I would often go back to sleeping because I wanted to go back to the dream that I was having. It sometimes works. One time when it worked, I said to the friend in my dream, ‘ I’m back. ‘
I recently moved overseas, I had to move away from all my friends and family. I once had a dream that I moved back. It felt so real that I cried when I woke up and realized it was fake.
i dreamt of getting an iphone and i knew it was a dream but i still hoped that it wasn't and i held on to the iphone and then when i woke up it was just a dream.
I usually wake up from dreams with a feeling of relief. Say I slapped my sister in the face in my dream, id wake up and say "Phew, just a dream. Dont have to apologize"
You know, I heard this story that the guy who build the coloured films for TV Actually had a dream in coloured and thats how he got the idea Idk 😅🤣 something of that such
I'm not sure, but I think that a déjà vu happens in a similar way in reality some time ago. But this time your brain is too slow to get new information and it just take the old, happend once before.
“We dream to solve problems” - This is one of the best explanations as to why we dream and I’ve experienced it quite a few times. I work in Technology sector. During peak working days I would come back home from work with some unsolved issues in my mind. I tend to think so much of it that I even dream about the problem in a weird and unrelated way. As a result of this I often wake up and find vague ideas hitting me randomly in the morning. I somehow remember them and returning back to the office, I apply those ideas to the unsolved problems and it actually works. Well this could totally be a coincidence but so many coincidences indicate towards a fair possibility of this theory being correct! Love Ted-ed videos ❤️
I get them on the weekend a lot. I got one where there was school next day but my self conscious was like "Yo yo yo, tomorrow is Saturday dude! Just remember this is a dream." then I think "god damnit how much longer is this? I wanna start ma weekend"
When you feel yourself falling in a dream, in the pit of your stomach, right before waking up. That feeling is so real. The fact that dreams can be inages as well as physical sensations is both amazing and terrifying.
For some reason, once something funny happened to me, and it was late at night and I was tired. And so when I woke up in the morning, I was about to say "Hey, wanna know something funny that happened in my dream?" but that thing happened in real life lol. For some reason, I remembered this after seeing your comment.
When I was 8 I noticed that my dreams were very different from those of my parents or other kids around me, so I started keeping a dream journal. 20 years later and I'm really thankful I did, because it's given me a lot of creative ideas and I've even learned how to re-visit my old dreams, though it doesn't feel the same. From taking a submarine through the planet, staring in a Disney musical that doesn't exist, or breaking out of a maximum security prison on an alien planet I've had a lot of adventures.
@@guandechoo6946 Believe it or not, your comment just inspired me to do that. I'll start with making a website and writing them there. Ill let you know when I put up the first one.
Do you guys ever dream about something and then it ACTUALLY happened in the real world after? Like, your mind is predicting the future and got it right
Yepp ,,, it happened with me i dreamed once that my friend is giving me sweets as she topped in her school , and same day in the evening she gave me chocolate for 1st position in school . 😋😋😋😋
Do you ever just "dream" before you go to sleep or like imagine something weird(or good)and create it into some kind of dream right before you go to sleep?
Yeah, it does have a name, that is usually used for lucid dreaming, pretty cool, recommended to imagine the scenario while trying to fall asleep or one hour before going to sleep
Sometimes I realize I was dreaming without doing anything, but most of the times I hold up four fingers, put it behind my back, and then look at it again. If it was a dream the number of fingers you're holding up will change. Works everytime
***** yeah, basically. I find the habit only settled in after I was able to constantly check my fingers about once every ten minutes without forgetting
I had lucid dreams numerous times. What i noticed is that i usually get those dreams after i woke up and went back to sleep(not immediately). Still with eyes closed, it keeps the dream sleep/dream state dominant. During this phase, try to think random thoughts. At the same time, allow your 'wake' state to slowly emerge. Then try to empty thoughts and go back to sleep. This isn't a method, im just stating my personal observations. The interesting thing is although i am aware i was dreaming, but i certainly wasn't myself. My thoughts were 'oh i am dreaming, this must be a dream, i can do whatever i want..', but my knowledge of my past/real world didn't occur to me, as if either it has lost its priority or my awareness severed the link to those memories. But still i could differentiate them. And in my dream, it seemed as thought i could remember similar environment/situations i have experienced in them better than i would have tried to recall in my wake state. It was as though my awareness is tied to a different set of memory. I am currently learning chemistry, and my dream is to solve things like these. To me, dreams is a big clue to the mystery of life.
