The hola looks pretty interesting for using 3d printing for mass production, u can actually see some of the artifacts like layers in your close up shots
DLP 3d printing is used in lots of IEM's (like the Truthear x Crin Zero) but when you see the layers like that, it looks more like FDM but couldn't be. The layers are only visible on the outer lip, the steep slope facing your ear would normally be the easiest place to see the layer lines, regardless of the orientation they're printed in. Even if printed in small layers (for FDM) at 0.1mm its still much larger than DLP (0.05mm...0.03mm, potentially smaller). Maybe its the post processing that hides most of the layers. Either way, If they are 3d printed they're not metal, to answer his question. If they were metal they'd be sintered and would have a sandblasted kind of effect, not layer lines.

This is what most have been saying about IEM market recently. The price of entry for a really good IEM have been gotten FAR cheaper than years before, to the point it's now a race to the bottom price-wise. But at the same time, while the budget market is really heating up, the high-end up is really dry with maybe a handful of release every now and then. So yeah, most of the innovation goes to producing stuff cheaper, instead of pushing the boundary.
1DD + 3BA is a very common config and pretty much the standard for a hybrid, glad to see Truthear did so well with it. Can't wait until Truthear tries some more exotic combos like all BA (mini S8), tribrid (mini variations), or anything involving planar.
Just got the HEXA, really enjoying them so far. They are also pretty good for gaming, directional audio is much better than on my previous headphones (B&O H6 2nd).
@@mrsteelurswag I have been using them on different devices (XBox Controller among them) and never had problems. IEMs in general are easy to drive so don't worry about that. Also, check out the new Crinacle ZeroRed.
I just got my pair of Hola, I'm REALLY impressed for the price. As someone who is very treble sensitive, I like a warm sound on all of my stuff, and feel like the Hola are the first IEMs to fully work for me. Neutral sound, sounds great in the presence region without doing too much above. Bass is tuned very well. It's there but not too much. Mid and upper bass are not too emphasized. Two small points of criticism though : - Bass isn't the highest quality, it's not as tight as I'd like. Though this have a benefit, the Hola doesn't sound as bass heavy as what the frequency response measurement shows. - And the most high end slanted female vocals can lack a bit of air. Probably because of the lack of treble extension. But for the price it's a no brainer. I absolutely love the sound signature !
This is a very helpful critique and review! As someone who has autistic, and also rather sensitive to higher volumes of higher frequencies, I've been trying to find relatively detailed IEMs that don't pierce my ears. Thank you!
@@jacobstinson4863 My pleasure ! I'm into neutral / warm signatures ever since I got a Bluetooth speaker that was so piercing it completely redefined my tastes. I can't do with these kind of tunings anymore.
@@ThibautMahringer Jesus that sounds like a painful experience! But I agree, more warm to neutral is my go to signatures as well. Glad you've found some that works for you!
@@jacobstinson4863 Yep, it was boosted after 8KHz, with a massive peak around 9.5KHz and, truly horrible experience... Thanks. I hope you'll like the Hola if you pick a pair !
The waners are the best budget iems. I own all the ones you mentioned. The waners just sound so natural. Nice quick bass with good slam. Mids are REALLY good clean and natural. Maybe lacking just a touch in the treble region but still sooooo good. You can really crank them up without fatigue.
Truthears stategy seems to be lauching mini, budget moondrops. You launched the trend. The zero is a mini variations, the hexa a mini blessing 2 and the hola a mini aria. Besides being very good iems on their own, this can be a way to try good different sound sigantures before choosing to invest in a better, more expensive iem. Waiting for a mini blessing 2 dusk 😀
I appreciate you mentioning that the audiophile community is absolutely breakneck and more than a little ridiculous in the last few years. The Moondrop CHU came out *less than three months ago* and people are already talking about them like they're old news, no longer relevant, and not even worth owning. While, yes, the Hola might be amazing for one dollar less, the Salznotes and CHU and Hola all sound slightly different, and have significant differences in fit, aesthetics, and cabling and all the little things that make a product wearable. While sound is most important, it's good to have variety in the space. Not everyone has the same anatomy or preferences. It's good that you encourage people to step back and think once in a while. Mindless hype will kill this hobby faster than anything else. People now demand you review IEMs they already bought or preordered to justify their purchase instead of considering what IEMs or cans they actually enjoy and want to keep, and which ones they actually need to purchase. I'll never understand thoughtless, completionist collecting. Thanks for the sanity check.
