DCS saved me from a dark pit I found myself in, something to immerse in during the evenings and nights. Thank you ED, for helping this avgeek rediscover themselves!
So glad that we could have helped you in this way, thank you! -NineLine/Norm
Dear Sir, thank you for your moving words. We are very privilieged to part of your life. Kind regards, Nick
Same here
Thank you, ED, for making this fantastic world that I can't stop playing..
Our pleasure, thanks for sticking with us! -NineLine/Norm

🎆happy 15th anniversary 🎆
Y’all are the reason I’m so into aviation! I’ll be here till the end
Glad to hear it, thanks for all the support!
If dcs continues like this there will be no end 😅. Only the human end
Here's to another 15 years!
Congratulations on making a great sim, an outstanding community, and here's to another decade and a half of excellence!
Thank you so much, and we couldnt agree more! -NineLine/Norm
Congratulations! If someone had showed me this trailer when I was a kid (playing aces over europe and fleet defender), I would have been in complete shock. All my life I’ve been searching for the ultimate flight sim, the closest to the real thing, and DCS gave me not only that, but the opportunity to build and tell stories that had only existed in books I’ve read with great admiration. Here’s to another 15 years of dreams coming true!
Brought me slight tears in my eyes :') . DCS is really one the best if not the best piece of software I ever discovered in the internet. It delivers everything I ever wished for in a fligth simulator and the development is nothing short of incredible. I will stay here till the end and I'm looking forward to the future of DCS. Thank you for developing such a software with that amount of dedication!!!
Thank you so much for the very kind words, we look forward to continuing this journey with all of you! -NineLine/Norm
Could not have said it better, i feel the same
Thank you ED for making our dreams come true! :)
Thank you for allowing us to do so! -NineLine/Norm
From Flanker 2.0 to LO-MAC to DCS:A-10C to the DCS: World we have today, it's been a heck of a ride.
It sure has, thanks for coming along with us! -NineLine/Norm
Well I must say that I never felt the same feeling as with the original Flanker 1,5 serie. You could let your wingman go back to base, and follow him in tight formation to land as a pair. That was fun. You would sweep over Ukraine and shoot BVR all day and night long. The flight dynamics were not bad at all. Just enough system complexity for my taste, using all kind of weapons.
Don’t forget Flaming Cliffs
@@samuelselnegro474 I didn't play that one

Congratulations to the entire Eagle Dynamic Team!!! As a relatively new member to the community and owner of a handful of modules, campaigns, terrains....I'm truly excited about reaching the point where I am able tobegin flying DCS. Although Ihave mutliple ratings/certifications as general Aviation pilot of more than 30 years....DCS still remains what I yearn to learn.
If the need for voice overs ever arise, I would be happy to submit dialog in different tenors, cadence and in the "spirit" of the moment required. Being in a local band they played local gigs would usually disqualify me from the start but I also had my own live radio program for nearly 3 years in the past....have recorded commercials.... advertisements...Oh, with the band, we did cut a short album in Michael McDonald's studio near Nashville, TN and played a weekend gig at the historic
Whisky A Go-GO on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood a few summers ago....
ps. If ever need a female Russian speaking voice actor or male actor my wife and my step-son (27yrs old) are both born and raised in the former USSR, lived in Minsk, Belarus...where my mother-in -law still resides....She performed with the Belarussian national Theatre Company both in the orchestra and vocalist....She was on State TV (can't remember the name) often when she was part of the company...
CONGRATS AGAIN AND GOD BLESS!!!
Every time with these cinematics I get goosebumps
Its so beautiful
I remember how excited I was for the A-10 back before release. There was one video I remember watching over and over where there were two A-10’s flying low past the camera and they shot mavericks at a column in the road, flying over it and popping flares. I watched that over and over and couldn’t wait. I remember thinking of how awesome it would be to be able to fly an Apache over that awesome terrain.. and many years later, here we are! I have been able to come close to doing what I’ve always wanted through DCS, flying in VR. I can’t wait to see what you have for us in the future!
