    Hi Srinivas, thanks for sharing your modifications.
    On my int650 (your same model) I just added risers +4cm, from Zana motorcycle, in order to have a more vertical position during riding. Bye

    • @SrinivasGanesh
      @SrinivasGanesh  Год назад

      Thank you for watching the video! :) I would most probably be going for the motone up and over risers for Interceptor 650. Those look really premium, plus I'm saving up for it too as they are quite expensive.

    Hi Srinivas, thanks for sharing your mods with good detail. Quick correction on handlebar diameter - should be 7/8" and not 0.8".
    Have you considered swapping the BS3-type switches for new rotary ones? Or any reasons that dissuade you from doing that?

    • @SrinivasGanesh
      @SrinivasGanesh  3 месяца назад

      Thank you for the information. ✌🏽
      No I have not tried to add rotary switches for two reasons
      1) It requires splicing cables to be able to install those, which is a no no for me, all my mods are bolt on fit. Even the turn signals that I have installed. (watch that video for more info)
      2) Rotary switches in my opinion are not ergonomically built. BS3 type switches are much more comfortable and practical to use.

    • @srinivaskirthy
      @srinivaskirthy 3 месяца назад +1

      @@SrinivasGanesh My thoughts as well. The pass switch placement on regular switch cubes + possibility of adding headlight off switch outweigh the aesthetics of the rotaries. On splicing cables - you can swap connectors from older to compatible holders. But that's besides the point.

    Fitted the black bars with Motone risers yesterday. The setup is now perfect!
    One thing though - newer ones are not hollow at the ends and come with threads at the ends (similar to the isolator like what you saw on the Interceptor bars). The threads are larger than the Interceptor's, so the stock bar end weights don't fit.

      That braided brake line comes as standard. The feel of the brake is good and has a good bite to it. You do get to feel that behind the handlebars. :)

    • @SrinivasGanesh
      @SrinivasGanesh  Год назад +1

      Thank you for watching the video! :) They add style factor to it. Just a different way of mounting mirrors. However, my reason for changing them was, because I am tall, I often see my own shoulders and they sort of hindered the view behind. But, yes nothing more in terms of functionality. The bar end mirrors from Royal Enfield do come at a steep price, but so does the touring version of the mirrors.

      Well, it's an air cooled engine, sadly that is just the way the heat dissipates. I guess I was used to it given the fact that I used to Ride a Harley Fat boy before this, so I'm used to it. But I ride with good riding gear, so I barely feel anything, unless I am standing under the midday sun, and that too stuck in a traffic jam, then surely I would melt. Or anyone for that matter. But yes, I'll do some research and make one video for sure.

    If you are considering buying quadlock for 13.5k(Mount) + 4.5K (Dampener) + case, you should consider cheaper mount and a cheaper phone for the same price or even less price and save your good costlier phone form harsh hot weather of india. and also it is good for your battery life in long run. just saying...
