  • In this video we go in-depth on the ZT Elite zero turn lawn mower by Bad Boy. This mower is one of the best options you can get in the $5000 - $6000 price range. Both residential and commercial users will find that the ZT Elite can meet the demands of a wide range of properties. Ranging from less than an acre, all the way up to 4 acres. What makes this zero turn mower better than less expensive Bad Boy mowers is the front suspension, wide cutting deck, and entry level commercial grade components.

I just bought mine two weeks ago with the Kawasaki engine and 54" deck. I'm loving it so far.

I bought mine about a month ago now with the Kohler and 60 inch deck. The seven gauge deck and 3100 drives for that price were the biggest reasons. It would be nice if it had the reservoirs for the drives, but in all reality since it doesn't cycle the fluid through them the only real advantages to having them is if there is a leak, and to make servicing a bit easier. I almost bought a Toro from Lowes at first, but my brother made me paranoid and I decided to start doing some research. After visiting a few other dealers and many hours online later I decided the Bad Boy has the best specs for the money. You won't go wrong buying one.

I just bought the same machine. My local dealer said they deleted the reservoirs because customers would overfill the oil, then it would expand and leak out, causing a lot of warranty claims from customer error. I like the fact you can change the transmission oil and filter and of course that insanely heavy duty deck. Never really drove a zero-turn before and managed to cut 3.5 acres with a few trees in just over 2 hours.

@@drozcompany4132 That's pretty insane about the reservoirs and I can totally see it happening!!! I think I'm at around 2 acres, with quite a few trees and obstacles... just under 1.5 hours so far.

I bought mine in the beginning of 2022. I have the kohler 747 26hp pro, with the 60" deck. I love it super nice cut on 1-1/2 acre lot.

For the home owner this is the perfect mower for 1-2 acres. The Briggs CXI is sneaky good since they did some good upgrades over the old commercial grade. This is now at the top of my list.

I have this mower with a 60" deck and Kawasaki engine. I cut 2.5 acres once a week, going on 4th yr. It's been a great mower cuts fast.

What's your definition of low hours? Considering most commercial grade mowers start around $10,000 I'd be hesitant to buy something for $2500 with low hours.

1200 hours is about where I draw the line. Just picked up a 60in exmark Lazer Z with 1100 hrs for $2600 off marketplace. My main one got a new engine at 2646 hrs so a ways to go.

Almost all zero turn belts look like that when in use, it may need the tensioner tightened a bit but it ain’t bad

Good eye. It’s because you’re watching it up close with good lighting. If you were looking at it in person you wouldn’t catch as much detail. There’s nothing wrong with the mower.
