Congratulations on getting the most up-close shot of Tom Burleigh so far (I think). Granted it's from the back, but it still counts! :) What a fun, wet hunt. Maybe you could name the doll you build for the beautiful head Tom gave you Thomasina?

Sincerest condolences from a rebellious American on the loss of your beloved Queen Elizabeth II and God Save the new King Charles III.
Your finds were very nice and so varied. That is a beautiful river and the sound of the rushing water is so soothing. I live in New Bern, in eastern North Carolina; we have a very large, wide river [the Neuse], that comes to a confluence with the smaller Trent River. They're very brackish due to flowing into the salt water of the Atlantic Ocean so not anywhere near as clean or clear as the river you're wading in, plus there's water moccasins [aggressive and venomous snakes], bull sharks and alligators living in our rivers. I can't believe I used to swim in this river as a youngster in the 70s. 😉😉🥴😱🤣
Fleur, that boot charm looks an awful lot like a Monopoly game piece of days gone by. How you spotted it on the river bottom without the bucket is beyond my comprehension. Kate, the millefiore [?sp?] bead is gorgeous! Oscar is such a help with your larking adventures.

That was so fun, I really enjoyed that. Thank you so much for taking us along. I love the shoe charm and Tom's small bird best of all. I was wondering if the horse's head might work as a knight in your chess set. You said you had another one, if the size is right...?? Your gifts from Tom are wonderful, it was so kind of him. I think I like the small "plant pot" the most though, how perfect! ☺ It was so nice to see Oscar. He's grown so much; but just as adorable as ever. 😉 Thanks for another wonderful video.

Maybe you could make a mold of the head and make heads for all the headless soldiers you have. Also the horse’s head would look great made into a hobby horse.

Such a wonderful river/dump lark with Tom and Oscar along. The glass-bottomed buckets were genius! 😁 I hope you found enough pieces of that doll's head to completely rebuild it, Kate. 🥰 The boot charm & the millifiori bead were the stars, I think. Really, thought it was a video jam packed full of terrific finds - plus all of the gifts from Tom. Such a wonderful man. ❤ I was glad it was warm enough that Kate & Oscar weren't likely to suffer any ill effects from getting so wet. 😝😜 Or you, Fleur, with your one wet foot. 🤣🤣 I'm interested to know whether it was any more work editing this long video than your shorter ones. 🤔 It certainly was special for me, & everyone else, I suspect. 😁😍 See you next time. 😊👍

This has to be my favorite of your videos I have watched so far. Your family & friend are so delightful, warm & caring. Thanks for taking this Tennessee girl with you. Loved every minute of the river as much as I do the Little Pigeon River in Townsend, TN. It's connected to Our Great Smoky Mountains National Park. About 1hrs. Drive. I am new to mudlarking, but have always found heart shaped rocks randomly. I love old and tiny things & dolls. This is so therapeutic to watch after my son's passing 2yrs ago. This calls & comforts my heart, then Draws me back to the rivers & creeks we shared so many wonderful times in. You & "Northern Mudlarks" are such a blessing of comfort & friendship across the way. Sending light &love. Blessed Be.

Ahhh this was so much fun! I really, really enjoyed the river finding with the clear bottomed bucket. Oscar seemed in his element with that larking technique. Today we were kayaking in our Tucktecs on a river here in Nova Scotia and I saw an old, well…not the sort of old you find, hahaha, but like 30 years 😂 old, broken, metal teapot down the side of the embankment by the river and I quite happily, messily larked about larking and took it home with me to put a plant in. 💚🌱💚

Is that metal flower the rose of Lancashire? Things looked magnified through that bucket. Awesome!

Possibly my favourite video of yours ever. Being in the river, plentiful small finds, Oscar was back, Tom supplied the location and opening comments, the word "wellies" is used many times which is a much cuter word than our "rubber boots" , etc . 💙

Wonderful video. Absolutely love the shoe charm. The air gun pellet could be used for a bedpost knob for the doll house.

I would've used the inkwell as an outdoor planter for my dollhouse. So pretty. This whole video was one of the best.

Cast the shoe, so you have it to wear.
The square clear ink well would make a excellent fish pond for doll house garden.
