★ 4K 🇨🇭 Biel - La Chaux-de-Fonds - Le Locle cab ride [01.2021] Führerstandsmitfahrt

- In this video, we're looking at the line from 1874 between Biel and La Chaux-de-Fonds. From there we'll be following the line continuing to Le Locle as part of the line from Neuchâtel to La Chaux-de-Fonds completed in 1860 (see video: • ★ 4K 🇨🇭La Chaux-de-Fon... ). While the line to Neuchâtel was being renewed, regional trains services from Biel were extended from La Chaux-de-Fonds to Le Locle. Our video is of one such train, albeit in another season from La Chaux-de-Fonds onwards.
Before the opening of the Grenchenberg line in 1915, that we've looked at previously (link: • ★ 4K 🇨🇭Tilt train Biel... ), this line served as the international connection between Biel - Moutier - Delémont - Delle - Belfort. Afterwards, it was downgraded to a branch line.
Enjoy the scenery as we climb close to 600 metres on our journey through the Jura mountains towards the French border.

What a great snowy wintery ride. The scenery is made more beautiful with the snow on the grounds. Seeing the smaller towns was also enhanced with the snow. Thanks for showing me a part of the gorgeous world that I will never see in reality.

La Chaux de Fonds, like Le Locle, are watchmaking towns located in the French-speaking Swiss Jura, at an altitude of 1,000 m.
Le Locle is on the French border. The railway line (not electrified) continues to Morteau (and its famous wood-smoked sausages) then Besançon.
I am very pleased with the way people greet the train driver. My heart in this moment feels warm and good. Thank you for your work.

Jamais je ne me lasserais du réseau ferré suisse...Que ce soit en été, printemps, automne ou hiver, on ne peut qu'être abalobé par ses paysages traversés par cette multitude de voies uniques en leur genre.
Vous pouvez filmer maintes et maintes fois les mêmes trajets, ceux-ci seront toujours différents.
Là, il s'agit de la traversée du nuage de brume avec le soleil que l'on devine prendre le dessus d'ici peu... Magnifique 👌

I notice there is no warning horn when you approach an intersection. Are they prohibited there?
They're only used when there are no barriers or gates. In Switzerland the signals can only show green when the barriers are down. Some crossings are fitted with sensors that check that the area is clear of obstacles.

J'aimerais savoir la date, avec à peu près 15° d'angle solaire pour 10h10GMT +1 c'est pas loin du solstice d'hiver, mais peu d'indices pour préciser, il y a de la neige, pour savoir quand se situe les périodes de neige (je pense ici décembre, sans déterminer l'année). Un paysage est un fait d'actualité et non horodaté c'est juste un paysage sans plus d'information et sans lien avec d'autres documents d'une époque voisine. Je le répète (désespérément) à toute chaîne présentant des paysages, car je recherche à situer les paysages dans le temps pour en décrypter l'ambiance et le climat d'une région et la relier à d'autres doccuments, la date est l'info connexe la plus importante. Une vidéo de la région Macon Lyon, tournée le 11 mars 2023 était très intéressante une fois la date connue car c'était les prémices du printemps sur des arbres en fleurs plutôt rares qui ne sont pas visibles de la webcam du Mâcon
