  • On these pieces which were cut out of 10 gauge mild steel, I maxed out the travel speed on the CrossFire. The first piece was cut at 275 inches per minute, the second piece was cut at 300 inches per minute, and the last piece was cut at 250 inches per minute.     Nice work, what cad and cam software are you using? I am currently trialing fusion360, but hear a lot of people are using sheetcam.....thoughts?

      Yes, I use Fusion 360 for Cad and toolpathing (CAM). We have a subscription, so all the limitations they are placing on the free version don't affect us. I've never used SheetCam because it seemed unintuitive and somewhat complex. Furthermore, my workflow all happens within the same app this way; no exporting and importing and exporting. Usually if it's a small bracket with several holes, I can draw and tool path and cut it in under 5 minutes...