A couple of times after someone close passed away, I was blessed to have dreams in both cases inwhich I was able to see and talk to them again - and tell them how much everyone missed them. In my last one, the person even told me they had to leave now - so we got to say goodbye... it was wonderful to see them again, and know that I was being able to see them in the dream. :)
i had a dream about having to take care of a literal gigantic baby in a hotel/water theme park. in the end, i lost the baby (i don't know how it was the size of the damn roof) and green tiny people appeared to make join their cult so as to revive the baby because now apparently the baby was dead
sometimes i hear two things after eachother and then i might hear those two things again another time like a week later and it triggers some wierd memory thing but the second time i hear it it feels like i never heard it the first time and i dreamed about it :)
In my experience, people I dream about are either mismatched versions of people I already knew (with different characteristics and similar ones) or someone I have seen but never talked to. Though, the idea of deja vu (imagining you did something in a dream already with this person then when you actually know them the same thing occurs) is super interesting to me!
There was that one unforgettable dream during my teens where the chain of events felt like it happened for several years and the timelapse felt so realistic, I woke up in shock and awe thinking "how could that possibly happen in just several hours of sleep?"
To keep in my notes : 1. History of dream - Mesopotamian recored their dreams in wax tablet - Ancient Egyptians recorded in dream book 2. Why we dream - Dream to fulfill our wishes - Dream to remember - Dream to forget : reverse learning - keep our brains working : continual activation theory, random screen saver - Dream to rehearse : Primitive instinct rehearsal theory - Dream to heal : lack of dreaming may be contributing factor for mental disease - Dream to solve problems
You know the falling feeling you get when you're sleeping? That's your body trying to reactivate your heart because it was beating so slowly you were almost dead.
The falling feeling when you are trying to get sleep or just into sleep or sleeping is because your body detects motion. What it means is that your body was completely still and suddenly some body part moved maybe because of your sleeping position or due to your surrounding like somebody made movement in your mattress and your still body detected it which made you wake up immediately because its an emergency alert system of our brain so that we shouldn't get killed while sleeping.
lol you're just bunching up all the hypothesis presentes in the video? are you aware that most of them are mutually exclusive? they are just theories, we have no real idea why we dream
Most of the time I can't remember what I dream, but when I can remember what I dreamed it's because I saw or heard something that happened in my dream, and many times those dreams have helped me in my life, that's amazing.
Just so obsessed with ur opening- ‘heavy doses of strings achieving cinematic music’- in background, simultaneously, altering the alchemy, & dropping us into a excursion portal to ponder, to visualize- "what an archetype of elixir and treasure does the today's video holds?"
I've dreamt subsequently about my crush, my celebrity crush and my maths teacher. It worries me that apparently my maths teacher is considered just as important as the other two in my mind.
I know I'm four years late, but the animation in this video is so cool! I like how it changes in style and tone; it does a great job of conveying what dreaming is like.
AllGoodNamesAreTaken I don't really know what you believe in, you don't have to try this. But dream catchers are really good and work effectively. They're not really expensive and they're really pretty too. You have to believe it works though I think and it will. Hope this helps xx
I think the scariest dream I ever had was just recently where I dreamed going into the elevator in my office building. The building had in total 14 floors and I was supposed to go to the 12th floor but the elevator keeps going at a speed until it went out of the roof and exploded. It was very realistic to the point that I can clearly and vividly remember the fire flashing before my eyes, seconds before the explosion. Woke up crying....
SO MANY of my dreams have elevators in them. One time I had a dream that I was in a mint green elevator with J.K. Rowling, and we were going DOWN really fast. Another dream I had was one that involved taking the elevator in a version of my school that had 16 stories. It was weird.
I always thought of it as your brain organizing things while you are asleep. Sometimes I get fun coincidences in my dreams, like once I had a dream about a tsunami overtaking my house the night before I found out about the Japan flooding.
+TheTorridestCheese I had a dream where i was running from ---- And i hung myself to take away its power over me. The next day a boy in our school hung himself in the courtyard...
+TheTorridestCheese Me too! Once I dreamed this girl was on my parent's bed and she told me to leave. The next day,she took my friend away and told me to leave.