Thank YOU, ED, for making this. I failed the tests to become a real pilot back in the 90s, due to my eyes. I discovered DCS last year and it feels like i am able to finally live the dream. I have no words to say how grateful i am.
I have been here since Flanker 1 and am very thankful for the hard work by ED and the community. Lots of work to still do and I hope that it never ends!
Thank you for sticking with us all these years, and here is to many more to come! -NineLine/Norm
You guy's are truely awesome, and some of the rare development teams (these days) who actually care about their community, best of luck to you guy's and to 15 more awesome years of dcs!!
Thank you so much, we appreciate you all! -NineLine/Norm
Dammit this sim is amazing. Completely transformed my spare time in the past couple of years, and I love you for it. Please keep on being awesome. ❤🇬🇧
We will keep being awesome as long as we have awesome customers like yourself! -NineLine/Norm
The new rain effect in the Hornet is very beautiful.
was a working mod couple patches ago, glad to see they'll implement it!
Is it already in the open beta or a future update?
Congrats on 15 years ED. Been playing since LOMAC. Its quite amazing what this has grown into.
Can't wait for Vulkan.
Thank you for flying with us! - Scott / bignewy
The growth in quality over the last 15 years is astonishing. Thanks to everyone involved, the results are truly impressive. Bought LOMAC and have been hooked since then. When Black Shark first came out it was initially only available in russia, I was so keen to fly it I bought a money transfer card so that I could convert my pounds into rubles to buy the license, and went through the whole online transaction not being able to understand a word - did it at work because the dial up at home was so bad! Things have gotten a lot easier since then.
Это вам спасибо, ребят! Лучший симулятор!
Спасибо за поддержку! -NineLine/Norm

Thank you everyone at Eagle dynamics for your hard work and dedication, here’s to the next 15 years 🍻
Thank you! -NineLine/Norm
After 7 years and 3600 flight hours in DCS can legitimately confirm that DCS is THE best. 15 years ago aviation enthusiasts could only read books about aviation, see stationary planes in Flight museums or on rare occasions visit Flight show. Now we can fly those planes ourselves.
these trailers/cine clips never cease to amaze me 🤣 Congratulations on 15 yrs!
Thank you so much 😀 -NineLine/Norm
I still remember when it was called Lock-on. Thank you for all these years !
Thank you, Eagle Dynamics. You’ve allowed me to live out my dream and still have a wife, family, and stable job. It is an absolute pleasure to purchase and fly your art.
Thank you, all People working on DCS for making OUR Dream come true.😊
Hey Eagle Dynamic, congrats to 15th years, I want to thank you to all who are involved and to the Company, respect for your passion and work. I know, it is also a business, we all work for money, but you ED don't do it only for money, it is in your blood and your heart is on the right side. I will support you guys forever, I would even pay monthly subscription (like Star Citize has) to make sure, you will be able to continue.
I was in the wrong time and place, so I was not able to become a pilot, but because of you ED guys, I can taste how it is, to be a pilot, to be more specific, TOMCAT PILOT... big thanks to HeatBlur, you guys did a job I can't describe, and @Reflected, your 3 Tomcat Campaign are all I ever needed to be trained like F-14 Pilot. You are such wonderful spirits.
Thank you ;) from Switzerland
From one Swiss to another, vielen Dank, merci, grazie. Kind regards, Nick
Thank you ED, Thank you to all developers! Thinking it can not get better, you do it. I wish you all the best, stay healthy. I am looking for new stuff to come. Greetings Thomas
Thank you Thomas, we will continue to do our best. Kind regards Nick
Felt a tear at the sight of the old Flanker from SSI, had a demo of it on my first ever computer and it was my first contact with flight sims...Then LOMAC and all the steps along the way...Thank you ED for bringing us together, and thank you to this wonderful worldwide community, from the developers that took it upon themselves to craft whole full-fidelity modules with tiny teams to the guys that take 2 minutes to give a helpful tip to the noobs (or guys like me who get the time to enjoy this sim once every few months). Here's to another 15 years and then more!
