I aspire to live this type of life, coming from a toxic family, all I have ever wanted was tranquility and peace of mind. I am working hard to save up enough money and to get out for the sake of my mental health. Pray for me 🙏 ❤ Edit: thank you for the kind responses, I also pray for everyone’s success 🤲💙
I truly wish you the best of luck in life and that you soon been able to save up to get out of that life situation ❤ I been in the same place, but thankfully i been getting away and now living far away from that toxicisity and in a different city and having a calm life 🙏 and soon you will to! Blessings and strength for you! 🤲❤️🤲
You can do this, you have a goal, you are focused. Everyone told me that I couldn't retire early and go and live near nature in Cornwall. I've been here for 8 years now, retired in my 50s. Ignore anyone who says you can't do it - they just couldn't do it!
Molly I do admire your independence 🌻it’s so important to get that balance in life when in a relationship xx you seem to have it just right ❤ just love Skye she’s an amazing companion for you 🍄
I REALLY admire your self-confidence and strength to do this travel, hiking, shopping, eating, and exploring alone!! I love to hike alone, but as I turned 47 I have started having big anxiety about feeling like I am going to die alone. I just don't "fit" with "normal" people, lol. I love my own space and am very independent but would love a partner to do the occasional thing with, have a deep connection with, do journeys with. I am starting to sound like a singles add, for heaven's sake. I just have never found it. Anyway, all this to say, I deeply admire you and your lifestyle! (Was also curious if you had gotten any opportunity to check out "The Historian"?, lol).
Another awesome video of the quiet life of Molly in beautiful Scotland with cute Skye 🐕. Have a lovely Sunday evening and week ahead. Love 🥰 the video and love 💗 Molly.
I went on holiday a few times in abernethy and stayed in a large house behind the golf area , it was so beautiful 2 mins to the nethy bridge and lots of beautiful walks , happy memories thank you ❤
Molly, this is my favourite of all the posts I’ve seen so far on your wonderful channel. You seem so incredibly at peace and so serene, which is very calming to watch. The connection you have with nature shines through in this video, and as for beautiful Skye…. 🐾, what a great life your girl has!
This was one of my favorite videos of yours. So inspiring, and a reminder to push myself too, after hunkering down so long. Have also been making granola again after seeing you make it recently! Your videos are such a kind and gentle reminder about self care. All my love to you Molly❤
Thank you for this beautiful video. I really enjoy these contemplative videos where you walk around in nature, it really moves me and inspires me to live this kind of life to which I've always aspired 🙏❤.
Thank you Molly for another lovely vlog it's great to see you out and about in your van! Skye was really very cute in this vlog, she is clearly a very intelligent dog too! I look forward to seeing where you go each week and make a mental note to try and visit some of these beautiful places too. Have a lovely week 😊x
I usually comment with my slow living autism channel, however I think I'm deleting that. Maybe. Anyway... I attempted to solo van camp a few weeks ago, but I made the mistake of attaching it to visiting friends. The social aspect caused me to freeze, and I was unable to drive away from my house. My longer solo tent camping trip a month or so ago was great, though. All in quiet seclusion with no social obligations whatsoever. I must plan a solo van trip like that ... something totally by myself, no visiting friends. A museum or something is fine, but no socializing. The minivan converted comfortably enough into a sleeper van, but I'd like to have the windows tinted dark for privacy. Great video! ❤
Gosh Molly what fantastic books! most certainly will go onto my list of books to read. I love mists and missed them this year as over in Moray the sun was determined to give clear skies and pale pretty skies since October. Even for my week away in the first week of November, such still days by the sea were accompanied by sun! Then today, well woke up to snow! Love this vlog, thank you! ❤
Loved this video. I read ‘Hermit’ when you recommended it. I really enjoyed it but was interested in her story and would have been happy for the whole book to have been just that.
All I can say is that you and me both have the same type of beautiful 🤩 puppy 🐶 dog 🐶 prayers and blessings to you and your family love your Aussie family friend John xxx
hi Molly! loved the footage of the bothy walk 😍have you read "Once There Were Wolves" by Charlotte McConaghy? this video/you remind of that book and would be curious to know your thoughts on it!
Hi Molly beautiful video great to head out to nature sooths the soul an beautiful Skye is loving it too besides being abit tired,It's a beautiful view where you went never been to Scotland before but l would love to oneday, Have an amazing week Molly and Skye ❤😊😊❤❤❤❤
Ahhh the weather looks perfect there at the moment. Autumn has been amazing this year. Was there last winter in the snow - magical. Doing the same winter trip to the Cairngorms this winter. Does that walk passed the bothy go further and into the mountains? Must check it out
I read Hermit with the same feelings too. Beautiful words about nature and how she saw things but was less invested in the other hermit stories. But thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Now fancy Chasing Fog 😊
I don't know if you read The Simple Things magazine? (Highly recommend!) There is an article in there about Laura Pashby, including some of her wonderful photography! I can't believe I've never heard of her before and now you've mentioned her as well, so twice in one month!
Oh I LOVE fog!!! I must have so much innate memory in my cells of my ancestry. I did my DNA with Ancestry, and I am mostly Scottish/Irish, German, Welsh (I keep wondering if this is why my birth mother always told me my grandma was born and raised in Holland...?). It is so interesting. My absolute dream is to live in a tiny cottage in the woods with a thatched roof and be surrounded by the beauty of nature and grow my garden and use my herbal medicine. Thank you for sharing!!
Hi Molly, I’m from Mexico, I was in Edinburgh last weekend, the weather was sooo cold for me! Every landscape that you share with us is absolutely beautiful, but i can’t imagine how cold it is! Anyway, I love your channel!
Thanks to your videos I'm going on a two week road trip around Scotland! Never been on a staycation (as in I'm from London), but you've really sold it to me !!

Same! I hope you can get out soon! ❤
Keep the faith and remember, "and this too shall pass."
Good luck ❤️🇨🇦

Ahh, the loveliness of the Scottish highlands and the graciousness of a thoughtful literary woman - great start to the week.
Aw thank you!
