Molly, your video was NOT ramble-y! I really enjoyed it. I feel like it has a nice mix of views of nature, little towns and conversation with a sprinkle of van-life real talk in the mix. I appreciate a natural and not over the top super deep or super glossy travel video. (You know the ones I mean. Lovely to look at but just so overly produced.) For me you are a real person on a van camping trip and I love it 💕
Such a good vlog! Showing the reality of being in a van… often great, sometimes cold or hard to find somewhere to stay. Thanks for a good representation of real life! x
I really enjoyed your reality of vanlife. And the places you took us along too, Skye is just stunning. We visit often too. I also want to thank you for getting me into reading! It’s not something (reading fiction) I have ever done before but now at the ripe old age of 41 I have just finished my first actual book!! X
Hi molly what your doing is keeping it real.i realy love seeing what your getting up to.all your walks and places to see and go too.your book talks to and of course love seeing skete getting out and about on your adventures together x
Molly, I enjoy all your videos. You have a way of making it seem like you are talking directly to your viewers as a chat between two friends. I'm somewhat embarrassed to admit that I occasionally answer back out loud.
I always enjoy all your videos seeing what your up to and also around Scotland. I’ve never traveled anywhere so I welcome your videos and love seeing in the little shops. Thank you ❤
Hi Molly thanks for taking us along to your amazing adventures very beautiful an relaxing it must be,l love goin for long drives usually l end up in the country life so beautiful going to the coast area this weekend for a Halloween party should be fun,😊❤❤❤❤
I went to the Isle of Skye years ago before it became so popular it is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to, just breathtaking, and you’re most definitely govened by the weather. Thank you so much for taking us with you ❤
Dear Molly, I wanted to tell you how much your vlogs have helped me. I was stuck in a phase of trying to navigate my life by reading only psychology books. Whilst that has helped immensely, I now realise that it's time to move on and start living my life. I love your book recommendations. I'm reading Wintering atm and loving it. I love your idea of reading seasonally. Alongside Wintering I'm reading Wren Jones Practical Potions and Premeditated Murder which I'm also loving. So thank you, you influenced a shift most neeeded in my life. Forever grateful! ❤
I loved this video. We were in (on?) Skye possibly at the same time as you and the weather was not the best! We stayed just north of Uig so passed through it quite a few times and not sure how to pronounce it either 😂 we did the Rubha Hunish walk and it was beautiful, we didn’t go to the ‘lookout’ building but down the cliffs to the peninsular. One for your list for next time. Also, I definitely agree with the recommendation for The Vanishing of Audrey Wilde. Thanks for the vlogs 😊
Beautiful scenery in this Isle of Skye Travel vlog Molly and love 🥰 it. Always good to see your dog 🐕 Skye looking cute. Love 💖 Molly & ❤ Skye (the dog 🐕).
One word for you THERMALS!!! 😆 We were in Yorkshire 2 weeks ago and it was down to 3. Freezing in the night and we forgot our heater. We have a low wattage blow heater and a solar panel. We set it at 17 and it kicks in automatically. Remote control means we can turn it up in the morning without moving. Diesel heater was too noisy for us. We're still learning too after nearly 2 yrs you'll get there. Great video and new sub here 👋
I am the same in my van, sometimes I feel a bit aimless. In Skye I’ve found some of the smaller hills (marilyns) have been excellent walks with no people on them but views for days! I too avoid the honeypot sites.
So lovely to see Skye Batiks - haven’t been to Skye for years. Have a wonderful batik wraparound skirt from there that I bought about 30 years ago 😮 and it’s still looking good.
Molly you and Skye did it and that is the main thing. Each time I have been to the island Skye the weather does tend to dominate everything in a big way. Finding quiet walks is not always easy. Maybe one of those artic sleeping bags that also have a hood would keep you warm and cosy at night. Thank you for taking us along it was so peaceful and such lovely scenery to see.
