Brilliant explanation, this is exactly what I’ve been working on for about 6 months I’ve slowly been able to implement this on to the golf course, I’m 53 years old now 85 mph with 7 iron and 107 mph with driver . Thanks for explaining the sequencing spot on! 💯
I've reduced my backswing lately to about 60%~ (basically to the point where my left arm just gets completely horizontal but no further) this has taken off quite a bit of how much my body needs to rotate, which in turn will end up hindering my power, but man... I've been hitting everything great. Actually good compression and laser straight. And honestly I've only lost about 5-10 yards from my wedges through my irons. I don't mind that one bit.
Amazing video Ali. You make it look effortless to pick up additional speed without sacrificing accuracy. I have worked on my Speed Sticks for over 9 months and only manage to gain 5 mph with my driver. I guess I need to use your method of using the ground more and releasing the club at the correct time. I will work on the things you demonstrated in the video and I am sure the speed will come. Thanks again.
Exactly what im working on been struggling to get over 95 ish with driver and feel i need 100 minimum its the sequencing holding me back but hard to get out of old habits
Most people have no idea how fast they swing and this think need an expensive set up to find out, the best investment i made in my golf game when they came out 4 years ago was the garmin G80. its great at the range and also a full colour course monitor. you can swing away at the range and work out that waht you think is fast isnt ans when you do swing fast take that feeling and try to do it more and more.
Ali, I’d be interested in your thoughts on this speed instructional video, posted recently (m.ruclips.net/video/39jm6Q5cRNg/видео.html @ 14:55 in) it suggests the exact opposite movement of the arms is recommended.

Great video and superbly explained Ali thanks for sharing this is a major problem of mine. I have had lessons but can’t seem to fix this.

Excellent
Great advice as always,
Great explanation!
I like this drill. Has helped a bit moreso with driver but I still need that fast back and down swings to get good distance on irons.
Thank you very much!
Good tips again Ali. Thanks
Would you consider doing a rundown video of you practise enclosure one day pleaseeee
Sure thing!
If I can get too 74mph at 72 years almost I will be very very happy keep up the good work young man
Thank you Dave. Glad you enjoyed it.

5 mph is decent but a technique change will help as well.

Great video thank you Ali!!
You’re welcome
Great video mate!
Thanks Eric
Thanks for the good tip.
Hope it helps
Should we use the same technique with driver? I ask because with driver i sometimes come in too steep like I'm hitting irons
Try to keep your head behind the ball until impact, I wud guarantee you are moving your head forward on downswing with driver
Great tip thanks
Glad to help
Hit the center of the club face for improved ball speed too
Nice studio
75….y/o…..77mph…91 mph at the drive…I’m happy😊
You in the entrance of the bat cave? Lol

In the 74mph swing, you came up too soon.