Pretty cool is that apparently Moondrop is making a Chu that has detachable cables, and it's sliver. If the tuning improved at all, it would be an amazing pick.
@@GoodbutevilgeniusIt's already out, it's called the Moondrop LAN. It's basically the CHU, with better build, detachable cable, more sub bass and slightly less peaky in the treble. The only "problem" it's now 40 dollars and no spring tips. So take as you will.
@@rajeebdas1724 refusing to rate something high not because of its actual performance, but because "a $80 IEM can only do so much" would be terribly dumb though.
The Truthear Hexa has managed to survive being slammed by a car door without the slightest hint of damage in my experience, so that's gotta be something in terms of durability.
@@minmagg Having purchased them on February 6, 2023, they have not sustained any damage whatsoever despite my heavy use of them (edit: "Heavy" as in I'm pretty much using them close to 24/7 if possible). The IEMs do not have any scratches on them (unless you consider down feathers to be sharp). I would have to be destroying them on purpose for there to be damage. One issue I would say is that the ear loop protector has been curved due to the pressure put on them. However, this is mainly my fault because I have fallen asleep while wearing them on campus (am a commuter college student) and fell asleep while wearing them in bed. Since the cable is removable and can be replaced, this is not an issue from my perspective due to there being no change in audio quality. Had it been non-removable, I might have taken some issue (though minor). For some context, I have particularly sensitive hearing and play quite a bit of rhythm games. Most notably: ● Osu! ● Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix+ ● DJMAX RESPECT V ● Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage! ● D4DJ Groovy Mix ● Cytus II ● DEEMO ~Reborn~ ● Muse Dash and some arcade rhythm games like: ● Maimai ● Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Arcade ● Museca ● Sound Voltex ● Groove Coaster ● Taiko no Tatsujin ● Wacca
Crin, I'd love to get a top picks for VR headphones from you. VR has very specific needs from headphones: ability to swap out cable with a short 3.5mm cable stability on head (won't move around when being more active) Immersive sound (my personal preference. VR is all about immersion to me) Love the content!
I've personally been using 6XXs for VR. You can usually find them for $200 or less so you're not quite breaking the bank compared to the rest of a VR setup, the cable is swappable and is 3.5mm standard, the tall, narrow earcup means it won't clank against even bulkier headsets, they're very comfortable for hours on end, and they are quite stable.
Hi. Which Bluetooth receiver did you buy? I am new to all IEMs and want to make a good start with Hexa. Also if you have any recommendations for cable with mic, I am all ears. Thanks!
I've had the Hexa for a couple weeks now and they do sound really good, especially with AutoEq. I've only previous had the Tin Hifi T3 Plus, and these are so much better. Also, the included small, white eartips are surprisingly comfortable compared to Spinfits and Springtips. With that A+ tuning compared to the Aria's and Titan S's A-, these might just be the $80 king.
Can you describe what you mean by “better”, in comparison to the T3 plus? I just got the T3 Plus, Aria Snow, Truethear Zero, and HiFi Go Duna Kima. I’ve been going back and forth listening and gaming for the last 2 days. Still working out my thoughts. Bass has the biggest hit on the Zeros. Snow’s seem the brightest and most trebble forward of the bunch. T3 seems to have that mid-bass extension that bringing a fun and ‘louder’ feel to the mix. I’m worried they could get fatiguing after a while with such a lively tuning, and some possibly harsh highs? Duna Kima seems to maybe be my favorite pick, perhaps- clarity up top without being too harsh, tight bass with juuust enough oomph (similar to the T3… maybe cleaner / less muddy by a TINY fraction?),
I was going to get the Hexa.. but decided (for now) to go with the other options i stated. Main reason being- while it has a natural tuning and may be good for mixing / details, I’m looking for something more fun, slightly warmer perhaps. And i like bass. The Arias are a no-go for that reason. How would you describe the bass on the Hexa vs the T3?
