Another excelent video, thank you. When watching your videos I follow the route on 'Open railway map'. The quality of your video and information is brilliant. Well done and keep up your great work.👍
I just never get tired of a train ride in Switzerland ... great scenery, something entertaining along the way! But ... the quality of your video works just make it a real pleasure ... I can sit back, relax, enjoy the views, and you've done all the hard work of making it so nice! Thanks for sharing! Please keep them coming! [Greetings from Tucson]
@jimjindrick9875 Thank you very much for your compliments and for your support. It means a lot for me. It helps me to keep on with my work. Switzerland railways are just so well organised and the countryside is always a so tidy and beautiful. Greetings from Slovenia to Tuscon.
this was a great ride, especially the first half. travelling through the wide open rolling hills is very calming and peaceful. thanks as always for your presentation, sir.
Saw This Evening! Beautiful albeit short line on the Jura railways. There is another RUclipsr (Lorirocks777) who is mostly analyzing the Swiss territory with all the railway lines. Not even on purpose, through the Chur Arosa line, I thought I had seen his channel and instead it was yours, because some cabrides were made in the same period, without knowing it of course. But not this line! And it was a pleasure to learn about these lines. I also recommend the Jura line from Biel to Delemont and above, full of natural tunnels. Like Slovenia, Switzerland offers breathtaking scenery, views of the land, incredible trains and lots of incredible rolling stock. Another nice trip would be the route from Brig to Lausanne, traveling through the Rhone Valley. As always well done David!
@wladislaw79 Thank you very much. I loved the Jura railways, small, but very nice. The scenery is amazing. Switzerland is amazing, investing a lot in railway traffic. I love it. Yes, Lorirocks777 has shown all of us a lot of very nice cab rides. I admire his work.
Video bellissimo come sempre. Grazie.
@geoffhalstead1811 Glad you think so. many people prefer faster trains. I think that both are very interesting. Here you can see and enjoy the landscape.
Near perfect run in amazing lighting through exquisite landscape. Though this is narrow gauge track the layout of running clearance throughout has to be at least equal to standard running gauge because of the transport by piggyback roll on roll off wagons of standard wagons. Something other short narrow gauge railways in this region (Jura) also employ in this form and as individual axle wheeled bogie.
At 30:20 going through Saignelégier, apart from a few cars driving around, I can't see a single person out and about. And that seems like a decent size town and train station. It's like the apocalypse hit and everyone fled town.
I seriously enjoy watching your videos. Technically perfect, they often bring me into areas i would possibly never go myself. Now, let me ask you a question: How do you actually obtain the informtion about speed and elevation?
Thank you for such a great video of the Swiss meter gauge lines. Was wondering where you tend to place the camera on these videos. rarely hear any in cab sounds.
@rninrvr You are welcome. I put the camera on the outside, that is why there is no noise from the cab. Sometimes I place an extra microphone in the cab.
@vincenzocanta9783 for me it was the first time in Switzerland that I saw the train running on the roads. Actually the first time was in Tirano, the Bernina railway...
Judging by the number of passengers where the train do stop, I'd say the train might skip some other the stations on the route, too...🙂. True also that it's an early morning train.

@pierrenoir8823 It was very early in the morning.
@@RailRelaxation Ah, d'accord, merci !
taking into account te position of the Sun/ lenght of the shadows and general direction of the line (SW to NE) should be right after dawn.

Solo in Svizzera, e nelle immediate adiacenze, i treni circolano sulla pubblica strada, come fossero tram!

Min. 53.44 but the rail switch is not positioned correctly.
