Nintendo Switch Joy-Con Charge Dock Fix (No Lights)

Thanks for this it helped a lot. There is now a firmware update on the Hori website to fix this with their models.

My firmware is up to date yet i am still having this issue.
after updating the firmware all 4 of my controllers will no longer charge when hooked up to my laptop.

@@rickje1397 I guess you have gone to the hori website and updated the docks firmware? The laptop isn’t may not hold enough power to charge 4 controllers. What happens when you use it plugged into the switch dock?

@@atki81 I have tried using a charger block aswell, the lights would randomly turn off or never even turn on

@@rickje1397 I’d ask the retailer or manufacturer for an exchange. Mines worked perfectly since I did the update and have it plugged in to the usb on my switch dock.

You're welcome. I have also found, if you wait long enough, it will self correct. No idea how long that takes though.
