- The pivot shift test reproduces the instability felt by patients with a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). To be useful the patient must be relaxed, have full extension and have an intact medial collateral ligament and iliotibial band.

I feel pains when twisting the feet inwards what does that mean? If the pcl is torned then there wont be pains but and damages pcl will cause pain?
