I recently started watching Friends and I immediately liked the Gunther character, probably one of the best side characters in sitcom history. Now, this kind of thing is terrible when it happens to ANYONE, but it deeply saddens me to see someone who's work has given me a lot of joy go through this. He really doesn't deserve it, as does nobody else.
I sincerely hope things somehow work out for you James, and thank you so much for the laughs.
Lucky you, you get to enjoy all the episodes from new. Most of us know all the words. It's terribly sad. I loved his charecter too. He was connected to Pheobe and her "hipster friends", l always thought of him as such a main character, like Janice.

Gunther's message is incredibly important. If it weren't for regular PSA testing, I wouldn't have known my PSA was rising. An MRI identified a significant anomaly, and a targetted prostate biopsy confirmed cancer. I had no symptoms even though the cancer was already in the final stage before spreading. Testing saved me from a terminal diagnosis.
Bless him, I can imagine how scared he feels but I hope he never gives up on his life, I hope he is strong.
My father had severe cancer for around a year from October 2016-November 2017 as he died as it turned extremely severe.

I am 54 and have stage 4 terminal …..last 2 out of 3 years… chemo they gave me two years to live…..a year ago…..my best advice to you like me ….DONT GIVE UP. BELIEVE, BELIEVE ,BELIEVE……my prayers are not for me today …..ALL FOR TOU …….BE STRONG…..YOU GOT THIS !
Thank you for insisting on the word BELIEVE. Everybody must know this fact: what heals you is BELIEF. The surprising thing here that i'm talking science science science and not any other stuff!!!

Man... I'm it breaks my freaking heart that in 2021 cancer is still a fucking problem. We have the tech, we have the great mind's. Hoping soon that cure's, ACTUAL CURE'S are out there for you all. much love, and I wish the best for you both and to become completely cured.
@@flash7308 Gerson therapy is a cure, not 100% of the time, but it cures a lot of people.
Hi Michael or should I call you Gunther. When I watch the reruns of FRIENDS I laugh so hard when you are in the scenes. The crush you had on Rachel was hilarious and your smart wit when you talked to Ross was so funny . You were one of my favorite cast members and I can not thank you enough for all the laughs. My brother had prostate cancer and yes it is horrible but keep strong and I will keep you in my prayers.

Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan, is going to start a clinical trial on androgen therapy resistant prostate cancer. Probably, they will be enrolling patients.