I can definitely afford them and as per Crin's opinion they sound good, but how is the build quality? I tend to clean my ears obsessively, but my current Moondrop Chu still get filled with ear wax or something way too often, which makes them sound too quiet. Is that the case for these too?
@@alifahran8033 Hexa is built really well, kind of the same 3D print material as the variations, but there’s no nozzle filters like the b2 comes with (even though those suck at staying in place). I know some tips have built in filters like comply or sednaEarfit max, that would help with protecting any iem
I ordered the Hexas as soon as they were released, received them after 2 weeks and man... I absolutely love their sound and design! The only gripe I have is their shell shape. In the interior part they are just flat so they constantly press my antihelixes, causing pain after 20 minutes of using them.
@@privateer2584 The solution I came up with is using long tips to put the shell as far as possible from my ear. I'm using a pair of Spinfit CP145 in M size and they work pretty well.
Bought the chu's a few months back. They are still working fine. Now that there are more options i already have some to choose from if they ever break. Im not an enthusiast so i dont have a refined hearing so they are enough for me. The chu's so far: The cable is a similar cable that you get with your phone when you buy a new one. Its not a big problem for me because i've been accustomed to it. One "problem" i got with them is that they are fully metal and collect condensation on the earhole portion so i have to clean it like every 2-3 hours if i want them to sound good and not to clog up later. I dont really mind that, because they were cheap after all and sound miles better than my previous ones. (I also have a lot of earwax so thats also a factor to take in) Alltogether i just wanted to get some good cheap earphones and i got them. If they ever give up i would just choose another one from the market. And i've already got the spring tips because they came with the chu's. I think it will be at least a few months till they finally break and by then the market will have more options below 50 that sound good.
It's weird because I have the exact opposite feeling about the B2 and the Hexa. Hexa is much more fatiguing and bright to me while the B2 has more noticeable bass and the treble isn't fatiguing at all to me and I prefer it because of that. I also listen exclusively to metal soaybe that's why
I think the Hexa is *extremely* fit/seal dependent. I switched to smaller+thicker tips, tried inserting deeper, and immediately the bass came back and the treble was less unbalanced.
@@arc-audio I've tried a few different tips and the stock big tips seem to work best for seal for my ears. It's fairly noticeably that my ears feel plugged when I have them in. Plus I ram them in my ears as deep as they'll go lmao but I do that with every IEM. I kind of want to try spring tips on them
I litterly saw the notification and started watching this vid... I should be getting ready for a meeting. So you are so worth watching please keep posting!
I wish the truthear zero didn't just have big awful nozzles that made them unwearable after a 15 mins. I have normal ears and felt like I was on the ear version of the casting couch. The hola is very smooth and pleasant
Only just ordered some CHU's a little bit ago, they still haven't arrived. Now there's a better IEM for less money out there. I now understand what everyone says about this market changing very rapidly.
@@rajeebdas1724 Not particularly new, but I'm also not particularly picky. I've had some HD 599's for several years and I'm happy with them. Just want something not Bluetooth and something better than your typical store iem. I can appreciate audiophile sound, I just don't have audiophile budget, and so bought something I can afford. Thanks for the advice, though. I'll take it into consideration when I have to inevitably buy something new.
I just got the hexa, they are absurdly good. They are like the diokos but cheaper, with a more conventional design and easier to fit. I still prefer the Diokos because it feels more premium (much much better cable), have more detail and I love the design. But jesus this hexa thing is absolutely incredible.
@@vianhoho19 heyy hope this message reach you, i want to buy this iem and i have a option to buy hexa or dioko. i have the budget to buy dioko but i see the hexa is popular to, many people talk that hexa is more smoother than dioko(?). which you prefer to buy??
