A similar rock band to this today is…. AC/DC. They had a big European tour this summer and I was fortunate enough to catch their finale in Dublin. Epic!
Back in black is one of those songs that's been everywhere. Movies, shows, commercials, sporting games, bars and AC/DC had a video game about the band and their songs. It was called guitar hero. The only band I can think of that's close to AC/DC sound has been around I believe since 2008 is Airbourne.

Brian Johnson sealed his position as the new frontman for one of the greatest bands of all time when this album was released. Also, the album "Back in Black" is actually the highest-selling hard rock album of all time, still today, after 40+ years.
The lead singer in this music video is Brian Johnson, who has been the lead singer of AC/DC since 1980 and the lead guitarist and co-founder of AC/DC is Angus Young.
In the summer of 2003 there was a 1 day charity concert in Toronto, where all kinds of bands came, Rolling Stones, The Guess Who, Rush, AC/DC, Sam Roberts etc. Attendance on paper was about 500,000 people, but was closer to a million. AC/DC absolutely rocked the house and stole the show. I'll never forget that day, was one of the best nights of my life. You can find footage on youtube
The singer you are watching is Brian Johnson - who is actually the band's 2nd singer. If you watch earlier videos of the band - you will see their first lead singer - Bon Scott - who died in 1980 from alcohol poisoning - he literally drank too much and passed out in his car and was found dead. Both singers are legendary and worth exploring more. As a side note - the band is officially listed as an Australian band - but the 2 co-founders - brothers Angus and Malcolm Young - are British by birth. Their family moved to Australia when they were boys. The lead guitarist you see in the video is Angus Young - he is wearing his trademark Australian / British "schoolboy uniform." It was meant to be ironic - a young, innocent schoolboy playing dangerous rock n roll tunes. His movements on the stage were meant to imitate the legendary American musician Chuck Berry from the 1950s. One last thing - Ozzy Osbourne's legendary song - Suicide Solution - is about Bon Scott's infamous struggle with alcoholism. Just some background on the band - i hope you continue exploring - and thanks for your reactions.
Hi pretty close actually just before Bon Scott they had another guy named Dave Evans but he never made it on the first album but that was the very first singer before Bon Scott

Hey Mia! ~Back in black, I hit the sack~ Released in the summer of '80, the song pays tribute to their original singer, Bon Scott, who died of alcohol poisoning in February of that same year (yes, another dead rocker). Ronald Belford Scott wasn’t actually AC/DC original singer. Dave Evans was the original lasting maybe 1 year They released a single and video clip ‘Can i sit next to you girl’
ACDC is a band that never changes their sound ( which is a great thing) and the lead guitarist gets his blues guitar style from Chuck Berry. You have to listen to all their albums starting with " High Voltage " album & work your way up.
Hi Mia, this song Back in Black was released on the album of the same name in the year 1980. This was the first album with this singer Brian Johnson. Their previous singer Bonn Scott had passed away earlier that year (hence the album title). A band today who is similar to AC/DC would be Airbourne, who are from Australia just like AC/DC.
There would be none of today's bands that compare to AC/DC. Then again I don't think anyone can compare to them. You hear them and automatically know it's them and nobody else.

Hi Mia, for us not so old people who grew up on AC/DC by the bon fires/ Keg parties living our best young lives....Who knew....Happy Thanksgiving to you and your loved ones...
Hell yeah Mia AC/DC is the only band like them. Their sound, and style are so original. Bon Scott was the original vocalist for AC/DC until his passing I believe in the 80s. Bryan Johnson took over, and for the past 30+years has continued the excellence of AC/DC. Check out Dirty Deeds done Dirt Cheap, Money Talks, Big Balls etc