Several times !!! I remember I was young and I wanted to buy a motorcycle, so I saw a dream driving it, and I knew that it was a dream, and I said desperately: "I will wake up in the morning, and it is going to be nothing but an illusion." And indeed, in the following morning I wasn't surprised.
Im a musician, a drummer. And i once dreamed about playing a song that i struggled playing in real life. And after that dream, i sat on my kit and played it just like in my dream and it sounded really good. We dream to learn, sometimes.
I learned some stuff from dreaming, that I never knew in my life. In my theory our brains observed anything that we see, hear and feel. Our brain just don’t process every information when we are wake. Because In that moment our brain is under our control. When we sleep we can’t control (I meant think or do what ever we want). But when we are sleep our brain get rest. And that moment our brain starts making images, sound and feeling. From what our brain learned from our environment. Simply in my Theory, Our brain has also had will of its own. The will we keep in our control when we are awake. If you follow my theory, You will realize our brain is a living creature that’s inside us. And we are able to control it. We are not exactly our brain. Our brain is different from us. The mutual relationship between our body and brain keeps us as a one living being. I know it sounds crazy. But that’s my theory.
I also have a theory , its sounds bizzare but it is what i think at moment Dreams shows us our alternative reality , means they shows us what can also be happen with us , because sometimes in dreams i saw some alternate decisions made by me in real life
@@vanshgoyal5427 Well To provide some real incidents to your theory, I have had dreams where I felt like I was living someone's or my own life in a different dimension or universe I had a family with a mom, a big bro and sis (dad was gone somewhere) and the world was totally different from ours like very advanced, not just technologically but their intelligence, thought process too, they could manipulate their bodies or energies around them (or something like that XD) and even different advanced species were there But my family's love felt too real and all the moments and the memories that I felt like I shared with them, they even told me that they are waiting for me And there was another one but they were like on god level lmao I had a movie like experience there too Either I really have such a damn great imagination (well I had different conplex dreams about different people's lives that felt like they existed somewhere in different world and I had a glimpse of their lives like an episode or movie, all the times) Or I really connected to myself in different dimensions or universes lmao
Sometimes I have dreams that when I wake up my heart is still beating very fast, there is an indescribable feeling inside of me. It's like I've just been through it.
I lost my mom twice in nightmares. What was the feeling of mine after waking up, I can't describe by any means. I'm grateful to my creator, my mom is okay.
Im confused, my dreams never happened in real life but I can remember everything that happens at random times and places that arent related at all with my dreams. It kinda feels like having Deja Vu
INFINITE 39 Thats not what I have felt. I was walking by a corner shop when suddenly I imagined/ felt like remembering I bought a couch. It wasnt something i’ve done before. It felt like having De Ja Vu but not exactly it. I didnt do something and suddenly remember ive done it before.
It happens to me too! I'll be randomly sitting somewhere doing something normal, and see someone walk by at an angle, or see someone say something in a specific tone of voice and think "This has happened before". Only thing is, I don't know when.
I do that too but I will have to forcibly make myself wake up, not sure how exactly but I would succeed in what felt like a few seconds to minutes. Though I sometimes overlook any bad or abnormal signs and be jump scared basically. Either that or I do notice but I play with it and I would regret it afterwards.
+boy638 Well, it's not actually dreaming. It's just your brain that tries to understand and percieve information on a subconscious level. Since there is no connection or association between the logic and structure of our "dreaming structure" and the physical world, it tries to makes sense from it, which it fails at and shows you bullshit.
***** Yeah that can also happen i've had few dreams when i said "this is clearly a dream" and didn't even think of waking up, i just was like ok then i'll just act normally.
+Köteles Kornél how is it not dreaming? That's absurd. You are just as conscious in a lucid dream as you are now, but it's just not in this phsysical reality. My lucid dreams start as normal dreams until I realize it is a dream. The full control is mine, and I can manifest anything I wish. My brain isn't just "making up bullshit" I am consciously choosing what I'd like to perceive and experience in this 'dream world'.