Happy anniversary. On to the next 15 years!! 🤟
Thank you!! 😁-NineLine/Norm
Started as a grade schooler with LOMAC. DCS is one of the few games that I truly believe has unlimited replayability. If I get tired of flying Apaches, then I can immerse myself in carrier ops, or WWII, or get into the weeds of the A-10C IIs systems.
And since you kinda have to knock off the rust and relearn a module every time you transition, it's truly unlimited replayability.
Thank you ED, DCS has done so much for me, a hobby, friends, my favourite pastime and so much more. 🎉🎉
Than you Sir, we are privileged to be part of your life. Kind regards Nick
Thanks to all ! Since Flanker 2.0 what a ride ! It helped me to pass trough COVID without mental illness , great medicine ! I'm 64.
From a ex Fulcrum pilot , a big THANK YOU for the dedication and the amazing results. Making me feel like the old times once more when flying the old gals !!! Way to go ED way to go ! Would love some full fid FC3 transformations in the future :) We all LOVE you guys !!!!
Are you a former MiG-29 pilot?
@@user-54goda was in the training to get to operational status , never finished the complete 29 course for reasons but have time in Fulcrum UB yep .
Happy 15 years Dcs ! The best of the best . Making dreams come true .
Absolutely amazing video! Happy 15th B-Day!❤
i remember the days where my dad bought me a copy of Lock On in a local store...still have it...a very long journey till today...thank you ED for DCS World!
Always interesting to hear how people got their start, thanks for sharing! -NineLine/Norm
Congratulations, what a fantastic journey!
Thank you ED and happy birthday ! Been here since Flamming Cliff 2 ! it’s been an amazing ride, and i look forward to seing what you have in the pipes for the years to come !
Thank you! -NineLine/Norm
Hey guys, congratulations on your anniversary! I’ve been flying with you guys since the original Flanker, so must be something like 28 years. Flew it all through flight training, really made learning in the real world like second nature. Now I’m driving the big jets around, and I like to think DCS played a large part in that. Still come home to fly the sim on my days off. But enough about me, you guys are literally the best at what you do. Keep up the amazing work, keep pushing those boundaries, and I’ll keep buying every single thing you create! Here’s to another 15 (or 28) years!
Dear Sir, many thanks for all your support, we work for you... Kind regards, Nick
I was hooked when i flew the A10 in Lock On, in 2003, 20 years ago. Its been a great ride, thanks Eagle Dynamics.
Dear Sir, thank you for sticking with us. We really appreciate your passion and support. Kind regards, Nick
Congrats ED on 15 years 👊🏼🫡🎉🥳 I’ve been with you almost from the start with the Lock on products Black shark & Warthog. Love ya work. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻👍🏻🙃🙃
DCS is like a world to escape in, it truly has been the right game for me and I can not stop playing it, thank you for making this world for us!
DCS is the most immersive sim ive ever played. It has changed my life and made me rediscover my love for fighter jets. Im so stoaked for the future and what will come to the sime. DCS for life!!! Thank you for making the greatest sim ever!
I have to say you guys rock , I’ve loved learning the different a/ c, my computer broke so I have to wait to be able to get a new one, and I can’t wait to get in the air again. Thanks for all you do!
It’s been my dream since about 1975 to fly the F-4 Phantom, F-14, A-4, F-5, A-7, and so many others. Thanks for bringing that dream to such a great simulation. And in VR, is beyond my dream.
Started my adventure with you, on Lock on.
What a journey we accomplished together. Thank you each and every person involved at ED, or third party developer. YOU make our dreams come true.
We own you big time. Thank you. You are the best !!
Dear Sir, we are very touched. Thank you for trust and loyalty. Kind regards Nick
Thank you for all the hops so far, many more are to come. As are the hours by the CAD, cursing over the 3D-printer, shrieks of pain when the soldering tip slips... and the cries of joy when the cockpit does what it should - stay in the background as the clouds disappear below and all that exists is blue sky and you.
💙💙💙
This made me cry. Really brought back memories of when my father bought me my first copy of Flanker when I was a child. Thank you Eagle Dynamics for always being there. For creating an escape from the problems of everyday life.
