I actually just put this in my window and its performs and the picture looks better than the Battery Doorbell Pro. So far I haven’t missed any motion and the colors are spot on compared to the pro at night. For window set up I disabled night vision and put a piece of black tape over the blue light
Hey sorry, I'm not familiar with that brand. I would instead recommend the eufy indoor cam here: ruclips.net/video/PLUAeljMqoc/видео.html because there's no monthly fees and it has automatic panning and tilting.

I looked on Google for indoor security camera comparisons, and I noticed that SimpliSafe wasn't even listed among them in most cases! As a matter of fact, the Eufy S220 and the S350 were indicated as the best choices among all of the ones listed (or tested) and there's no monitoring fee as you indicated, but I think there might have been an optional subscription offered for Cloud storage. Anyway, the Eufy S350 has much better video quality than the indoor Ring cameras and it has that slot for an SD card as well! So I think I'm going to buy two Eufy S350 indoor cameras as well. I live in an apartment so there's less monitoring needed in my case! By the way, Adrian, I gave a thumbs-up on both videos and I subscribed to your RUclips channel as well!
This camera cannot pan and tilt automatically, but you can set more than one motion zone so you'll see an app alert showing if motion was detection in zone 1 or zone 2, etc.
@@GoodcitizenCA Just a slight wider field of view is the most important change I think, but yea, it's a huge miss to not give this automatic pan and tilt functionality.
for me i actually prefer rings design but eufys features are better and they have better quality and no subscriptions but ring works with all ring products such as if you had a ring alarm it could set off the siren and start recording plus i don’t really trust Eufy so

Can I connect this to my computer via wifi or bluetooth, and use it as a webcam, without adding it to my Ring alarm system?
I didn't try that, but I doubt it would work because they likely don't have drivers for it to operate that way.
Unfortunately I didn't see how the multiple areas can be set so we can utilize pan and tilt

So basically nothing new. I've always set multiple zones. I was hoping the camera would patrol areas while panning and tinting periodically

100% agree. The Eufy camera also has better video quality, features and no monthly fees to use it fully.