+19blitzer I agree, to a certain point. The dreamer is conscious, not on a subconscious level and lucid dreaming can include bullshit, but it's not restricted to that. (@Köteles Kornél) Altough I'm also able to control everything in a LD, as long as I'm able to hold up my concentration, it's difficult to remember every detail from a dream to compare it to reality. (But it's impossible anyway, because a human brain cannot remember everything - it doesn't matter if it's happening in a dream or not.) So the point is - no one can tell if ppl. really are *as conscious* in a LD as they are outside of it. To the topic on hand: that is the real question. "Studies led by neuropsychologists Ursula Voss and Martin Dresler have shown that the *brain activity* during lucid dreaming bears the core features of REM sleep but is *distinct from both non-lucid dreaming and the awake state* (...)" [S: theguardian] I don't have the time to dig deeper, but I think we don't really know how different it really is - and how can you measure it, if the device for measurements it is the same as the research object: your brain. I guess lucid dreaming is a safe thing to do, because it's rare and even if you're likely to control a lot of your dreams, there are always enough you can't control.
I like to think that our brain generates dreams to keep our consciousness entertained as it works, and occasionally slips little details from real life into those dreams. Like a tired parent who's three year old wants to play and as they're building Legos with their kid the parent unconsciously builds something resembling their work place, for example.
There is a theory that we experience our dreams because the occipital lobe (visual part of our brains) needs to stay active to prevent other regions from taking over it (as the brain must utilise all available parts). So by generating its own visual activity during sleep, the occipital lobe prevents being taken over by other regions :)
I started a dream journal a few months ago. I learned how to remember my dreams while waking up so I could write them down. Now it seems as if some part of me doesn't particularly like the fact I'm writing down my dreams, because now I dream that I wake up to write my dream down in my dream, so I can't remember it when I really wake up. (oops this sentence is confusing. Basically I think I just woke up although I'm still dreaming. Then I write my dream down while I'm still asleep. Because I tend to forget my dreams once I wrote them down, I forget them even if I just wrote them down while dreaming.) It's so confusing to wake up although you think you already were awake!
I have had a similar experience. Usually when i am studying at night before an exam, i fall sleepy and decide to do it in the early morning. So i dream of studying the leftover portion, even though I haven't really done it consciously. But i have the feeling that I finished my portion. Its so weird and confusing haha
So far I only have 3-4 dreams in my journal and I started a few months ago. I do still have vivid dreams but I only write down the ones I feel like I'm definitely going to forget or that have an incredible amount of details.
Same here, I started writing dream logs quite a while ago, the number of logs is about 100 now. I'm usually aware that I'm dreaming, so whenever I'm about to "end" my dream I'll try to re-narrate the plot/story and remember some keywords so that I can write it out when I wake up. There are days when I "woke up" inside another dream and quickly write things down, until I realized that I was still dreaming. And then I would wake up a second time forgetting what I had to write. It's very annoying to wake up from a double dream.
I started journaling my dreams like 8 years ago and I remember so many more dreams now. But there are times when I dream I've woken up or I wake up but I'm not very conscious and just find scribbles / auto fill on the notes in my phone. What's really trippy is when I'm dreaming about telling someone about a dream I just had or when I dream that I am sleeping in bed dreaming.
It's cool how dreams can be connected to the real world, dreams can give us clues about what's going to happen in the future, or give us a choice on how to handle a problem. Or even tell us what we are doing wrong in life. Like the dream of somebody/Figure is standing next to your bed, staring at you and not doing anything. They say that it means that you feel as if your constantly being judged.
Yeah my dreams are crazy unrealistic. When I wake up it's always like I just saw some weird movie with a warped plot. Yesterday I had a dream about 2 twins trying to kill me in an old Indian building in which we were the only humans. There were elves and dwarves doing some kind of work there. And rule breakers in that building where punished with half their faces being exposed to the surface of a pool with piranhas. It was the first bad dream I've had in a really long time. I woke up just before the twins started to tie me up. And I woke up crying. It would make a pretty good horror movie.
@Thunderclan02 if you really died in that dream.. You would of died in real life. Because if you died in a dream properly apparently you actally died. Who knows tho
I occasionally continue dreams that I had over 6 years ago, my mind just clicks pause walks away and decides to continue a few years later, and the places I visit are exactly the same as when I left them.
Its a break from our grim reality and hidden side of ourselves who we really are and what do we want. It is also a mirror to our current state of mind.
Osama Ahmad yeah it's psycoanalisis it's called the edipo complex theory (I guess it's called like that in English) search a serious explanation and you will know more about it :)
to increase the chances of lucid dreaming, before you go to bed say out loud, " Tonight when i dream, i want to realize that im dreaming." the go to bed. that increases the chances of lucid dreaming. :D
Who enjoys setting back and remembering so many dreams by locations like he is flying over them or being put into different scenes and switching between them very fast, and getting a certain vibe with each dream?