@@regapasyafebriansyah9532 Hexa is a safer purchase. Dioko is rather niche in overall presentation; more often than not, people will have something to dislike about it compared to the Hexa
I bought the Hexa based on other rave reviews and current budget :) One thing I appreciate about this iem is that I enjoy listening to lower bit rate music in my collection with the Hexa. It’s kind of like a good boombox, or in today’s world a good Bluetooth speaker, but better. One thing the Hexa could use is a less resonant shell. Hexa Plus? Cool to see when you like things too 🤗✨👍
I've had my Hexa for about 2 months and I'm really happy with it. But now I find myself eyeing IEMs that cost hundreds of dollars. Guess this is what being an audiophile is like-always wondering if there's something better out there.
Broo that's literally me. Just got hexa for less than a week. And I'm VERY satisfied with it. But, now I find myself watching more & more reviews. We need to be careful with our financial decisions 😂
The Hola is the most premium offering for $20..cable and the build quality is soo good... but tuning wise, it is safe tuning compared to the Zero and the wan'er. Relaxed listening experience..
@@athenovae Hello Athenovae, I see you a lot in other audio channels. My Hola hasn't arrived yet. Some people find it too dark, so I did think of ordering the Springs Tips ahead of time because of their wide bore (and low price...). Is there a big difference between their stock wide bores vs the Spring? I only own Spinfit CP100/145 and KBear 07 M to tiproll, and I'm not sure yet if I should buy the Springs. I also heard great things about the Spinfit W1.
@@Ausemere hey there! TLDR I am a nooby. I would say save your money for now, and try out all your tips. Keep in mind tip size and changes in sound signature aren’t linear because there is an optimal point between your ear shape, nozzle distance, seal, IEM shape, etc that is unique to you more or less. I also don’t have experience with any ear tips out side of what I got from Chu, Zero, Hola, and Hexa. The stock wide bores are donut 🍩 shaped rather than egg/dome 🥚🪖 shaped- making them shorter and wider as a result and possibly making the nozzle sit a bit further from your ear canal. If you do end up getting Spring Tips, by a used Chu for $10 with 3 sizes instead of $13 for a new set of 3 pairs that is only one size. ------ So first off I am just a nooby to this hobby. However from my 2 weeks so far with the Hola (and Hexa and my friend’s 7Hz Zero), tips do matter for me and the stock tips didn’t do well for what I was wanting. The fit was fine but the sound signature was a bit too bass-y for my taste. What I’ve found is to increase treble/reduce bass I’d usually use a wider bore, not need as good a seal, and have the nozzle further away from my ear. I’m sure there is more nuance to it than that but I haven’t explored it too deeply yet. Another thing is everyone’s ear shapes/HRTF, hearing sensitivity, and auditory discrimination are different so what I find to have a certain amount of effect may not be the same for you. Side note I recently found out I have random episodes of hyperacusis so my sensitivity changes. Before I was aware of that, my perception of sounds and my preferences for a sound signature would unknowingly change to accommodate for it and that messed with my experiments. 😅 Anyway up until right now, I’ve been using the Large Spring Tips for a couple days and I did note it being “dark-bright” (meaning some parts of it bright but others not so much), with a thinner bass. Keep in mind all these different tunes are with in a margin of 5db or so if tilt from the 7Hz Zero. So it’s a very tight line to straddle. A little bit here and smidge there really differentiates these models. So a thinner bass would probably be maybe 1-2 db less than before, tho I don’t have a rig to measure. Over all a very relaxing experience. Just now however, I tested the XL, L, and M Wide bore stock tip and it has a good amount of bass but also a lot more note weight and sparkle to it - with the L one having the most sparkle. The wide bore unlike the narrow ones are donut shaped rather than egg shaped. Idk why there’s a good amount of bass but also having higher note weight and brighter treble but probably the combination of ear shape, nozzle distance, and amount of seal I have. Before I recognized there was an optimum combination, I was so confused when I tried tips and the extremes (S and XL or L in other cases) didn’t give me quite as different a sound as I thought it would. Also also the shell design also has something to do with the acoustics we experience. For example the 7Hz Zero wide bore gives more bass than the narrow one provided which is opposite from what we would expect, suggesting it’s the IEM design. Additionally, using an even wider bore (4mm->5.5mm) reduces the amount of bass for me which was interesting. I don’t have any tip’s outside of the ones I have from my IEMs (except sets from 15 year old random earphones I find lying around) so unfortunately I don’t know much about SpinFits or KBears.
the one big issue i see with iem's has to be their physical limitation. they are literally plugs in our ears. theres only so much audio parts that can be shoved into them before they just become in ears. the other issue has to be the health aspect. since they're plugs, they have a higher chance of causing tinnitus, or ear infection.
