing this ♥
OMG! Pailinnnnnnn! What have you done?!?! That graham cracker crust is to die for! You’re absolutely right…one can eat just the crust alone. You’ve turned me into an addict. 😅
This looks delicious! Love that you added brown butter to the crust - have to try that!
I tried this today and it was very satisfying in flavor. I have to wait until it set/freezes but the flavor is there. So easy and good! Thanks for sharing!
I thoroughly enjoyed watching! You are so well spoken and articulate great! Thank you for the recipe
Thank you Pailin excellent dessert Mam
ขอบใจมากไพลิน
This looks delicious. I will definitely have to try when my current case of mangoes are ripe.
I usually make mango fool during mango season. Its very similar ingredients. Mangoes with lime and sugar to taste folded into stiff whipped cream and refrigerate before serving.
Wow this mango roysle is absolutely a delicious recipe. I love the simplicity yet so delicious and flavorful.
That looks delicious!
I’ve never really eaten mangos, now I can’t wait!
Yes, we used to get the mango seed as well (I’m half Caribbean). It’s so great for kids, they can’t choke on anything.
That browned butter is next level! Cannot wait to make it, thanks for sharing!
It’s so lovely and looks very yummy. Thank you for sharing ❤️👍
hey, good recipe!! we call that brown butter 'ghee' in India but meticulously avoid the brown part so the clarified butter looks good in its jar. the brown bits we mix with Jagger or sugar and have as a snack!
Happiness and thank you. I’m a great cook but not a desert person, now I have something to serve without baking and is soooo amazing! Thank you! I’m also no longer afraid of making brown butter, although mine didn’t exactly look like yours the description got me through. TY TY TY
Your videos are out of this world, thank you so much
I cannot wait to make this for my friends. thanks for sharing. looks fantastic. (late happy new year!!)
Thanks for the tip on Javy! I'll give it a try for reasons similar to yours.Love all your yummy recipes!
I realized I've watched 3 of your videos, and they all looked good, just subscribed! 😄😋
Whipped cream plus condensed milk equals ice cream, so basically it's a mango ice cream pie. The layering makes it super mouth-watering. Great job, Pai!
BTW, the first video of yours that I watched happens to be mango ice cream. Would you also teach us how to make sago soup with mango and pomelo (in Chinese "楊枝甘露")?
This is good. I like the way you present very much appreciated. Your English is very clear and brief.
Looks yummy love the ingredients and explanation thanks for sharing I will prepare one ☺️
Love your video & details of the step by step recipe. Excellent in every which way. Best wishes for 2023.
Yes! My kids favorite. They grew up with and love it so much. It is so famous in the Philippines. When there's a party its the first one to go. It will just disappear in the table especially this coming christmas.😊💖🇵🇭
I made with mango and one with Raspberry. Used this recipe as base . OMG … so good !!
Mangoes are my favorite fruit and I can’t wait to make this delicious looking pie, my mouth is literally watering, right now. 🤤
Thank you for sharing. 🤗
Oh yeah, I’ve just subscribed and I’m sharing this with my daughter and friends.
Looks sooo good!! I'm going to make it!!! Yesss!!!
My mouth is watering!!! Totally making this!!
Dear Pailin, thank you for this Mango dessert recipe. My family and friends really enjoyed and liked it.
You are right - put in the freezer overnight. 😊
I’m going to try this “brown butter” on my Banoffee pie.
Thanks for sharing your recipe.
Brilliant!
this recipe is amazing! by the way, if you've ever made butter from cream (I have, many times), you'll know that you REALLY have to overbeat it for a LONG time for it to start to turn into butter. very fresh cream that is very high in fat turns a bit quicker, but it still takes a good 10+ minutes of beating to get butter, and more like 20-30 minutes with regular cream. so you don't have to worry about overbeating cream too much; it's a lot more work than you might think. it's fun to do, though, if you ever want to try.
7:29. “Give mango seed to your kids…kids: ‘it’s GOOD!’ …quality control.” Hysterical!
This is certainly worth a try.Something that looks so good must taste wonderful. I could almost feel it in my mouth. Presentation is as important as the taste ,I say
That looks so delisious. Gone make it. Wow. Thanks!
Looks delicious and easy, I have to try it.
Omg I’m running to the market now!!!! definitely gonna make this for Mother’s Day !
Mango float turned fancy! Love it!
Awesome 👍😎 thank you for this recipe...will be making this for Christmas 🎄🎄🎄 Day 🙂 as part of my dessert spread here in Australia. My family does croissant 🥐🥐🥐 for breakfast with fresh ham and cheese...fresh juice...then pressies....when the lunch meal is ready, we eat that...by then we are so full...so our dinner is leftovers and a beautiful array of homemade desserts...on of which will be your gorgeous dessert. Merry Christmas 🎄🎄🎄 everyone!!!
As a Filipino, this was the first dessert I learned to make. It's so easy and delicious.

And I know this will be amazing!
Wow look delicious I love mango so much and definitely I will to do, thanks for your sharing 😘👍
I’ve noticed that Pailin has entered her quick recipes phase since she became a mother 😂
Thank you for promoting our mango royal or mango float with graham biscuits. I also use brown butter but I normally avoided using too much butter with my cake or mango float or mango royal.
Very nicely demonstrated
I will try
Thank you for sharing this recipe, looks delicious 🤤🤤
Ilove mango pie. Thanks for sharing your recipe.
Thank you for the time stamps! Great recipe
Looks delicious! 😋 Can’t wait to try it! Have a nice Weekend and Happy Mother's Day! 💐🍰💝
i so enjoyed your presentation. It was so fun!
This looks sooo good! Only thing I would do is probably double the crust recipe because I really like thicker pie crusts☺️
Looks totally delicious. Yum
This is the most amazing recipe. The Mango Royale is so so good. Thank you for this recipe. My family loves it!
Making this today for myself as a mothers day treat❤
Just did it this week! It was delicious! Guest were really glad to enjoy it.
However I froze it overnight and then put it in the fridge for 8 hours before serving and it was too soft. We put it back in the freezer for 1hour and it had a better structure. So I will try the bringing it out from the freezer 1hour before serving option’ may be the best!
Looks delicious, thank you for sharing..
I love your presentation. And your sense of humour!
I can't believe how easy this dessert is and how luxurious and tasty it looks 😮 😍
That's the magic of it :)