@@Badass_Brains Yea, I dream of flying and running very, really very fast. I dreamed once flying in a helicopter in insane speed that it crashed at the end. But the common feature between these dreams is that while I fly or run fast I pass through many places I know very fast, this may be that my brain is trying to symbolize something for me. Regarding lucid dreams, there was an exceptional one happened to me, I once told myself in wakefulness that when I fall asleep and start dreaming, I will look to my self and see what I wear, and when I start dreaming I remembered that, looked And found that I was wearing a white T shirt. It was very entertaining to control my dream. Some of my dreams are mind boggling that I wish I was a talented artist or 3D animator to produce them in real world due to there special type of their nostalgic feeling. Also I’m the type of person who experiences sleep paralysis now and then, and I have some dramatic stories with each one. 😄 By the way, your channel is awesome 👏✨ keep going.
You know what would be crazy? If dreams were reality and reality was dreaming how would we know? Because when we are dreaming we forget about reality (I think for most of us when we are dreaming we do not know we are in a dream) and so we think dreaming is reality but when we wake up we also think it's reality? So HONESTLY how do we know that right now we are not dreaming?
Or what if life's a dream, and our dreams happen inside life i.e a dream? What if we wake up in a different place after we die and think "That was a pretty messy dream"? To think of it, that IS the concept of the afterlife in Abrahamic relegions.
Simple look at the clock and remember it, if the clock is blurry then you are dreaming. Faces, if that face is blurry then probably you are dreaming. Search about it.
I think until we can literally record dreams, we will never know their biological/ psychological purpose. I have taught a quite a few people who couldn't usually remember their dreams how to remember them and they have often found it surprising how "Out there" their dreams are. But the thing is no single explanation explained in this video accurately describes all of my dreams. It could be a case that dreams have many purposes that vary from situation to situation.
Has everyone ever had a dream in which they realize that they already got this dream before and able to be aware of upcoming situation (while in the current dream), then they try to act differently, in attempt to fix what they had done wrong in the previous same dream?
"We dream to fulfil your wishes" Me: I only ever have nightmares... "We dream to remember" Me: All my dreams are complete fantasy... "We dream to forget" Me: I have short-term memory in the first place. "We dream to rehearse" Me: Um...Rehearsing on running from vampires to the north pole? "We dream to solve problems" Me: Yes, That is correct YET I forget all my ideas when I wake up. Me while typing this: So...WHY do we dream...?
Omg! I cant believe it. I just got a DREAM MATE. Lol!! I relate to you 100%. My one of the weirdest dream which i can never forget . 😂😂😂. My mom was literally a vampire with green eyes and big canines. She bite my brother and he turned into a vampire with red eyes. Then, they both are after me and m runing like crazy and wondering "wth is happening? Does this make sense " 😶 Next day when i told this to my mum and bro . They were just like : watching useless horror shows , what else do you expect😂
Is it just me? Sometimes I forget about the dream then during the day I would encounter something that would remind of the my dream. For example, I rummaged through my box to use a hairbrush I haven't used in a while then I remembered that it was part of my dream. Happened to me many times and it's kinda mind blowing because the things that remind me of my dream are so random and something that I don't usually do. It's like my dreams can predict what I'm about to do when I wake up...
Do you ever dream in the mornings that you have already woken up and start getting ready for work in your dreams? I went through a phase of doing that and it drove me crazy having to get ready in the morning "twice"! 😅
Have you felt like running underwater when trying to run in a dream? Or being aware that you're in a dream, and are there just like, when is this gonna end? Or had a really bad dream, then wake up with a sign of relief that you're alive? Or had a dream that you forgot and think its part of your life until you realized it was a dream? I've had all these dreams before
Has anyone ever woken up crying? I have emotional dreams sometimes and they're so vivid I wake up in tears and I don't know why like what the actual heck!!
A common dream for me 20-30 years after finishing school was to be back at school, but worried half way through the semester that I had been forgetting to go to a certain class, usually something like an English class. My theory is that my memory has (of course) faded of a school schedule that long ago, but in the dream, my lack of recall caused me to worry. Similarly, dreaming that I was forgetting to go to a class which was needed to complete my degree and at the end of the final semester finding out I was one class short. Ack!
