      The zx4rr isn’t nearly as bad as you make it out to be. It’s halfway between a 650 and zx6r, which has an actually aggressive position

    Thanks for the great comparison video. Both fun bikes from Kawasaki. I have a '21 Ninja 650 and for 20 years of riding motorcycles, it's perfect for my riding style, but can still easily get one into trouble with 127+ mph and 0 to 60 in 3.5 seconds. For the 4 gallons, I get 200 miles range, which is great. The low end power is able to lift the front up a bit with just the throttle fully opened from low gear. Very flickable and easy to control, which surprised me. A very practical, comfortable motorcycle.

    Or buy both and anything else you want. If you can afford it why not & you only live once (My mrs words so I don't feel bad about the $$ I spent lol) I purchased the 500 and zx4rr both in 40th anniversary and I even put money on 25 650 KRT but 650 i have to wait for (500 has extras eg sliders tank guards, cowl, radiator guard whereas zx4rr came with FK all) Australia the 650 is hopefully here October. Im still in easy break in period on them, so I can't really comment yet on performance or top speeds. Problem is zx4 isn't learner approved here (i have to wait a few months until I can legally take out zx4) the other two i can ride (Mrs agreed to ride so I'll make out one of the bikes was purchased for her lol Not that she'll believe that ❤)

    If even it was Ninja 650 vs Ninja 400 I'll would choose Ninja 400 as Ninja 400 has +2-3 kmph more per gear top speed and Ninja 650 has limiter on 213 and Ninja 400 has limiter on 216. So here I would anyday go for ZX-4R

    • @eirikaustad7580
      @eirikaustad7580 Год назад

      @@no_name4080 Not really. Unfortunately a Ninja 400 because of it's torque advantage actually can beat a ZX-4RR on track.
      Good rider on track prepped but still cheaper overall Ninja 400 can beat a good rider on a ZX-4RR with a exhaust.
      The ZX-4RR is a very good bike, I'm glad Kawasaki made it but compared to the ZX-6RR chassis and suspension it's lacking in quality.
      Which would be fine if it was lighter, it's a bit too heavy. Reduce it's weight but still being able to ride it on the street and have fully adjustable suspension in the front then it'll probably smoke the Ninja 400. However as it sits right not we can't ignore the torque advantage a P-twin like the Ninja 400 has, and we also need to remember that the Ninja 400 is also quite peaky, unlike the bigger Ninja 650 which is way more torquey. However the Ninja 650 is a bad bike, or at least a absolutely horrible Kawasaki Ninja bike. Shouldn't be compared, it should be out of production instead. Good torque is good, but it has no peaky power which is what a Ninja should have. It has the worst power and worst torque numbers, and is commonly compared to the way better, but of course less powerful Ninja 400, and not it's competitors.
      Kawasaki is such a cool manufacturer right now, the best currently, except for their middleweight 650cc bikes which suck compared to even the old and aging parts bin bike MT-07, and especially the new and great GSX-8S and Hornet 750, and if you got the money a Tuono660/RS660 or a Duke 890.
      I wouldn't say the Ninja 400 is obsolete as it's a very good bike for beginners, and unless you have money and you really want to rev the shit out of your bike with a cool sound then you should get the Ninja 400 and not the ZX-4RR as your beginner motorcycle. The Ninja 650 however has been obsolete from the start, garbage bike.