Goodmorning Mia. They are from Australia. They had great success with the original singer Bon before he passed. You should watch "It's a Long Way to the Top" and see what a bagpipe can sound like in a rock band
I'd say that the italian band "Maneskin" is pretty similar. The band won Sanremo and the Eurovision 2021 with their song "Zitti e buoni" (shut up and keep calm). I'd suggest you to react to it :D If you prefer I believe they did also songs in english
In the 80's, in HIGH SCHOOL, I LOVED AC/DC, and I had no idea they weren't American, I thought it was the most AMERICAN ROCK AND ROLL, just like BAD COMPANY too
Just want to Add Here Mia is that Many of AC/DC's songs are Featured in Marvel Comics Movies...Principally "IRON Man"... 1 & 2...Which starred Actor Robert Downey Jr..as the Titled Character!!.. Anyways...As Always....You Look GREAT!!!!!!! *******
I went to a Mötley Crüe concert back in….86 (?) 😬 And we were headbanging because well that was the thing to do and I remember the next day feeling like I had a major neck injury like whiplash. I couldn’t turn my head left or right for nearly a week!
"preppy hippies!" haha well the truth is they are Australian.... and from the 70's ! so not too far off lol ! Their original singer Bon Scott was an amazing front man... IMO one of the best ever when it comes to R &R .. he had a sense of humor and playfulness that translated right through every syllable and facial expression at times. You should definately check out some of the bands early live performances. Also true story, they got their name AC/DC off an elecrtical adapter for a sewing machine that belonged to the sister of Malcom and Angus Young.. (or so I heard this was true so I'm gonna go with it!)
I remember when compact disc first started being sold, this album was one of the first to be available. Bought the album on disc on cranked it day and night. I was 14 going on 15. I'm 53 now
AC/DC's 1980 album 'Back in Black' is the top 5 biggest-selling record of all time at 25 million copies sold in the US alone... Many bands have tried to copy the AC/DC sound but have not even come close...
One of the top selling albums of all time, with Fleetwood Mac and Thriller and Eagles Greatest Hits. Produced by Mutt Lange who has three all time sellers in the top 50, with Shania Twain and Def Leppard.
I don’t think there IS a rock band today that can hold a candle to AC/DC. I’m not saying there aren’t at least a few good rock bands left - though way less than there used to be - but AC/DC is truly one of a kind.
Back in Black is off the 1980 album of the same name, which is the first album AC/DC released after the death of their original lead singer, Bon Scott. There was a very serious question at the time whether the band would actually come back or not, and in fact they very nearly did break up before they were convinced to carry on, eventually bringing Brian Johnson on to succeed Scott as lead singer. Another good song off that album to check out is Hells Bells, which was specifically a tribute to Scott. A couple similar bands to AC/DC are Jackyl, Krokus, and 1980s Judas Priest.
AC/DC is one of those bands that knows what they do well, and they do it over and over. Consistently bringing the energy! A more recent band that comes with a similar energy is Jet. Try "Cold Hard B**ch"
Mia, there is no-one today, other than themselves (they still tour) that sound like AC/DC! BUT if you want old school 70s/80s Real Rock in the last decade that kicks butt, and appeals to both modern and old school listeners, try any of these bands, all fronted by amazing female leads you would love: Lzzy Hale and Halestorm, The Warning, Plush, Dorothy and Liliac. Old school rock with a modern bent, they all sound awesome and really Rock Out. And the best thing of all, they are young and just starting their prime and still tour so you can see them someday. Enjoy, I do on a regular basis.
Stunningly Gorgeous as always, sweetcheeks! FunFact AC/DC is one of the bands that Metallica listened to and aspired too while they were still dreaming of becoming Metallica! Both Bands are phenomenal, Great content as always!❤
They look like hippies because AC/DC is old school Hard Rock (which I love). Marilyn Manson is inspired by Goth Rock and Shock Rock, so bands in those genres will look more like MM. If you want to see bands that look *really* nutty then you'll want to watch some Black Metal bands. The rock/metal world is vast, and whatever you want to hear or see is out there. Looking forward to the day you up the ante and reach to some heavier/crazier stuff🤘
I prefer (classic) Metallica to AC/DC, but AC/DC was amazing. I would agree with your grading system as it applies to Metallica’s first four albums. There’s lots of good (and fun) AC/DC songs. Try Thunderstruck and You Shook Me All Night Long. This is their third singer, Brian Johnson.
For me, AC/DC definitely beats Metallica, but they're both incredibly talented and absolutely iconic rock bands, with amazing songs and performances. (And I prefer Brian Johnson to Bon Scott as AC/DC's vocalist - again, both extremely talented, and Bon's death was such a loss to music in general.)
Nice reaction Mia! Well there is one band, that also comes from Australia, that sounds close to AC DC. That band is Airbourne, great rock n roll band with a modern touch! React to: Live it Up
yes Angus their guitarist does work off a lot of calories. I have a video from their 1979 Paris show and he went offstage mid song to get an oxygen mask hooked to his face for a few breaths before finishing the song "Let there be rock"
Though they aren't really today, more of a back then, Krokus is a pretty close match. Their singer Marc Storace sounds quite a lot like Bon Scott, AC/DC's original singer. Since you like faster songs, I'd recommend Eat The Rich by them.
Great band, one of the biggest ever, they had a great, unique singer in Bon Scott, some prefer him but they became super stars with Brian Johnson, the singer yoh see here. The album of the same name is one of the biggest in history, next you should hear another huge hit from it, Hells Bells. For some classic stuff with Bon Scott, do the studio original of Highway to Hell. They have sold 100s of Millions of albums and always tour in Giant Stadiums, one of Rock's best and biggest, enjoy beautiful, always sexy Mia! 🔥🎵🎸🎤🎸🎶🔥
I like AC/DC, they do simple and groovy song, they're quite good!!! I prefer Metallica too, they're more intricate, they vary way more, they're different. Then comes Iron Maiden, I love them, fuck the rest 😂😂😂 Jokes aside I suggest you T.N.T. or Hell Bells from AC/DC. T.N.T. is a boy/teen metal song, you don't need to know anything about metal, rock or music at all, you just need space to headbang!
A more recent band that reminded me of AcDcs style was Jet. They're no longer together but they always made think of a band cross between AcDc and the Beatles! Love Jet but that's just my opinion
I really like ACDC, always with a lot of energy I don't like to compare bands, because it all depends on the day and time, there are times when I prefer one band and other times I prefer others See you later
Saw them live, Angus had a cat walk that would go out to the middle of the arena and it ended where my seat was so he would do solos right there in front of me
Hey Mia the closest band to them atm is a new band called Southern River Band. You should also react to the new Linkin Park - Two Faced with female lead singer. Video is awesome. Other suggestions would be Closer by Nine Inch Nails Welcome to the fold by Filter No hope in sight by Paradise Lost New Metallica album 72 seasons Wolf Moon by Type O Negative More Human than Human by White Zombie H.I.M. Wings of a butterfly or wicked game. Really good different mix there. Love your channel super cool
You shoot sweetie I've known what they look like a long time ago I first started getting into this group when I was 13 in 1975 nothing like Metallica these guys were classic heavy rock and roll Brian Johnson the singer on this one this came out on the black and Black album which came out when I was 18 I used to ride around stoned on weed listening to this album on 8-track in my 1968 Ford Fairlane you most beautiful young lady you
AC/DC is a cool band and they have a lot of cool songs but just watched your Beastie Boys Intergalactic reaction and they are 1 of my fav bands of all time and you def need to get into them you won't be disappointed but start with prob their best album from the 80's called Licensed to ill. And for rock/grunge, Alice in Chains another fav band of mine and half the world.
With all due respect to current bands, AC/DC is really AC/DC. There is no other band that comes close to matching their style.