Most of the time my dreams are very real Most of the time I saw things, actions and people in dreams Then the similar things happen in the next day And the people say u can't see watch and clock in a dream but I saw many times And people say we can't read in a dreams but I can read in my dreams
its just an illusion that u r able to see similar things in the next day which u saw in dreams.u just imagine that same things happen in ur dreams.every person will have this imagination
Earlier this year I was really stressed about an exam (worried about failing etc) but the night before I dreamt I was taking it and looking at the exam paper, when I woke up, I spent a few hours before my exam thinking about how I would answer the questions from my dream. I got into the exam hall and opened the paper, which was the *exact same* paper I dreamt about, And I passed!

Sometimes I just can't differentiate whether the things I have said were in dream or in real life....
For some reason, once something funny happened to me, and it was late at night and I was tired.
And so when I woke up in the morning, I was about to say "Hey, wanna know something funny that happened in my dream?"
but that thing happened in real life lol.
For some reason, I remembered this after seeing your comment.
Yeah it happened to me too
Yeah, I've been there too..... LoL
Yeah same
god sometimes I think that I'm dreaming, when I'm in real life, those sucks.
True! Sometimes I also feel amazed about the dreams I have. Although I do forget them after waking up, I remember the feelings I felt in my dreams.
I know exactly what you mean
You have to write and publish some of your adventures! I would die for a good fiction book right now and you might be able to make a good one.

It is better than tv if you pay more attention to your dreaming.
Yeah I love dreaming!!!!
Why dream? What else are we going to do while we're laying there all night sleeping?
lucid dreams are literally the best. I've been an expert on it since I was six. the best I've had so far was a whole quidditch match in one night

I’ve had similar dreams with loved ones. What a gift to have had that time to say goodbye.
My desire for that experience is what led me to this video. I’m glad you had that opportunity! What a sweet feeling ❤️

Yes, i did
ruclips.net/video/9SRCT_dR964/видео.html
yes i did
No, a brain can't completely formulate a new human being itself. If you dreamt of them, then you may have seen them or someone very similar
To keep in my notes :
1. History of dream
- Mesopotamian recored their dreams in wax tablet
- Ancient Egyptians recorded in dream book
2. Why we dream
- Dream to fulfill our wishes
- Dream to remember
- Dream to forget : reverse learning
- keep our brains working : continual activation theory, random screen saver
- Dream to rehearse : Primitive instinct rehearsal theory
- Dream to heal : lack of dreaming may be contributing factor for mental disease
- Dream to solve problems
Sometimes I remember my dreams, and if it's a good one, I'll continue it the next time I sleep. Anyone else who also do that?

You know the falling feeling you get when you're sleeping?
That's your body trying to reactivate your heart because it was beating so slowly you were almost dead.
Holyheck really?? 🤭🤭 that happened to me a few times before sleeping
@@Satsuki-sv4xf Well, scientists and doctors aren't sure yet, but this is one of the theories :) And same! It's happened to me so many times
Omg that makes sense. That's why after that my heart beats so fast I can't barely breath 🤣
Lol yeah this was a Tumblr post. Idk if it's accurate but definitely very interesting
Why do we dream?
We dream in order to:
1.remember
2.forget
3.keep brain functioning
4.rehearse
5.reduce psychological stress
6.solve problem
lol you're just bunching up all the hypothesis presentes in the video? are you aware that most of them are mutually exclusive? they are just theories, we have no real idea why we dream

If u die in your dreams then your brain is not accustomed to handle a situation after death;so we immediately get awake.
SO MANY of my dreams have elevators in them. One time I had a dream that I was in a mint green elevator with J.K. Rowling, and we were going DOWN really fast. Another dream I had was one that involved taking the elevator in a version of my school that had 16 stories. It was weird.

Im a musician, a drummer. And i once dreamed about playing a song that i struggled playing in real life. And after that dream, i sat on my kit and played it just like in my dream and it sounded really good. We dream to learn, sometimes.
Hello 👋 how are you doing
But that’s my theory.
your basically describing a soul of a person
No idea what the science is behind it but I think there is truth to your theory!
