That was terrific Thom & I totally agree that the TW's were one of the greatest bands ever! My very favorite by them is "End Of The Line"! Still hard to believe that three of them are no longer with us!

I don't know if you do guitar lessons in person or you ever did, but I have to say that you are the coolest teacher. A huge source of music for us who try to learn and of course in a small amount of time you manage to transmit all the beauty of these songs and point to us everything that is important to feel the music through the guitar.

It's always fun to watch your channel as your enthusiasm is infectious. I'm a pretty experienced player (80) and I can usually play along with you instantly. I think it's the international aspect that attracts me as I'm British but play in bands in Prague made up of many nationalities including Czechs. According to him this song was inspired by George seeing a notice on a packing case.

Thanks Thomas, I really enjoyed all these guys and you can tell they really enjoyed it especially George doing a little jig there. Poor George never seemed happy with the Beatles or his wife of that time. Alot of guitarist think they have to play lightning fast to play a song when simple can be just as good especially with the right guys. Great lesson like always, Peace.

@Phil McCrackin honestly dude I'm not the right person to answer that .. but I did saw it in some jazz chord progression .. therefore, my initial thoughts are it's belong in jazz family chords 😅

Cause there are so many guitars you can play it many ways. I like the picking version you’ve suggested for the walk down base line and chords, I think your Roy Orbison pre chorus is a good way to play it to particularly with a band. Although I’d probably revert to the accoustic chorus pattern which I’ve always played as uududu sort of a backwards normal pattern.
Thanks for doing it this way. It’s a great insight to thinking about it again. 👍