Thank you for your moving story. We work for you... Kind regards, Nick
Never play the simulation because i dont have a good computer for the job. But every day i watch the new videos from Growling Sidewinder and LongShot. DCS is the best.
Thank you ED for creating the sim I always dreamed about growing up! I recently built my first ever custom built pc just so I could play again after not being able to for 2 years and I couldn’t be happier! I’m looking forward to see where the next 15 years takes us.
Best simulator ever! Thank-you Eagle dynamics! Yall are the real ones!
Congratulations ED, y´all guys are awesome, keep looking forward.
Ever since I started playing I haven’t been able to stop, it has helped make my dream of flying the F-14 reality, in a way that I never could’ve dreamed of before. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication!
Thank you for the kind words! -NineLine/Norm
Nice! Thank you for bringing this great sim to our homes! :)
Been here since 2009... Proud to still be here! Thank you ED
S!
Thanks Mav for being on the journey with us, we hope you continue to enjoy for many more years. Best regards - Scott / bignewy
Been playing this sim since the 1995 Su-27 Flanker game was first released. Its a love hate relationship and I remember chatting with Norm and Matt on the Combatsim forums (amongst others) and how things were being hashed out for a 'flight sim OS' of sorts. Long, long time ago and way different times.
Congrats to the ED team on the 15 years+
Dear Sir, very impressive. Thank you for the trust and loyalty. Kind regards, Nick
I got goosebumps when I heard Digital Combat Simulator, you feel the meaning, the passion to deliver, the love for this platform. 2023 is great year for DCS.... TONIGHT I raise the glass to you! Virtual Pilots and creators, devs and passionate community! Cheers 🍻 👏 ✌️ 🥂
Yea it's Nick again, we need more Nick in our lives.
To me, his voice doesn't fit the video. It ruins it. :(
I am not play with DCS, but i love all simulators. GG for the 15 years!
Thank you ED for your hard work, countless hours, programming skills and patience when something doesn't work. In the end you have accomplished a work that is second to none. I have already invested a lot and will continue to do so. Keep it up and take care of yourselves. Thanks again. Without you, heaven would be empty. cheers
Thank you for the kind words and for flying with us, we hope you enjoy for a long time. Best regards - Scott / bignewy
Congrats for the 15 years! I always wish for the games success!
I don't play DCS, mainly as i don't own a flight stick. (I know it's not necessary but I still think I should get one first.) But it is still my dream to play it properly one day! This however, gave me goosebumps! The cinematic and everything was so cool, that it makes me want to play now!
There's so many aircrafts i dream to fly, and the one that I will forever love, I'm still waiting on. Can't wait for the F-4 Phantom II to come in! I'll get that no matter what! lol
Thanks ED for the memories, been with y’all 13 years 🎉.
Nice to see "SU-27 Flanker" from Flying Legends / Eagle Dynamics at 0:40. 1995... It's still running on my DOSBox. I sometimes fire it up for the nostalgia. ❤
When I first run DCS, I was amazed that the Su-25 had pretty much the same keyboard mapping as the Su-27 back then in 1995. You know, it's just a detail, but I noticed that and I felt like home.
I've been in this Journey since my Lo:Mac days. Thank you for everything you've done and surely looking forward for the future.
Every time I jump into the virtual cockpit of my favourite modules I feel like the wide eyed 10 year old staring in awe at the RAAF fighter roaring overhead. Thank you ED, you guys have made my wildest dreams come true.
Dear Sir, many thanks indeed. Kind regards Nick
Thank You ! youve insprised many and youve done a lot of the community of milsimmers
Amazing 15 Years of development!!! Great job with the trailers/clip videos They never fail to amaze me
Glad you enjoyed it!
Congratulations on 15 years! 🎉😊
I've been there from the original blackshark CD and have loved the journey so far! It's mind blowing how far things have come and I can't wait to see where they go. This game goes from strength to strength.
One half of why I love DCS is all about the gameplay, visuals, and immersion. The other half? Videos like these. Thanks!
I just got DCS.
All I have to say is wow.
Thanks Eagle Dynamics!