A different perception. Cool
I also have a theory , its sounds bizzare but it is what i think at moment
Dreams shows us our alternative reality , means they shows us what can also be happen with us , because sometimes in dreams i saw some alternate decisions made by me in real life
@@vanshgoyal5427 Well To provide some real incidents to your theory, I have had dreams where I felt like I was living someone's or my own life in a different dimension or universe
I had a family with a mom, a big bro and sis (dad was gone somewhere) and the world was totally different from ours like very advanced, not just technologically but their intelligence, thought process too, they could manipulate their bodies or energies around them (or something like that XD) and even different advanced species were there
But my family's love felt too real and all the moments and the memories that I felt like I shared with them, they even told me that they are waiting for me
And there was another one but they were like on god level lmao
I had a movie like experience there too
Either I really have such a damn great imagination (well I had different conplex dreams about different people's lives that felt like they existed somewhere in different world and I had a glimpse of their lives like an episode or movie, all the times)
Or I really connected to myself in different dimensions or universes lmao
How about blind people since birth? How do they dream?
i think they hear sounds while they sleep of something...not sure tho

Dark Phoenix What kind of dreams?
+Tokoryo Manilano (Tok) His "God mother" might've seen things before, but then they become blind, and then they have dreams about then seeing things..
I'm glad your mom is ok! Hope you and your mom stay safe!

"But until that time arrives, we'll just have to keep on dreaming."
oh god how beautifully done that sentence is
Does lucid dreaming also serve the same purpose?
+boy638 Yeah, i suppose it's literally just being aware of the dream. At different levels.
(@Köteles Kornél)
Altough I'm also able to control everything in a LD, as long as I'm able to hold up my concentration, it's difficult to remember every detail from a dream to compare it to reality. (But it's impossible anyway, because a human brain cannot remember everything - it doesn't matter if it's happening in a dream or not.)
So the point is - no one can tell if ppl. really are *as conscious* in a LD as they are outside of it.
To the topic on hand: that is the real question.
"Studies led by neuropsychologists Ursula Voss and Martin Dresler have shown that the *brain activity* during lucid dreaming bears the core features of REM sleep but is *distinct from both non-lucid dreaming and the awake state* (...)" [S: theguardian]
I don't have the time to dig deeper, but I think we don't really know how different it really is - and how can you measure it, if the device for measurements it is the same as the research object: your brain.
I guess lucid dreaming is a safe thing to do, because it's rare and even if you're likely to control a lot of your dreams, there are always enough you can't control.
I had a dream that my childhood dog was abducted by aliens and I believed it since I was 7

I HAVE THAT FEELING TOO, LIKE SOMEDAY WE DISCOVER SOMETHING WHAT IS OVER OUR UNDERSTANDING
Perception huh ? Guess you’re right I can feel it to
I like to think that our brain generates dreams to keep our consciousness entertained as it works, and occasionally slips little details from real life into those dreams. Like a tired parent who's three year old wants to play and as they're building Legos with their kid the parent unconsciously builds something resembling their work place, for example.
Damn how did I think this up like this is one of the few moments where my two overworked braincells rub together and create thought™
There is a theory that we experience our dreams because the occipital lobe (visual part of our brains) needs to stay active to prevent other regions from taking over it (as the brain must utilise all available parts). So by generating its own visual activity during sleep, the occipital lobe prevents being taken over by other regions :)
1:05 "thoughts, urges, an desires" -.- "your mom" 😂😂😂 damn son
I started a dream journal a few months ago. I learned how to remember my dreams while waking up so I could write them down.
Now it seems as if some part of me doesn't particularly like the fact I'm writing down my dreams, because now I dream that I wake up to write my dream down in my dream, so I can't remember it when I really wake up. (oops this sentence is confusing. Basically I think I just woke up although I'm still dreaming. Then I write my dream down while I'm still asleep. Because I tend to forget my dreams once I wrote them down, I forget them even if I just wrote them down while dreaming.)
It's so confusing to wake up although you think you already were awake!
It's very annoying to wake up from a double dream.
this happens to me as well :(
I started journaling my dreams like 8 years ago and I remember so many more dreams now.
"Dreams aren't what you see in your sleep. Dreams are things which do not let you sleep !" 😊

Its a break from our grim reality and hidden side of ourselves who we really are and what do we want. It is also a mirror to our current state of mind.
Did anyone see 'your mom' at 1:07?
Dr. Sickman Fraud had a real obsession with your mom.
