Also if i unlock a trait then I can’t pull it again that would make sense why I spent an hour yesterday trying to get duplicates of herb 3 and unforgivable 3 lol bc I only ever need one copy. Surprised I didn’t pull an ancient magic 3 in all that time tho. I did get the focus version 3 but not regular damage one
quick top for selling gears, GO to THE MAGIC NEEP in Hogsmeade because he is outside and you dont have to open a door lol and the floo flames is relatively close.
Honestly if you're gonna sell your extra gear and you're playing on PS# then you should definitely do the "Mind your own Business" quest as once you finish, the NPC inside your shop will give extra money when selling (60>>66, 90>>99, 200>>220)
loot chests have been fixed now . when you go to open a chest first save the game then open the chest if its not a legendry just load the save and try again continue the same and a legendary will drop for you i have done it many times and it works .
Can't believe I never noticed the option to put up the hood on the robe😅 More importantly, this was really helpful. I wondered if the traits stacked and now that I know that they do, I'm excited to get home today and try some of these out. Thanks!

Here's my experience: You can get all of the upgrade materials except for the phoenix feathers from the store in Hogsmede. This is what I primarily did to get the graphorn material early. The best way to get gear is through the shop. There is a way to trick the game to refresh the store inventory on a reload which is significantly quicker than waiting 4-5 times. With x6 concentration traits, all orange gear with max stat for level 35, all fully upgraded except for the three that require phoenix feathers, I was killing all enemies on the first section of the map in a single hit with my spells except for trolls which are tanky. In southern part of the map, I was killing things in 2-3 spells. Technically my combo would kill them. I never used dark magic.
Excellent vid! It took me a while to figure out gear score for offense & defense were the end all be all. I thought level might matter but it doesn’t just highest score in either category.

I believe the special chest unidentified legendaries do level up with you, so you can save them for later. Unidentified items not in these chest don't follow your level, as you said.
Yup good point. The unidentified items work just like other gear. Their level and stats are determined when you open the chest, they’re just hidden until you go use the desk of description. So yes, you can leave some legendary chests to loot higher level gear later. The hedge mazes are good ones to save since they’re easy to go back to.

At what point should I start investing in the good traits for gear? I'm level 25 and it still feel I change gear too often to potentially waste resources. What level should I be or what level my gear should be before I start putting traits in them? The T3 ones anyways. Great video!

I really don’t get it. Every gear I find, sometimes says like +30 or +10 Defence points or so but at the same time, I’ll lose some offence points. So I’m stuck at lebelong up my gear at 300+ because if I find cloths which give me more Defence points I loose offence point. I really don’t get it. 🤔

I've been doing a different talent/trait emphasis for each house playthrough. First was plants, second dark arts & spell slinging, third (current) ancient magic. What should my fourth be? 🤔 No gear traits for potions, sadly.
There is nothing ‘Legendary’ about Legendary gear since all gear has just one stat. Ideally they should make gear with one, two or three stat bonuses based on color. Green is one stat Iike damage or defense. Blue would have damage or defense plus an additional stat boost like say for a spell boost. And Legendary would have base damage or defense plus two spell boosts. That way owning legendary gear is actually worthy of the name. (And they should look the coolest to wear too.) And they also need to add a trunk for storage in your dorm room. That would solve two problems - lack of storage and give you a reason to revisit your house room regularly, which currently in the game there is no reason to visit the house room.
Is it just my luck, or do hats have lower stats than everything else? I’m level 38, so it appears my clothing maxes out at 108. But hats… I haven’t been able to get higher than 101, and that’s a level 39 hat I can’t wear yet. Am I just really unlucky or do hats have a lower chance of being max stats? Just seems odd that everything I have is 108 and my hat is like 93 lol
Yeah as @Paris Teta said, you’ll have to get a little further along to the point where you can explore the open world. Then you’ll be able to find ancient magic hotspots around the map, which will increase your ancient magic meter.
I tried using death seekers shadow bow in Horizon but the whisker things didn’t appear and the arrow didn’t glow blue and make that sound… can you explain that? Maybe in a video?
So the whiskers and blue glow only happen when you’re able to overdraw, and you have to upgrade the bow at least 1 level before you’re able to overdraw. I’m guessing you haven’t upgraded the bow yet.

Well there’s 20 total and you need all 20 to get all 5 bars.

since the chests are one and done, does that mean if you clear everything, you'll eventually get them all?
Wait there ain’t no trait for Glacius? I like using the ice spell and then shattering my enemies with a fire/explosive spell

You have to progress to a certain point in the main quest, before the activity unlocks to increase it.
Yeah as @Paris Teta said, you’ll have to get a little further along to the point where you can explore the open world. Then you’ll be able to find ancient magic hotspots around the map, which will increase your ancient magic meter.
