We are at day 21 of the switching to Android challenge! Tbh this video was quite challenging to film due to windy weather but we managed to get there! I really like the Google Pixel 6 and I think it's my favourite so far... Enjoy the movie :)
FYI, you should also mention that the Pixel 6 is at the end of life and that it won't be getting any more OS updates. Android 15 is the last one. The apps however will still be updated and will still get security updates for a few more years. That's said, I like my Pixel 6, so I won't be getting a new phone till that happens.
P6 user here and so far using this phone is pretty amazing for me. after the android 15 update, it just make it feels smoother, aside from the minor bugs.
Indeed. I'd say the phone is still sweet even to this day. I never experienced any lags. I love the visor design and the rather boxy appearance is what keeps me to the phone. I don't like the Pixel 9 design since it is too iPhone-ish and I do not like roundy corners. With the added two more years of update and extended security updates, I am keeping this phone for a very long time.
What bugs are you experiencing? The still. I understand when the pixel 6 was brand new it was full of bugs. I now have an 8 pro and Pixel 6 still and the bugs are gone

Tbh I prefer Android 15 on the Pixel, I have both phones, the telephoto on the s21fe is kinda trash, and the main cameras on the pixel is better. But performance and the better screen on the s21fe is noticeably better

Light gaming should do you fine but anything intensive get a Samsung. The S10-S21 range can be found for super cheap or get the S23/S24 if you can get a good deal on them.

Unfortunately the worst phone I've used in recent times. Very surprised at how poor this phone performed and the amount of bugs not addressed for about a year. Also the quick depreciation in value.
@ Things that couldn’t be fixed due to Tensor being a bag of crap: 1. Poor battery efficiency, couldn’t last through out the day without having to charge 2. Probably the slowest charging speeds, it made the iPhone look like SuperVOOC 3. Overheating when doing anything with cellular in hotter conditions, making the phone useless 4. Poor cell reception due to piss poor modem used, also resulting in poor battery life Things that were later fixed through updates after months of complaint: 1. Inconsistent Bluetooth connection, taking out my ear buds to talk to someone was the worst, because that mean that I’d have to manually reconnect 2. Auto brightness was broken, resulting in either max brightness in the dark or really dim when I needed to read something then a million years later finally adjusting 3. Piss poor finger print scanner, need I say more? 4. And just a lot of lags, freezes, and phone resets
I would say so. There's rumors of it receiving 5 years of updates instead of 3. But at your own risk though but Google's been dropping hints it'll get 16 and possibly 17. If you want to stay safe, the pixel 7 isn't that much higher

@serpentsage I never experience that issue on my P6. I also turned off 5G since the phone didn't have much coverage in my country.

I have had my P6 Pro for three years now and it has been excellent. And with it likely to receive Android 16 I'm in absolutely no hurry to replace it.