Why would they have a greater chance of causing tinnitus? Over-ear headphones also vibrate the bones around your ears, and that vibration then travels into your ears. So it seems like headphones have more potential to cause damage. In either case, just don't listen at extreme volumes and you should be fine. I've also never heard of anyone getting an ear infection from earbuds.
material on Hola: After looking at it, not having it in my hands, it seems to be 3D printed resin (most likely SLA printed). This can be seen by the layering one can see so beautifully in your close-up shots.
I honestly hope more companies are going make bluetooth adapters so there's more cheaper options that aren't just compatible with kz and a couple other iems. That way you couple easily listen to something like 7hz zero while working out or just working without an attachment that is like 5× the price or more of the iem
The KZ/CCA tws adapters are decent but only use qdc connectors. Something like the Fiio UTWS3 is usually pricey around $80-100 but can be found for cheaper around $60-70 nowadays and can work with more iems since it’s 2-pin or mmcx.
I wouldn't suggest the UTWS3/5. I've gone through 3 so far because they are so unstable and keep dying. Either the left or right hook completely dies and no amount of charging fixes them. I think Sennheiser just put a MCCX adapter out there too
@@GabrielIgnacio I agree that is an option that I have looked at but I also agree with the other comment, it's a little dated and if he went through 3 he could have gotten something really nice for the money he spent on them
Really want to see your thoughts on more of the recent IEM's that came out. I currently have the Starfield, Hola and Zex Pro in my collection. Ranked in order of how good they are.
Despite having higher end IEMs and open back headphones, I love the starfields and pull them out on occasion for a chill listening experience. Great passive isolation on those with comply foam tips, and they take well to EQ in the high freq to bring out a little more detail/clarity, as they can be veiled up there. I'm treble sensitive though, so the fact hat I find them a little rolled off in the high end might explain why they're so polarizing. They must sound totally dark and muffled to people that aren't treble sensitive. I find 80% of IEMs to be sibilant and spicy in the 7k+ regions without EQ or tip rolling.
I hope Truthears can make great budget IEMs that can compete with KZ and CCA. Those companies are seemingly unable to make balanced IEMs so here’s to Truthears for filling in that gap. 😂👍
Hey Crin you forgot about the VK4s- they were good pre-revision, like REALLY good. I still treasure my pair, even though I’ve largely moved on to bigger and better IEMs.
I still have a vk4 og, funny enough I pitted them against the cca's few days ago going through old gear. They surely don't get the same amount of appraisal as the cca cra did. They completely annihilated the cca's in every department.
Crin. Please do a video on the MOST COMFORTABLE IEM options. How do you you maximise comfort? Which tips are best? What are the DIY options, there are some good ones, and if not, what's the best value? Also, is there a high quality cable WITH A MIC? Even if you don't, I'll keep watching despite your dreadful potty mouth.
Two questions: Are there plans to add measurements of Austrian Audio and neumann headphones to the database (like the x60 by AA or the ndh20) There are so many buy guides out there. But not really a lot for FOH engineers. And of course i could go for dt770 pro or ath m50x but maybe we all miss some amazing headphones because we are just buying what everyone else buys
@@burns0100 without a doubt! It is, however, a headphone a lot of engineers use for whatever reason. Mainly in the industry sector and electric music as far as i know.
