Being A 90's kid was A spoiling experience with shows like X-Men, spiderman, power rangers and so many more. Wish we could all go back.

This show molded my tiny little brain in such a positive way. It helped me grow up to be accepting of people's of all colors, but mainly blue, lol, and anyone with disfigurement or mental issues and to give all people a shot based on their character, instead of appearance

I was always a huge Deadpool fan, and before the movie and increase in his popularity you didnt see him much in media, so seeing the episode where Morph morphed into Deadpool for a half second blew my mind lol
I grew up with X-men, Spiderman and Batman the animated series. Brilliant and iconic TV-Shows. X-men is my all time favourite.
X-men will always be my favorite. It was part of my childhood and up until now, I still watch the series. I am hoping for another X-men movie🙏

If you haven't already, you should make a video of all the non-Mutant characters that were in the show such as Ghost Rider, Punisher and Captain America. This was still a really fun watch!
This and batman were my after school must dos. Also didnt know Kang was in this show until a rewatch. Feels like I always find more stuff on a rewatch.
Still the greatest super hero cartoon to me JUST edging out Batman the animated series.... I had always loved the Xmen best and still do despite the awful films done on them so far (Logan aside) so hoping they get the Marvel Treatment and each of the main characters gets a movie or two for the public to digest them.
Batman is far more timeless.
X-men has a fondness in my heart but I gotta say watching it again was a hard sit.
I watched the animated series in the 90's... Own the series on DVD... And watch it on Disney+. I must say that the dialogue was ahead of it's time. I love watching it now more than ever as a 40 year old adult. What an incredible cartoon. The greatest superhero cartoon.

@@Heatlifer77 For ME Yes tho Id have that 3rd after Batman the Animated series and above the Avengers but again that is to Me as the Xmen remain my favorite Marvel "team."
What I loved about this series is the things they hinted at if you read the comics. Like when Jean reads Cable's mind you know that she finds out that Cable is the son of her and Cyclops and she says he is more important to our future then you know.
This and Batman TAS are the best animated shows ever
The whole “Bishop is from the future but Cable is from even further in the future” line was cool.
Wolverine, in this cartoon was my favorite character. Favorite quotes, Let's go, Bub. Sometimes, the claws slip.

This Rogue was far more impressive and ... umm... endowed ... than the Rogue in the X-Men movies. All around, this Rogue was awesome to be honest.

Yeah, I loved seeing them too. But, the video is about the bigger roles in the show, rather than quick cameos.
But yeah, I'm right there with ya. I want to see a video with a comprehensive list of every identifiable character on screen, mutant or other, speaking role or background character.
Some of the other quick glimpses that I recall off the top of my head were Stryfe, Rachel Summers Phoenix, Immortus, Ghost Rider, Punisher, War Machine, G.W. Bridge, Nick Fury, Garrison Kane & some other X-Force related characters, and Spider-Man's hand. lol

We had a embarrassment of riches on the cartoon front in the 90's. I loved X-men Silver Surfer, Beetlejuice, and so many more. Kids today don't know what a treat Saturday morning really was.

@@n.b.l.5709 nah the people working on it are very passionate about the xmen property as you can tell from some of their recent interviews so xmen 97 is most likely going to be an amazing show when it comes out later this year.

I love the X-Men and have seen multiple shows of them, including this one. There is a Marvel Anime show of them, plus Wolverine and the X-Men and another favorite of mine, X-Men Evolution. I'm making an X-Men story of my own which I hope to be a very unique one.

If/when this list is updated for X-Men '97, I'd recommend adding a mention of Moira MacTaggert, since she's now a mutant in the 616 universe. Who knows if her powers will be mentioned on the new show, but thought it worth mentioning. Great list and narration all around! :)

Thanks for the video but please check your facts/sources and be more concise/consistant with the edit (i.e. you should have grouped twins Northstar and Aurora, who share the same power set, like you did Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, who have vastly different powers.

I do remmeber back in thre early 90's it was from around burger king toys. They had all the xmen toys based off of the fox cartoon and remember having avalanche, alpha flight, puck, blob, wolverine, rogue, storm, and pyro. Brings back memories. loved all these unique characters. Wish we could have seen more of them, but the xmen universe was so vast and diverse; it seems nearly impossible to cover all of them. I am surprised that the xmen cartoon series didn't last longer.

Different series that was done by the same production company. This series was an indirect if not spiritual sequel to that series.

Your Nightcrawler entry was wrong. Mystique was disguised and put him in the basket herself so she wouldn’t be discovered. I don’t believe his father was ever mentioned again, so it is quite possible that he was the demon, thus explaining his powers and why he teleports through a demonic dimension.

The only thing i miss from disney plus
At 17:30, there's a clip of the X-Men in their older costumes and Jubilee is in there for some reason, but she clearly wasn't there for that, so weird.
@classicsagat Yeah that one was a weird shot. At first the "Original X-Men" appear to be kids in street clothes. With Jubilee, who shouldn't even be there in either shot, appearing older than Storm.
Then everyone else except gets older and dawn their original costumes. And Jubilee is just there in both shots, and the same age.
I miss having a great Cyclops. Not a flop like we do on movies

Not sure being obese should make one immune to lasers, but hey, mutants. I loved this show, but claiming all of them are Alpha level or Omega level takes away from the strength of the ones that truly are Omega level. I also don't recall so many mutants having telekinesis and telepathy, but that's probably just me. No matter what, the music of this show and the characters made this show so friggin awesome.

IT's my fave animated series ever. I can relate to being a "mutant" / an outcast. My fave characters are WOLVERINE, ROGUE (after she stole Ms. Marvel powers not before) & GAMBIT.

Mutant Levels make no sense. When you measure something in science you need to create a standard and control. If mutants have powers that are so vastly different from each other. There is no way you can quantify them. They become niche or situational at best. It really comes off as "That thing" that the author wanted to hype a character up, rather than anything that made sense canonically.
