Just patched my drywall from ‘digging’ the builder wire out. Drywallers drywalled the wires inside and when I went to install the door 😮😮😮 oh snap! But I knew where they were from all the pictures I took throughout the building process. 😂 Might think about this new sensor.

Hello, does the beeping of the sensor stop when the car fully into the garage? If it does than you can use this as a audio guide when to stop. Great video.
Yes. It only beeps when something is in the way.

The Infinity Shield sensors just replaced my existing sensors. They are wired to the garage door opener, that’s what you saw me plug into the outlet.
Yeah, about the cost of the new garage door opener so if I was upgrading my current garage door opener, I would have to buy that and I would have to buy this
I believe they will become the new standard and sold with openers someday, but for now yes they are sold separately.

We have our door set to close after being open for 5 minutes because KIDS. We’ve run into situations where we don’t remember to hit hold and the door shuts on the lift gate of our vehicles. I wish this was available now and not in January when I won’t want to be in my freezing garage. 😢

It seems like it would be a really good idea to let you know when to stop pulling forward if you want the door to close near the end of your vehicle right? Or does the sense area have a very soft edge?

Yes to both. Leave the beeper on and stop when it turns off.
I feel ya could have save the $$ and used mirrors with the original sensors😅 be cool to see the pros and cons to each🤙
Mirrors would be really hard to do.

No. Just on or off. I leave it off.