I enjoyed the video as usual. Thank you for sharing!! I love Skye and really hope to go back soon. So beautiful! I'm doing my first overnight minivan camping next weekend - staying at my friends' place. They live pretty rugged, so I figured it was a perfect time to test out van life. I have a 4" memory foam mattress that I took tent camping a few weeks ago - It's a bit too large / wide, so I'm thinking of cutting it in half lengthwise (a saw?!), stacking the two halves on top of each other, and having a couch-size 8" memory foam mattress instead. 🤔 Well, anyway, thank you again for sharing. ❤
Hello Molly, thank you for your lovely videos! I enjoy each and every one of them. Just a tip from somebody who wildcamps a lot in cold weather, make sure to get a good sleeping bag (0 degrees comfort). A sleeping bag liner also does wonders for keeping you warm! Best wishes from Germany
If you have a ceramic vessel with sand in it, placed in a stable location with enough height above it so nothing burns, you could light a tea light or two, or other candles, and it might be enough heat to allow you to sleep again.
That looked like a real adventure Molly! And I appreciate the fact that you are so genuine in your videos. Also loved the sound of the howling wind, reminds me of my many trips to Dartmoor ❤
Hey Molly, what a lovely vlog! I loved to see glimpses of your van life. thank you for sharing different sides of it - it makes your content pure, relatable and more enjoyable. I loved to see some places I visited in Skye and new ones too (definitely want to go back :) ). On a totally different note - My mum and I went for a day trip to Aberfeldy! I had LOVED your video, so I wanted to experience this wee village for myself too. We went to the Birks of Aberfeldy for a lovely walk first (the colours were stunning!) and then we went to the watermills for lunch and, then of course, a bit of book shopping. Thank you for sharing unique and lovely places of Scotland x
Great vlog Molly, love to see your vanlife adventures. I haven't been to Skye for years, it's a beautiful place and I'd love to go again. Hope you have a lovely week 😊x
Hey Molly, I love these van life vlogs and I was only just wondering this week whether you'd be doing another one soon and he we are! I love feeling (as I'm sure a lot of us watching do) that we're right there with you (and Skye!) on these walks etc. I was out hiking yesterday nearby around Ercall and The Wrekin on a 10 mile hike and I couldn't believe how sunny and warm it was for the most part?! Def tee shirt weather for a while (especially as I was sweating profusely after some very steep inclines in my jacket)!
Love this!! And the views!!! Stunning!!! Would love to see a bit more on what you buy for food in the shops and any shopping you do (those shops I’d have to purchase something!!). I have to say you are such an inspiration bc you are so brave!!! I so admire you going solo!! I’m being very nosy, but does your partner not mind not going or do you just not film him? Thank you for taking us along on this cozy trip!!! ❤
Lovely video but be careful of hypothermia considering that fickle weather. Thank you for taking my mind off US election for a bit . Love from Tennessee.
Hi there! 🙂 I am curious if you ever encounter on your walks other dogs or animals. Romanian trails, especially the ones that are close to ship flocks (guarded by dogs) are particularly dangerous. Scotland is beautiful, by the way!
very peaceful...nature has taught us the meaning of humility....greetings from Indonesia

I was in broadford 😊 and those wee huts are so nice loads of good stuff
Loved the vid again, Molly! ❤ Really like your new clothing style as well! The pops of colour really suit your skin+haircolour 😊🎉
Aw thank you :)
Love the van vlogs. Nice to see different places

He doesn't mind me going on solo trips because the van would be a bit tight for two! We are planning some trips we can do together next year :)
Living the Skye life YT channel is in one of the glens on the Isle of Skye.
Love watching them!
🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂
Molly you need to get a Hazel stick or a shepherd's crook for all your walks. A stick helps enormously for balance and stability on uneven terrain.
I just made the connection between Skye's name and the Isle of Skye ... I think I've been watching your videos for a year now! Bit slow! 😅
Wow, same 😮
Haha yes, I wondered if this would confuse people!
😊😊
Lovely video but be careful of hypothermia considering that fickle weather. Thank you for taking my mind off US election for a bit . Love from Tennessee.
Hi, do you have covers for the windscreen and back windows so you have privacy? X
Yes I do :)
Hi there! 🙂 I am curious if you ever encounter on your walks other dogs or animals. Romanian trails, especially the ones that are close to ship flocks (guarded by dogs) are particularly dangerous. Scotland is beautiful, by the way!
The vanishing of Audrey Wilde by Eve Chase should be your next read. 🙂
Oh thank you for the recommendation!
Willie hears ya.
Wille don't care.