I think if the brand dethrone your collab, you should be able to put that collab in the ranking list, even more if is the same brand. But guessing now, Salnotes Zero should be in B+ tier and Truthear Zero in B+ tier 🤣
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention… Nice Mic! I knew you were legit when I saw the TLM102 with the correct shock mount. On another note… have you seen this $1000+ Technics IEM? Forgive me if you’ve already reported on this but when i saw that price, it was about $900 more than i would’ve expected from that brand in 2023 in the IEM space. Are they worthy? Happy Saturday & Highest Regards as Always.
thanks for releasing this, my MMCX cable broke off and rendered one of my ER2XR drivers completely useless ( i couldn't remove it and in trying to do so, i broke the pin inside lol) so i'll prob pick one of these up as a replacement and maybe i'll try to somehow buy 1x driver for er2xr as replacement at some point lol
That feeling when the hola dethrones the chu that hasn't been the $20 king for about a year when the zero came out and then taken out by the DPS and then taken over by the Tangzu wan'er
Starting in the hobby. Bought an S12, a KZ ZS10 Pro X, and a Tin C2. The S12 is really good, the others total underwhelming. Yet I can’t find a situation where I take the S12 over my AirPod Pro 2. Wanted an IEM that can punch significantly above the AAP2 at under the cost. Does that exist?
I got some Holas, and they're actually really really good. Way better than Moondrop Chus, which are also good value, but 3x heavier and constantly fall out.
Crin you're not a shill, please review your own headphones. We trust you to be objective. We also don't mind you making money. Please have affiliate links.
Real talk bro I wanna see his collab versions in the rankings dammit, that will definitely sway me more to purchase one of his collabs. I havent watched his other videos yet I just found out his channel yesterday but I really like the site he made but why the hell wouldnt you post your own IEM's in the rankings cmon fuck that shit put em up there dammit.
While my personal favorite budget IEM is still the Salnotes Zero, my default recommendation for anything below 50$ (heck maybe even 80$) would be the Tangzu Wan'er. I feel like if those 2 IEMs were released in early 2022 with better build and accessories for like 60-80$, people would still find it's worth the money
Got truthhear hola like last year I hated it but after few months of use I can say it sounds more detailed and has a good bass. Absolutely feeling proud seeing crinacle shouting out for 20$ iem.
What do you recommend between the ER2XR and the Hexa. I am a musician and I do plan on using them to do my profession so I'm leaning towards the ER2 but not entirely sure just because of how promising truthear is based on my experience with the zero.
For the competitive gamers: I tested the Truthear Hola on CSGO, i can hear footsteps and the direction they come from. I can also tell when something is behind me. 9/10 overall for FPS gaming. crazy value for $20

You definitly need to get your hands on the wa’ner. They are crazy good (for $20)

@Eduardo Mendes I know, at the end of the day either is just a budget pair, it's not like the lyra or the waner is 2k lol
Two small points of criticism though :
- Bass isn't the highest quality, it's not as tight as I'd like.
Thank you!

Waiting for a mini blessing 2 dusk 😀
have settled on dusk.. tried the variations but went back to dusk.. have Kato and need to get another dusk at some point and end at that.
Im torn between cadenza and hola

2024: "The sub $1 IEM market is not what it used to be"
Airplane earbuds x crin collab
Crin, I'd love to get a top picks for VR headphones from you.
VR has very specific needs from headphones:
ability to swap out cable with a short 3.5mm cable
stability on head (won't move around when being more active)
Immersive sound (my personal preference. VR is all about immersion to me)
Love the content!
I'm in the same situation, did you find a short cable?
@@JetSe77er I did, something like 8in double 3.5mm. My sennheisers need an adapter because they use a proprietary female jack
Got my parents each a set of Hexas with bluetooth receivers and they're really great for the price.
Hi. Which Bluetooth receiver did you buy? I am new to all IEMs and want to make a good start with Hexa. Also if you have any recommendations for cable with mic, I am all ears. Thanks!
I liked the red background. A back light in your direction can make you spot from it and everything will look even better. :)
Been rocking my Hexas for a while now... the problem is now I can't get anything better unless I spend considerably more...
A good planar like the timeless may be different enough to have for fun, but not necessarily a big upgrade
I can definitely afford them and as per Crin's opinion they sound good, but how is the build quality? I tend to clean my ears obsessively, but my current Moondrop Chu still get filled with ear wax or something way too often, which makes them sound too quiet. Is that the case for these too?

