Most of the videos I found talk about killing the leaf footed bugs, but I don’t want to teach the kids that. I just want them to have the facts. Thanks again!

Any recommendations regarding the videos about protecting plants from these and possibly killing them? These and stinkbugs tear up some of my favorite garden goodies especially squash.

Thank you so much for your video!! I work with children and we saw what I now understand to be a leaf footed bug on the playground. It took some research for me to identify it. Now, I am looking for a video to show the kids today to learn about what we found. Your video is perfect. It’s educational and fun.

Thank you! How did you know the leaf footed specimen was a male?

Hmmmmmm. Uh...apologies...i believe in this situation I used the word "he" as one might used the word "it". I was not consciously thinking male or female. I do not know if this specimen was actually a male or female. I will try to do better in future and use language more clearly.

i used to have bee hives and one day there was a wheel bug on the lid with his prong stuck in a bee. I got some great pictures of it

I love wheel bugs! I have a bunch of footage but never ran an episode! I find them in fall prowling around fall blooms of bright yellow golden rod. Kudos on,your photos...great photo subject!

@@natureatyourdoor two weeks ago i was in my yard and could smell the honeysuckles, it was nighttime, but i was going to lean in and stick my face in them to smell them at about 5 feet off the ground and there was a garter snake right there in the vines, i pulled back at the last second after having my nose an inch from his nose. Got pictures of that as well.