Nice reaction Mia! Well there is one band, that also comes from Australia, that sounds close to AC DC. That band is Airbourne, great rock n roll band with a modern touch! React to: Live it Up
Really lol l wonder how many lads actually tune in for the video and not the obvious..anyways what a lovely pair of vases AC-DC Rule 💪
best in da biz
Love that you’re sporting the block M! Let’s go Blue!! 🙌🏈
yes Angus their guitarist does work off a lot of calories.
This Beautiful Black Queen Looks Amazing ❤❤❤🌹🌹🌹
Hell yes. AC/DC 🤘🏽 😈 🤘🏽
Awesome song and band and you are definitely looking very beautiful too so Happy Thanksgiving to you.
I like AC/DC, they do simple and groovy song, they're quite good!!!
I prefer Metallica too, they're more intricate, they vary way more, they're different.
Then comes Iron Maiden, I love them, fuck the rest 😂😂😂
Jokes aside I suggest you T.N.T. or Hell Bells from AC/DC.
T.N.T. is a boy/teen metal song, you don't need to know anything about metal, rock or music at all, you just need space to headbang!
Top 2 or 3 in the history of rock bands. Great review.
ac/dc live from river plate. whole lotta rosie.
Hells Bells is a great AC/DC song
AC/DC - THUNDERSTRUCK
This came out I had the cassette tape I played it at the pool on the jukebox a million times drove people crazy probably
A more recent band that reminded me of AcDcs style was Jet. They're no longer together but they always made think of a band cross between AcDc and the Beatles! Love Jet but that's just my opinion
Awesome reaction babe ❤
I really like ACDC, always with a lot of energy
I don't like to compare bands, because it all depends on the day and time, there are times when I prefer one band and other times I prefer others
See you later
Saw them live, Angus had a cat walk that would go out to the middle of the arena and it ended where my seat was so he would do solos right there in front of me
The answer to your question might be Rival Sons, although they're more like Led Zeppelin. Fantastic band, though
Hey Mia the closest band to them atm is a new band called Southern River Band.
You should also react to the new Linkin Park - Two Faced with female lead singer. Video is awesome.
Other suggestions would be Closer by Nine Inch Nails
Welcome to the fold by Filter
No hope in sight by Paradise Lost
New Metallica album 72 seasons
Wolf Moon by Type O Negative
More Human than Human by White Zombie