Dear Sir, thank you for joining the community and for your trust. Kind regards, Nick
It's kind of crazy and that War Thunder looks today like DCS was about 10 years ago.
Not trying to knock on WT for each game/simulator there is their own. (I used to spend a ton of time playing WT)
It's just crazy how far the DCS have gone!
Well done ED! Thank you!
I'm so thankful this game exists. I'm a complete aerospace nerd and slowly learning all the different systems of the F-16 has been some of the most fun I've had playing games in ages.
Congratulations with this awesome anniversary!
Thank you so much for all the effort the last years. Keep it up. God Speed 🤙
Happy (belated) Birthday! Thank you for the amazing work you've done, and keep doing. We will all be here for this journey of development!
Thank you ED for all the work you all put into DCS. Its so much more than just a game and im ready for the future
Thanks ED! You've given me friends, a community, and some awesome experiences over the past 5 years. Can't wait to see what's next! - Mongoose, Wingman Finder/ASC
Dear Sir, indeed this Community is wonderful. Many thanks for your support, kind regards, Nick
Congratulations Nick, Matt, Newy and the entire team at ED! You make incredible things. Can't believe it has been 15 years already!
I've been with you since LoMac and I will tag along for as long as mind and body will allow.
Here's to (at least) another 15 years!
Thank you Sir, we are all very touched by your warm words. Kind regards, Nick
The 4 that I've been a part of are great. I joined in 2019 and was shocked to hear that DCS has been around since about 2008/9. The best simulator I have ever experienced by far. Ever since Jane's F-15 I've been looking for a great combat flight sim, but they just went away. I'm looking forward to the final product and be a veteran of DCS like some of you old heads are.
Thank you Eagle dynamics, thank you for i spiring me to be the pilot i am today
Wow! Congratulations and thank you so much for this life changing experience. Today is a major milestone birthday for me, and it's extra cool that it falls on the same day. Just about to hop in for a flight now! As a professional video game software engineer for many years, I'm very impressed with your work. Here's to another 15 years and beyond!
Dear Sir, thank you you for your kind words. Much appreciated. Yours Nick
Fantastic as always! Here's to another 15 yrs! 👍
You guys are doing a great job. Keep it up. Professional pilots fly your simulators.
It's been an impressive evolution, especially the last several years with the number of modules, 3rd party developers, and huge core engine updates which make the sim' really shine. Looking forward to the ongoing progress, and thanks for the sale celebrating the milestone!
I remember playing a pre release of black shark at Birmingham NEC, you're telling me that was 15 years ago?! I remember describing the vision for DCS. it's come true in a beautiful way
Wow where has the time gone? Thankyou for giving us this masterpiece. You’ve done so much for us all
Thx ED !!! so much work done but also a lot to come. Keep Pushing hard !
Nice nod to the OG flanker and also 2.5....best sim period... Such an amazing journey.... Cheers ED!
Thank me for the years of support since 2008. Do it right NOW.
Been streaming DCS for about 3 years now. Built a great little community of mates, and still going strong. Keep making the magic happen ED.
Thanks for your support, what you do helps keep the dream alive! -NineLine/Norm
I have been a fan and customer of Eagle Dynamics for more than 15 years. Here's to another 15, Cheers!
Thank you for allowing me to fly my favorite fighter myself. 🛩
Thank you! DCS has come so far in the time I've been playing it and I'm looking forward to every update in the future.
Congrats! For another 15 years!!!
Thank you for making this amazing simulator for us!! Its nice to be celebrating 15 Years of DCS, also alongside 15 Years of iRacing all within a week of each other, my 2nd favourite simulator behind DCS.
Keep up the great work!
Thank you for the support! -NineLine/Norm
Thank you, ED, for the outstanding product and your long-lasting efforts - all the best for the community!
I picked up KA-50: Blackshark on boxed DVD at Best Buy for $20 waaay back then. It was everything I wanted in a combat sim. Bought the A-10c standalone when they released it, bought the warthog hotas, and it's been off to the races ever since.
Thank you, E-D, for making flight sims fantastic again, and please work more diligently at completing the various modules still needing finished. :D
