We actually bought this very mower a couple of months ago based upon one of your previous reviews; thank you! We have ten acres of relatively flat land; three of which are wooded, so we really only mow seven-ish. We've mowed twice and this weekend will make our third. We love it! Simple to use, easy to clean, and gets the job done quickly. Like you, we're fans of Kawasaki and Honda engines, so opted for the Kawasaki 60' deck. Granted, it's new and we're in the honeymoon phase, but we feel we made a wise purchase. Thank you again for such great content that's always objective.
Sounds like a bargain. Very similar specs to my (Green) Bobcat CRZ61 Kawasaki FR691 / ZT 2800 I bought back in 2018. Mine was $5,125 with tax. I mow between 4-6 acres a week. No issues with the exception of a deck belt about every 75 hours and an ignition coil (pressure washer might have done it in).
Delivered a nice even cut, has the super tight turning ability ruclips.net/user/postUgkx1VWTrayKBdCKAjzAcZ_Eg4dhHTae3LkN also recommend I was looking for, and is just a blast to drive. It takes a little bit to get used to driving one after driving a normal tractor style, but once you've got it, you've got it. If you're cutting lines, you have to be careful spinning the mower around or the back tire will dig a bare spot. Just take it nice and slow during the turn and then it's back to full throttle across the yard!
Took the liberty of looking at the BadBoy ZT elite super mower unfortunately the dealership in my area is far too small and too far away wound up going with a Ferris IS 600Z. BadBoy needs a better dealership network
I like the air filtering system on the Briggs but can't find any information on how these new CXI engines are holding up. Being a dealer, have you seen any issues with these new engines?
As a residential mower, it seems to have acceptable stats for the trans and engine. I would like it better if it had taller tires like 22", but then it might need the zt3100 trans.
an issue for me is the zert fitting on bottom rear pulley is difficult to get to. also when backing up the steering bars hit my belly the seat is all the way back. so far thats it. elite 60in. 2022.
A friend of mine bought one. It broke down and had to go into the shop for repair ... it's been sitting in the shop FOR OVER A YEAR ... they can't get the parts to repair it! :/ :(
Here’s my problem Nobody talked about 3 to 5 years review The Kawasaki motor doesn’t last Blew up mine with less than 100hrs Kawasaki doesn’t care and your stuck with a great mower that doesn’t work
I've owned tractors with Kawasaki motors with no issues for over 25 years. Others I'm sure are fine but I trust what has worked for me. Inciderently I just bought a Hustler with 54 in deck, kawasaki, 2800 trans, prefab deck....did look at Avenger but not available and was a few bucks more.
@@JJ-qd9fx I get your point but the newer engines don’t last like the old ones I don’t care if it’s a Briggs,Honda ,Koehler whatever My personal mower had less than 100hrs on it Probably something wrong from the start Doesn’t really matter Kawasaki doesn’t stand behind their product Now have to buy another mower or replace or rebuild this onmyself
Kawasaki and Koehler have intake issues unless you buy there commercial engines Not available in home owners versions They both are throw away engines and screw the home owner Just happened to me
Buyer be ware If you don’t use Kawasaki filters your warranty is out the window Just got screwed by them cause I used Napa filters Kawasaki sucks and can care less Just lost 4.5 k and Kawasaki could care less Don’t buy anything with a Kawasaki Total junk and don’t care
