Super, thanks! I ❤❤❤ Switzerland and her railways, they are some of the best in the world! Better working conditions of the locomotive driver, especially dream for a resident from ex-USSR 🙂 Sorry, wrote with a google-translator )
Ah man, I can't believe I missed this the day it came out. Oh well, glad I went back and looked. Excellent view of Switzerland. I'm headed there this August. This view really gets me amped for the trip. Thanks -Henry
@@lorirocks777 That's actually great to know. We have some flexibility. We were planning on arrive on the 1st but maybe we'll plan to get there a day early. Thanks! -Henry
In the beginning of the video it was seen how was one person , This person probably saw the train but he'll never know that I saw him ! I'll never know who this man is and he'll never know what I thought of him !
That's a very pleasant ride in the early stages, rather reminiscent of running alongside the Rhine. Rail Adventure Re 4/4 at 9:30 wasn't it, delivering some new Dosto carriages
Two BLS Re 465 and a BLS Re 4/4 (Re 425 as they're now called) triple-heading a tank train at 7:04, all with pantographs up; can they work in multiple then?
Yes. The BLS Re 465 can be combined with just about anything - Ae 8/8, Ae 4/4, Re 4/4 (BLS cable), Re 6/6, Re 420, 421, 430, 446, Rbe 540, RBDe 560 (SBB IIID cable), Re 460 (EP cable) and the modernised ones with all new locomotives at the loss of the old ones.
What a neat little run this is, it highlights the effectiveness of the Swiss railborne distribution network - every now and then I see discussion about a bypass for Ligerz, have they settled on a solution yet? Thanks for all these wonderful trips \m/
Another interesting video. Another piece in the Swiss rail network visited. I now know where all those trains carrying vans go to. The loco we slowed for before the single track section I have seen before. Is it a rebuild from an accident? It seems to have a different buffer beam arrangement? Does it rescue passenger multiple units hence the different coupling arrangement? Is there any plan to double the single track section by the lake or is it adequate for the traffic load?
Glad you enjoyed it. The Re 6/6 you mentioned belongs to Rail Adeventure. I don't think they changed the buffers. They specialise in transporting rolling stock without standard couplers and use the boxcars as coupling converters. Yes, the single track section will be replaced by a double tracked tunnel within the next few years. It's good for capacity but the views will be missed and Ligerz will no longer be a station.
Nice, another fuel train run, on a line I hadn't seen before. Between you and Railway Emotions, we're slowly getting to see large parts of the Swiss standard-gauge network. All we need is someone who regularly drives in the French part of the country now :) What's the difference between an Re 420 and an Re 430? The line from Busswil to Solothurn must be one of the few closed railways in Switzerland. The only other one I can think of is the former line from Otelfingen to Niederglatt. Are there many others?
Thanks for your comment. The Re 430 has a different gear ratio, sacrificing speed for power (see wikipedia). There's a large list of small sections of line that have been abandoned here: de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liste_der_ehemaligen_Schweizer_Eisenbahnstrecken#SH
BTW, I've read good things about the Lumix Fz1000 and, there are a variety of "polarizing filters" on Amazon specifically for your model. If you don’t have one, you might give it try. It can all but eliminate "in cab" refection's and subdue glare significantly. Here's a link for one under $30 US: www.amazon.com/Sunpak-Polarizing-Filter-Panasonic-DMC-FZ1000/dp/B07FKT637Z/ref=sr_1_10?keywords=Lumix+Fz1000+polarizer&qid=1556890295&s=gateway&sr=8-10 Thanks again!
This is kind of a foggy ride, Yes? I some times wish I knew more germanic languages so I would know what is being said, I tried going to translation but sometimes what you hear isn't the way it is spelled, of course, I guess English is a germanic language but phonics doesn't always work for German, Swiss and Austrian. I like lorirocks777 best of all.
Congratulations!

A lovely cabride through the plush countryside of Switzerland. Couldn't have been more rainier then this.
Excelente video. Algo ruidosa la locomotora 😊. Saludos.
Ah, the tranquillity. I love this. Thanks!

32:00 Is that speed sign detecting the speed of the train? Interesting!!
Another enjoyable journey. Love the lush greenery. Thank you for this!

Thanks for the comment. You're going to love it! I hope you make the 1st of August (the national day). Huge bonfires and fireworks everywhere.

Rail Adventure Re 4/4 at 9:30 wasn't it, delivering some new Dosto carriages
It was a Re 6/6.
It's also possible to have an Re 6/6 at the front, Re 465 in the middle and Ae 8/8 at the back.
Der Mai ist gekommen und der Winter ist aus! Aber das Wetter ist nicht so schön wie erwartet.

I think building will commence either this year or next

A possible reason for the differing buffer beam arrangement could be due to the fact that its one of the 4 prototypes.
Nice triple at 7:03 and the other crossings
Die Weichen vorne und nach Ligerz sind da für die Sicherheit? Rot = abbiegen = auf die seite kommen?

I wish the operators would show themselves more, you never see them:)
15 tank for 1499t = 100t for tank wagon! It's not too much for axles?
1499 - 2 Locomotives = 1339. Max weight of a tankwagon with 4 axles is 90t.
Why don't you have the video posting date?

Thanks for the tip. The main issue is stabilisation at 4K, which is why I'm mostly limited to 1080p.
I see a way out to love each other just for being like each other! I wish you my distant friend good luck !!
