    Hi Claire, beautiful video as always. I would please like your advice: Do you think this plant would do alright in a pot without holes if watered carefully? Any suggestions? Thanks a lot!

    I have this one as well and it’s doing nicely. I have it under a grow light.
    Have you ever laid the vines over soil? I’ve seen that done in other videos as a way to add to a pot that’s sparse. My vines aren’t really long enough to cut and try this yet but I’m curious…
    Thank you for sharing! 💜

      Hiya! Yes I've done that before - not as much with string of hearts but with lots of my other vine plants (I've spoken about it in my pothos care video). It's a really great method, I just love watching the roots grow in water 😆

    Hi, I've just noticed some of my top leaves are turning yellow and very brittle. The whole plant seems very leggy
    The plant is situated in the South facing window, hanging from the wall.
    Watering once a week.
    Any advice?.

      I'm new to this plant... just got one. But I've learned so much about plants from videos and I have several different plants now. I would say south is very hot sun. Maybe move the plant back a bit and see if that helps

    I watered mine today but I think I put too much water so they are super soggy now so help .. do I leave it to dry or leave it in the window to dry 🥴

      I’m nat just using my husbands RUclips xx

    • @TheJungleHaven
      @TheJungleHaven  2 года назад

      Hey Nat, overwatering only means watering when your plant isn't actually ready for a drink (so watering too frequently basically). If your plant's soil was dry and it was ready to be watered, then they soil should feel very damp at first. If you think you have overwatered however, to be on the safe side I'd suggest repotting 💚

      @@TheJungleHaven thank you for the advise. I normally don't over water my string of hearts. It got so long and I cut the long strands and plonked it on the same pot and felt it was bit dry and thought I put too much water as the soil was soggy but I checked this morning.. it looks ok so I will leave it and wont water them for a while to see what happens :)

    That was a very long dog walk!
    Is this advice similar for the whole “string of…” family? I have a small string of turtles that is so slow growing and tiny leafed. Cheers.

      Hahaha I know right! There are some slight alterations I'd make when it comes to other "string ofs..." however in a nutshell it tends to be fairly similar. I'll make some more specific videos on the others soon x
