Hi, thank you for your review. I've also been a Pixel fan, having owned a Pixel 2XL and 4XL and now have the 6 Pro. However I've got to say that I've been disappointed with the Selfie camera - especially in low light (and even during daylight but in dim lighting situations such as indoors). The photos seem very oil painting like and smudged - a bit like how Samsung's were a few years back. The video selfie is also not great and comes out very grainy even during video calls. I would say the Pixel 4XL has better pics in that respect. Also when I look back at pics taken with my Pixel 2XL I don't notice much of an improvement in pics generally. Also disappointed in the blur accuracy in portrait mode.
I hope you had fun with your Pixel 6! Looks very very very nice and so far I'd say its better than Pixel 4. Cinematic looked very nice and video in general looks so good. Pixel 6 your favourite Pixel phone? Audio sounded a bit better than Pixel 4 which is good. Shots look better in day time. Amsterdam looks a beautiful city in Pixel 6. I'm a Huawei fan as I just love their phones for astrophotography and I've been impressed with Huawei p40 for astrophotography as I do think p40 is better than Huawei p30pro in low light being newer phone. When I get Huawei p40pro I'll test it for astrophotography and I'd say Huawei p20 is better than p20pro. Pixel 4 lately I've done astrophotography and noticed a little short time lapse video of the stars at night which i really like. Would you say Pixel 6 is better than Pixel 4? Pixel 4 now is alot cheaper now but its nightlight is so good. I'll be so interested in Pixel 6 for astrophotography as long as well away from city lights. Time lapse would be great in 4k. At night Pixel 6 did well and some shots looked better than others. Pixel 6 is still new and has alot to other and being premium shows Google is taking the Pixel seriously now which is great! Very enjoyable video!
Thanks so much, I love the Pixel 6. Than again I also loved the Pixel 4 but the battery is the one thing I really can't get behind because it really isn't good. Gonna try the astro mode when I'm away from the city for sure, curious to see what that will do and if there is much difference between the Pixel 4 and the Pixel 6
