This is a Masterpiece. The Red Dirt Girl album is one of the best albums ever produced. The sound, and The whole atmosphere of the album is just perfect. In my humble opinion.

Emmylou has a real song writing gift, even if she admits that it's a difficult and uncooperative gift. If you have a chance listen to "New Orleans" on her new album "Hard Bargain", that is great song craft. Wunsch