Bought the chu's a few months back. They are still working fine. Now that there are more options i already have some to choose from if they ever break. Im not an enthusiast so i dont have a refined hearing so they are enough for me.
The chu's so far:
The cable is a similar cable that you get with your phone when you buy a new one. (I also have a lot of earwax so thats also a factor to take in)
Alltogether i just wanted to get some good cheap earphones and i got them.
I’ve been playing around with ear tips and I think the Moondrop Spring Large tips brightens it up a bit so it’s no longer dark tilted. ☺️
------
So first off I am just a nooby to this hobby. 😅
Anyway up until right now, I’ve been using the Large Spring Tips for a couple days and I did note it being “dark-bright” (meaning some parts of it bright but others not so much), with a thinner bass.
@@Ausemere sorry for the wall of words. It’s a bit late and my brain ain’t too articulate atm.
@@athenovae It's explained perfectly, thank you!
the one big issue i see with iem's has to be their physical limitation. they are literally plugs in our ears. theres only so much audio parts that can be shoved into them before they just become in ears. the other issue has to be the health aspect. since they're plugs, they have a higher chance of causing tinnitus, or ear infection.
Are over the ears safer in that sense ?
80$ is the minimum for a bluetooth adapter, i don't think it can go cheaper without sacrificing stability and battery
I think Sennheiser just put a MCCX adapter out there too
u dont need audiophile quality sound while working out… just buy a cheap tws
My girls going to love that I'm buying new IEM's again
I hope Truthears can make great budget IEMs that can compete with KZ and CCA. Those companies are seemingly unable to make balanced IEMs so here’s to Truthears for filling in that gap. 😂👍

I got some Holas, and they're actually really really good. Way better than Moondrop Chus, which are also good value, but 3x heavier and constantly fall out.
Zetian Wu Heyday, Aful P5... Come on big guy
Yep! We All wanted AFUL PERFORMANCE 5 !')))
...and, may be Sound Rhyme SR5!)
@@_Pretender bqeuz winter better awful
@@zhanurdos BQEYZ Winter is better in term of sound then AFUL? I guess right?
Hello, 1 question, do we still need an external dac to improve the sounds further for gaming?
it's interesting how they're compared to ER2 (for $100 baseline) and 7Hz (Salnotes) Zero (for $20).
I'm a complete noob when it comes to this stuff, but I really enjoy these reviews, Crin.
But crin, roas.... I mean review Timmy iem! Lol
I like that u give honest opinion and say whatever u want to say. Keep it up!
When will you try out tangzu waner? How is it? It's been months!!
I have salnotes zero , i love it but for bassy and heavy metal music i am considering another iem, under 40$ what would you recommend
please make a video of the best sounding budget under 20$ IEMs
Got truthhear hola like last year I hated it but after few months of use I can say it sounds more detailed and has a good bass. Absolutely feeling proud seeing crinacle shouting out for 20$ iem.
New wideo, less gooo!!!
Not gonna lie truthear is my favorite new iem brand!!!
What do you recommend between the ER2XR and the Hexa. I am a musician and I do plan on using them to do my profession so I'm leaning towards the ER2 but not entirely sure just because of how promising truthear is based on my experience with the zero.
thumbnail looking fresh💀💀💀
Hola is resin chassis and metal faceplate.
Has the Hola been discontinued or something? I can't find it anywhere?
On your website, the Moondrop Chu also has an A+ Tone and C+ Technical rating but it isn't B+ (just B) like the Hola's rating at 11:45 😅
Haircut looking rizzed out bro, keep it up bro!
That target graph seems perfect
It's not "summit". It's more a mountain range.
Very important note here: HOLA packaging already correct the wrong text!
For the competitive gamers: I tested the Truthear Hola on CSGO, i can hear footsteps and the direction they come from. I can also tell when something is behind me. 9/10 overall for FPS gaming. crazy value for $20
THANKS MAN! Just needed to hear this :)
yo crin, you should consider focusing on wireless iem and make a dedicated rank list.
wireless iem actually has a big consumer more than average wired iem.