Osama Ahmad yeah it's psycoanalisis it's called the edipo complex theory (I guess it's called like that in English) search a serious explanation and you will know more about it :)
Lol your mom
*Mom Joke Alert* !
Yeah.probably?
I wish I can Lucid dream all the time.
I can all the time. >:3
+Neon Lightsx why would u be awake watching this when u can lucid dream all the time
to increase the chances of lucid dreaming, before you go to bed say out loud, " Tonight when i dream, i want to realize that im dreaming." the go to bed. that increases the chances of lucid dreaming. :D
U can with my cats toxic fart
MissElliePlayz ! Really? Seems to hard to believe.

Who enjoys setting back and remembering so many dreams by locations like he is flying over them or being put into different scenes and switching between them very fast, and getting a certain vibe with each dream?
Those are the best kinds of dreams! I miss having them. Do you dream about flying a lot? I guess by your username you experience lucid dreams?
By the way, your channel is awesome 👏✨ keep going.
Me: phew.....what a nightmare!
7 seconds later: wait, what dream?
@@celestialvenus6711 wow that's a cool concept!
@@sakura-fh9fv oh ok I'll look at it
@@celestialvenus6711 my brain: wowwwwwwwwwww
imagine discovering the reason why we dream while we sleep - that would be cool!!
Yes!!
No, but i came back to the same place in my dreams a few times (a place in my dream that doesnt excist)
@@zc8193 yups me too
"We dream to fulfil your wishes"
Me: I only ever have nightmares...
"We dream to remember"
Me: All my dreams are complete fantasy...
"We dream to forget"
Me: I have short-term memory in the first place.
"We dream to rehearse"
Me: Um...Rehearsing on running from vampires to the north pole?
"We dream to solve problems"
Me: Yes, That is correct YET I forget all my ideas when I wake up.
Me while typing this: So...WHY do we dream...?
to escape reality
Because I'm awesome.
To entertain ourselves
Because Reality always sucks
So at least we can entertain ourselves for 8 hours therefore we are dreaming.
Does this make sense "
😶
Next day when i told this to my mum and bro .
Yes! This happens all the time!
Do you ever dream in the mornings that you have already woken up and start getting ready for work in your dreams? I went through a phase of doing that and it drove me crazy having to get ready in the morning "twice"! 😅
"We dream to forget"
Me who writes down the dream I had: Interesting
“Dream is not that which you see while sleeping it is something that does not let you sleep.”
~ A.P.J. Abdul Kalam
More or less so but that can't explain why we forget our dreams tho lol.
different kinda dreams bro
Dream here mean hope or probably goals and not something really strange and came to us while we're sleeping
I've had all these dreams before
wow i had all of those too
Why does he eat an apple during the video . The sound effects are so weird
That was very cringy
Has anyone ever woken up crying? I have emotional dreams sometimes and they're so vivid I wake up in tears and I don't know why like what the actual heck!!
Maybe we dream to do all of those things?
A common dream for me 20-30 years after finishing school was to be back at school, but worried half way through the semester that I had been forgetting to go to a certain class, usually something like an English class. My theory is that my memory has (of course) faded of a school schedule that long ago, but in the dream, my lack of recall caused me to worry. Similarly, dreaming that I was forgetting to go to a class which was needed to complete my degree and at the end of the final semester finding out I was one class short. Ack!
Most of the time my dreams are very real
Most of the time I saw things, actions and people in dreams
Then the similar things happen in the next day
And the people say u can't see watch and clock in a dream but I saw many times
And people say we can't read in a dreams but I can read in my dreams
Maybe you've got your dreams and reality the wrong way around, and in your dreams your just recalling stuff that previously happened
its just an illusion that u r able to see similar things in the next day which u saw in dreams.u just imagine that same things happen in ur dreams.every person will have this imagination
Earlier this year I was really stressed about an exam (worried about failing etc) but the night before I dreamt I was taking it and looking at the exam paper,
when I woke up, I spent a few hours before my exam thinking about how I would answer the questions from my dream.
I got into the exam hall and opened the paper, which was the *exact same* paper I dreamt about,
And I passed!
The illustrations of people in this video were so scary!
Ever had a nightmares and then you thought you woke up but it’s just your dream and then panic even more until you wake up for real
Aristotle: "Dreams are revocations of series of events that happened during the sleepers awakening life".
Dreams are visions into one's other multiversal realities.
So, you've seen the multiverse of madness
