    Hi, great video. Please can you post the equation to calculate velocity pressure? And how can I calculate flow with velocity pressure? please.

    Important to note you can not average the velocity pressures, you must convert each to velocity and than get the average.
    Additionally, this is 2014, the magnahelic is outdated around 15-years ago. The digital manometer's are cheap and accurate.

      We use several different Digital Micro Manometers during our practical lessons. The point of using a Magnahelic, or any other basic instrument, is to introduce a student to the basic understanding of Velocity Pressure and the conversion of VP to a Velocity. That understanding would be lost if a student took 30 readings and just displayed an "Average Velocity from a digital instrument".
