For this video, I'm going to talk about songs that anyone who has heard the song can tell that the artist clearly made the track for radio play. Whether the song has poppy production, a generic/motivational subject matter, the overall FEEL of the song is just something that would appeal to the casual listener.

I disagree about C4 being the worst Carter album… aside from it being my favorite, I love all of the Carter albums and consider it Wayne’s best series because of how diverse they are and how there’s something for everyone on each Carter. But C4 holds a special place in my heart.

But he has a new verse on this be lycal lemonade album where he actually sounds more natural like his XXL freestyle, or at least he didn’t play into that whole “Baby voice” shit as much in this one. You have to remember Jay-Z wasn't known outside of the East Coast or hip hop heads, while it might not have been the commercial success they were looking for, it made some noise.
