Absolutely love this guitarsolo! Tabs available for all patrons here: rb.gy/gis6e
Just discovered your channel! Love it! Have you tried this riff? ruclips.net/video/-xssnp7R51A/видео.html
Man, I love that tune!
Can't really call Spin Doctors a one hit wonder band though. I count at least 3 hits, for what it's worth...
That whole Pocket Full of Kryptonite album is fantastic. Way underrated and forgotten about a lot of the time.
Shenkman is a hell of a guitar player.
Absolutely perfect video lesson for intermediate/advanced players. RUclips is full of either ppl playing parts without explaining them, or breaking them down incredibly slowly. This video is prefect for people who know their stuff, and you're saving them a bit of hassle on the transcription side, and finally offering a practice run at medium tempo at the end. Perfection.
I love that solo!! Brings me back to my tiny-me years.
EXCELLENT...Super fun song, makes me feel good...everytime I listen to it!!!
This Guitarist, Eric came from a Musical Family & was an Accomplished Guitar Player by age 10. Yes 10, According to sources on the NET.
Excellent! Bring on more 90s content! The most under appreciated and diverse music era.
Queued up Kryptonite for my morning routine. Thanks Jimmy Olsen!
Oh, really. You have a nice custom.
great solo...great job figuring it out and explaining it as well
That was great Thom! If you haven't done so already, I would love to see you cover the guitar part that Ernie Isley does on "Who's That Lady"! Hope that you & your family are doing well! 👍👍🎸🎸
You’ve been giving great ideas for songs. I have my heavy more original band, but right now I’m also filling in for a cover while the guitarist is out taking care of his ill wife, so hearing these songs helps me with suggestions!
Awesome lesson!👍
Lovely! More 90s guitar please!
What a fantastic channel I discovered today.
Totally enjoyable....even if I can't do it! BRAVO!!
love that song!!
Fuckin superb,as per usual…damn!
A riff is an ID card hook for the song no matter the number of the notes playing❤️🔥
Brilliant
Perfect! Thank you
I forgot just how catchy that tune is. They must have made a squillion on that.
Espectacular solo muy rítmico y embebido en el ritmo
One hit wonder?? Pilgrim, they also had Little Miss Can't Be Wrong!
Definitely not a one hit wonder around here. So many people had this CD in the car back then.
”this CD in the car back then” ←Haha! I agree with that! Because, recently young people don't drive, especially in Japan. Also, they don't have and bring CD in a car, right? I have had many cassette tapes in past! Also I played "two princess" in my college band in 90's in Japan. I love this song forever.
At the very least they also had little miss can't be wrong as well, really not a one hit wonder.
Nice
Could you please break down the guitar playing of Richie Sambora. This dude is underrated!!
Like your guitar pick ,which brand is it ,and the video great as well
I love songs that seem simple till you play them and realize there is much more going on. Tom Petty is good at that.
excellent mate! your vidéo are good and, strangely, i understand so well your english! where you're from dude ?
hello from France... le sud-ouest!
Great solo Is Like , Fastball the way
Little Miss next!
Should do something from Buckcheery while your at it
great video pilgrim. how come youre doing the song again
Hey Guitar Pilgrim, there is a band called Clutch, they have amazing riffs, i recomend the cong "ELECTRIC WORRY" Please here it, if you need i already did the backing track of this song in my channel, i love all your videos, thank you, i hope some day you tell us your real name... 😁
Dude they weren’t one-hit-wonders. What about ‘Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong’??!?!
Two-hit-wonders then?
Not that i'm a huge spin doctor's fan although I do like them.
They had 3 hits I can think of off the top of my head. 2 princes, Little miss cant be wrong, and superman-Jimmy olsens blues.
With 2 princes having the weakest guitar riff out of the 3. All good just saying the other 2 have dominant riffs.
One hit wonder??!!
Wasn't Little Miss Can't Be Wrong a hit as well?
Small hit in the Netherlands if I remember correctly. Always liked that album
Heb je deze niet al eerder geupload?
Great video but I’m a bit confused because the riff you’re playing seems more like a chord progression to me but hey it’s got a fantastic solo so it’s no big deal.
That’s not a riff. It’s a chord progression.
The two can be the same thing.
@@GordonPavilion well as long as everyone in the band knows what you talking about. Hey John play that riff ok Paul.
What is wrong with ppl these days? That ain’t a riff dude. Calling that a riff is like calling a dog a cat because they’re both pets. IT’S A CHORD PROGRESSION.
This is such an idiotic comment.
@@whenisasnakeatail4933 when is a tail a snake? We don’t call it that for valid reasons.
He's European. Maybe a little difference in lingo??
I think one thing that we can agree on, he's a Helluva guitar player.
Relax, in 5 days you'll be over your period.
@When is a snake a tail?
#smokeonthewater
Dude Simple, if you can whistle it then it is riff. If you can’t it’s a chord progression. The key note of each of chord is creating the riff melody bit. I expect it is the bass note here, desending
This kind of music is not my style. My style of guitar playing . I find this to be almost an annoying sound of music. I lean more toward the style of finger style guitar is more my speed. I like to make music that sounds beautiful things I can play by myself without a band. Not to be bragging, but after 50 years of playing this instrument, I know what I like and what I don’t like and to me I just don’t care much for this kind of music. It’s sounds more like noise than music, so I really don’t like it. Sorry to say that just my opinion have a great day.🎸😄🎼🎶🎵🎸
Another quality vid Thom. Please look at the Seahorses, Love is the law soon?
They had a few hits.
Even if it was one; their one hit> your no hits
Not a riff. It's the basic fucking chord progression.
