This was my first Dead show..... AMAZING memories....
They always seemed to play very well and soulful in Colorado. I was at over fifty shows and I still wish I had gone to more. I love the Grateful Dead.
It came very close to becoming their second home. They almost moved there operation there.
Video game I never heard that before but I do know they loved it there ! The weather was good for them !
I personally just grab the 1st show that pops up on my u tube & play it.who cares about set list or reviews

My town shuts down around 9/10 pm unless they r at the bar ! Only one here that’s open most nites except Mondays !

Both the Stagger Lee and To Lay Me Down were amazing, with Garcia digging deep and belting them out with unquestioned authority.

Whoa. Back up. Listen to Peggy-O again and watch it. Very well played. As was shakedown. As was let it grow as was everything else. Garcia playing very well as per usual. I am in love with that Foolish cause it goes round again. and that to lay me down is stunning- a real testament to love. Peace!
In the low single digits in Shakedown before show. F'ing Brutal, but Hot as a firecracker inside.

I never got that far but a friend of mine went there to live with a guy for awhile & he did love her but she missed Maine & had a son here !
I never made it that far but they did pay for me + my niece to come to Sanfrancisco ! Plus we were in Jamaica with them but got there 2 hours before them but they were a little upset with the fact we wouldn’t go with them on their jet ! Just randomly put on this video last night without looking at the set list or reviews. I was blown away. There is nothing average about this show. One of the best of the 90s. Jerry is completely f-ing dialed in. Doesn’t take a single song off. Powerful, purposeful, perfectly timed shredding all over the place.
And the set list! Big, fat Shakedown, Picasso opener; To Lay Me Down, Let it Grow to close the first set???!!! With four more great tunes packed in between- Seriously? Monster first set led me to think it might be a bare bones second but they roll out 8 more tightly played tunes before one of the better Knockin’ encores you’ll see. Just tremendous energy and focus throughout. When these guys were on they were just ridiculous.

And make sure you play Let it Grow as Fast as Jerry can lead and Bobby can sing. Love it Jerrys Gonna Hog The Show!!!! Hey Bobby look how fast you can play follow and sing. sorry you guys gotta speed up the stuff your putting out there. Look at Phil 80 and fast as a whip.

Freaking cold in Denver! Big shock coming out from the dry heat of Temep, AZ earlier in the week for their two night run. I got into the 1st and 2nd night of this run and it's great to finally hear how they finished up the Dark Star! It was just as potent as the first half on the first night. Amazing southwest tour before Christmas!
